Dahil deadma ako sa 189 invite after 2 invitations rounds. Naglofge na ako ng 190 noong 4 August. VICTORIA ako.

there is a provisional visa SC 489 whereby your Your sister can be your sponsor (see http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/489-). But that would still depend if you have a skilled occupation and u meet the passmark of 60 (including relative sponsorship). Its still better to apply for PR under Skilled Independent or state nomination if you have enough points. Mejo matagal din processing ng SC 489 compared to 189 and 190.

not too sure about student visa. pero ang alam ko, kelangan pa din ng show money and dapat nakapangalan sa sister mo kasi ung sa kakilala ko hinanapan ng show money na nakapangalan sa kanya e kahit na nagprovide sila ng evidence of funds ng kapatid nia and letters na ung kapatid nia ang magsponsor ng pag aaral nia.

do u hv enough points to meet the passmark without claiming for work experience? if yes, it doesnt matter, pwede ka mag apply kahit wala ka pa 3 years of work.

Hi all,i am a doctor here in the phils.i have a sister in australia (citizen) and she's willing to sponsor me and my family to go to sydney.what type of visa ang pwede sa amin? Ang gusto sana namin is mag migrate then doon na lng mag exam ng AMC.I understand nasa sol ang doctor.but ok lng ba even if doon na lng mag exam?

mejo mahaba ang process for doctors and yes, you need to take the test. not too sure, pero once i have read na may theoretical and practical tests for doctors. unfortunately, there is no pr visa available for doctors na instant unless you go through ung test and skills assessment. same process as the rest for skilled migrants. 1) Skills assessment 2) EOI 3) State Nomination (if applicable) 4) Actual visa lodgment 5) Police and medical.

Sponsorship from your sister doesnt really help much, it will only give you additional points (if sponsored) pero for Subclass 489 lang yan which is provisional visa (Skilled Regional) valid only for 4 years.

@Xiaomau82 tnx sa reply.hypothetical question,if pagdating namin sa oz and i decided not to pursue my career as doctor,meaning i wont take the tests and instead magwork na lng doon as non doctor,mapapauwi ba kmi after 4 years?

yung skills mo as a doctor kelangn mo yan only for skills assessment (for migration purpose), pero hindi ka restricted to work only as a doctor once granted PR or ung subclass 489 visa. ang visa condition lang nmn ng 489 is to work and live in regional areas.

oops sorry i missed that part. if your sister is in Sydney then she's not eligible to sponsor you for Subclass 489 visa.

Yung spouse/partner mo ba anong occupation baka easier kung sia mag apply? mejo nakakalito kasi ung procedure for doctors e. para mas clear you may read up the procedures here https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Work/Work/Allocation-dates-for-General-Skilled-Migration-applications/migration-medical

Hi po. Good morning po s lahat. Ask ko lng po?what is the chance po b m-invite or get a visa? Coz my agent told me im good to go. SS NSW my nominated skills is chef. Which she said also indemand job in australia. Kaso were worried about the quota. Pls. Help po.

mataas pa quota ng chef (15 out of 2854 pa lang naiinvite), plus SOL sia, di ba enough points mo to apply for SC 189?

@Xiaomau82 i got 55pts right now. But sad to say, my bandscore is 6.5. Im worried if those figure would affect my application. Im applying for SS NSW. which will give me add 5pts.

Hi, need ko lang ng advise kung paano magapply sa Australia.
eto po qualifications ko; may relatives ako sa Australia na willing magbigay ng sponsor and pero gusto ko lang hingi ng advise if ever ako magprocess on my own/independent. ano requirements at 1st step.

see below my qualifications:
1. I have relatives in Sydney and Melbourne (uncle)
2. age band score 25
3. ielts - not yet taken (required ba kumuha agad ng ielts agad?)
4. licensed architect in Philippines
5. Exp in Philippines - 4yrs
6. Overseas experience dubai - almost 9yrs
6. not yet married
7. present work less than a yr- freelance architect at part owner design+build+sell

please advise, thanks in advance:)
