    Finally, I got my desire score. Thanks to @filipinacpa

    For describe image, I just follow this template:

    The {line graph|pie chart|bar chart} projected on the screen is the presentation of variables from research entitled {title}

    Based on the summary provided, {insert below}

    {Line graph}
    The line graph represent as {graph} has a {gradual|dramatic|slight} {increase|rise|decrease|fall} from {value} to {value} between {year} to {year}. While the line graph represent as {graph} has a {gradual|dramatic|slight} {increase|rise|decrease|fall} from {value} to {value} between {year} to {year}

    {Bar chart}
    The highest figure is {title} which is {value}. While the lowest figure is {title} with {value}.
    It is suprising to see the {title} is the second {highest|lowest} figure with {value}

    {Pie Chart}
    The pie chard is divided into {x} parts. The largest sector is {title} which is {value}. While the smallest sector is {title} with {value}. It is suprising to see the {title} is the second {largest|smallest} sector with {value}.

    The {line graph|pie chart|bar chart} was concise and accurate which can be used as reference for future studies with the same objective.

    For essay part, I used a template.

    These days, there is an ongoing global debate between people about {insert} and if it should be viewed as a positive or negative impact to society. While it is possible to claim {insert}, in my view is the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. In this essay, I shall discuss my point of view by analyzing both sides of argument.

    To begin with, there are several reasons can be offer to explained why {insert}. Firstly, {insert}. For example, {insert}. It is {insert}. Secondly, it should also taken into account that {insert}. This will lead to {insert}. Lastly, it goes without saying that {insert}.

    On the other hand, those people who argue for {insert} have a different point of view. Many people believe {insert}. For instances, {insert}. This can {insert}. In addition, it is completely undeniable that {insert}.

    In conclusion, the cited advantages points provide support for the view that {insert}. Therefore, it is incontrovertible that {insert}.

    @vher congrats! I am taking my PTE exam this March. Have you taken it at Trident Makati? Please share more tips as you had encountered in the exam.

    1. Have you taken your 10 minutes optional break? (Madalas kasi ako mag pee)
    2. When you speak sa microphone / mouthpiece provided, saan mo itinapat banda?
    3. What time is your exam, morning or afternoon? Could you share your experience?
    4. Is it true na much faster ang exam pace ng actual versus online PTE mock paid test?

    Thanks. I'm currently reviewing my notes. Better if may mag share ng tips especially sa mga fresh test takers.

    More power!

    @se29m salamat for sharing. I really need this one as I hurdle for more VISA points. Althogh sa SG ka nag take, I think it is universal naman to all sites I guess.

    1. So nag pee ka rin on the given 10 mins break, hehe...
    2. So not direct sa tapat ng lips mo pala dapat
    3. I am also set 9:00 AM to take the exam
    4. Mas easy, nice! Pero I just have to practice & practice

    Lastly, ano inaral mo in your final exam prep? I use Macmillan and online practice sets of my bought PTE kit.

    Congrats! Sana ma hit ko din ang scores ko not less than 65 on all 4 bands.

    @jedh_g try to study the possible essay topics na pwedeng lumabas sa exam. may available list na makukuha online or sa thread na ito. para may idea ka na kung ano ang isusulat mo for that particular topic para less time na lang kailangan mo for conceptualization. mas maraming time to write at review for mistakes in spelling and grammar.

    @se29m thanks, actually wala naman ako masyado problem sa skills ko in writing (my former IELTS score in Writing on my last take was 7.0). Parang I have to practice on speaking and reading part. Hope you could share your tips and experience here further.

    @jedh_g etong mga tips ni boss @OZwaldCobblepot ang ginamit ko..
    Just to share my experience earlier, I arrived at the testing center 1 hour before the schedule. Surprisingly, they started to admit examinees 30mins earlier. 2 lang kami nun kaya we had a head start in speaking test. Walang distractions at ingay. Nasa summarize written text na ko nung dumating mga kasama namin at nag umpisa nang umingay. So for me, it really helped na maaga ako nagstart.

    Speaking - sinunod ko lang ung mga tips sa thread na to. Templates, templates, templates. Magprepare na kayo ng flexible na template na kahit iba ibang image lumabas, magagamit nyo. apat na sentence lang ako sa describe image and it worked for me.

    1. Type of Chart and title
    2. X-axis, y-axis
    3. Highest percentage is...whereas lowest percentage is...
    4. The chart is accurate and concise hence it can be used as a reference for future study.

    Tamang speed lang ung pagsasalita ko and was able to utilize 36-38secs. Same din ung sa re-tell lecture. Use flexible templates with academic words. For read aloud and repeat sentence, make sure there is intonation para mas clear mo mapronounce mga words.

    Reading - Wala ako mabibigay na technical tips dito. based sa mock exam ko, eto weakest point ko. So what I did was after mock test ko, bumili ako sa booksale ng book. worth 35 pesos. haha. then I finished the book as fast as I can while understanding the story well. It took me a week. Then I tried mock test again, and it worked! tumaas score ko. haha. not sure if it will work sa iba but for me, eto ung ginawa kong strategy to improve my comprehension and vocabulary.

    Listening - practice typing without looking sa keyboard. and ginagawa ko sa fill in the blanks, I typed in muna ung portion of the missing word. after ng recording, tsaka ko palang inayos spelling before clicking "Next". Same strategy will also work for Write from Dictation part.

    Writing - read and understand yung mga essays dito:
    http://dylanaung.blogspot.com/2015/04/pte-academic-essay-questions-and-ideas.html

    lahat na ata ng possible na lumabas na essay nanjan. I was very lucky since maaga ako dumating sa exam, nagbasa muna ako ng mga essays jan. Fortunately, ung lumabas na dalawang essay ko, nanjan pareho and I was able to skimmed it before the exam. haha. Kaya swabe na lang ung ideas during the exam. And familiarize collocations and academic words para maging "scientific" ung essay mo. haha.

    I think that's all. the rest, nabigay na sa mga previous post dito.

    @jedh_g Thank you. Took my exam here in Singapore - International Plaza

    1. Yes. Actually my advice is you should. Kc after mo Speaking and Reading sobrang ma ddrain ka so i decided to go to the toilet and wash my face.
    2. Regarding the microphone, to be honest i didn't give much attention sa position nya, i guess at least just make sure it is not too close kc baka maging garbled yung record mo.
    3. I took my exam at around 06:15 PM, ok naman dito sa SG mejo strict yung mga proctor and were were full packed so there might be a chance that you might get disrupted sa Speaking section. FOCUS lng siguro tlga.
    4. I dont think so.. dami nagssabi na mas mabilis yung sa actual pero for me, almost the same lang sila nung pearson. You just have to very particular on your time management most especially sa writing and reading.

    So for me overall, Mcmillan, ANKIT KAPOOR, Paid Online from Pearson. (provided and compiled by @filipinacpa)

    Speaking - Not really sure why i got 90 pero dami ko rin na missed out na part, i guess i just remained consistent and used every second to talk and kahit mejo complicated yung picture or even yung diagram just try to be spontaneous

    Reading - This is my weakness kahit sa IELTS pa pero mas madali tlga sa PTE-A practice lng siguro nang practice and try to to comprehend the topic sentence instead of skimming the phrases.

    Writing - Dun sa binigay na list of reviewers ni filipacpa meron dun mga list of essays, try to review it. Kc yung lumabas sakin nandun mismo sa excel file.

    Listening - For this part d ko alam pero mas effective kc sakin yung nakikinig lng tlga ako. Throughout the exam i just closed my eyes and try to understand the whole team of the conversation except dun sa highlight incorrect words and fill in the missing word

    Hello mga kababayan!
    I've been a silent follower on this thread for almost a week now. I was inspired by the stories of people who passed PTE so I immediately booked a test, which will be this Saturday. Unfortunately, I scored low on my two scored tests. Help naman po mga Ate at Kuya. I need 65 in each modules.
    My scores were:
    Scored test A:
    L/R/S/W: 69/56/60/69

    Scored test B:
    L/R/S/W: 66/58/55/68.

    Sobra pong nakaka depress. malapit na exam ko. ang baba nang reading at speaking ko po. please help.

    Pwede po ninyo e send sakin mga sample reading materials sa Mcmillan. hindi ko po ma open yung pdf.

    Salamat po:)
