Guys help i think my problema ako. Just received an email now na DIBP ordered for my PTE Result yung latest, nung Feb 22, yung bagsak ko na score..Bakit ganun?of course hindi yun ang i.claim ko na result sa EOI. Yung Jan.5 pa rin nman ang i.claim ko. Mgkakaproblema ba ko nito sa ITA?

@hopeful_mea nope. Dont worrry. Automatic send lang ng pearson yun sa dipb. Yung pasadong test na naka indicate sa eoi mo yung pagbabasehan ng dipb.

@mokong Nakulangan ka lng sa focus sir. Bka pagod na mind mo kya ngrerefuse mg.focus sa naririnig. Try mo pahangin sndali, do something physical and take pte off your mind for mga 15mins,o matulog effective dn yan sa kin heheh. Youll see pgbalik mo mdali mo na mremember ang words..
And btw writing the first letter of each word, in capital letters, works tlga. But kelangan practican to train the mind and hand na mg.teamwork heheh

@hopeful_mea baka nga, 9 hours na ako nag papractice eh, walang pahinga at kahit ung maiiksing repeat sentence nakakimutan ko agad kahit mga 4 words lang, lol

@hopeful_mea thanks sis! Got my score na.. L83/R87/S76/W83. Praise God! Medyo kinapos ng 3 points sa Speaking para makuha yung highest point, pero Super Thank You Lord pa din! Makakapagstart na ko ng process ko.

Thanks to all the tips na nakuha ko dito.

And FYI, I also took IELTS last December (L7.5/R7.5/W6.5/S7.0) kaya lang kinapos ako sa Writing so I tried PTE-A. Totoo na mas madali makakuha ng desired score sa PTE lalo na sa writing kung sanay ka magtype sa computer. Nahirapan ako sa writing sa IELTS kasi handwritten. Mahirap magbura and magre-write pag nagbubuo ka ng thoughts mo.

Sa mga mageexam pa lang, kaya nyo po yan. Wag lang kabahan habang nag-eexam. And important talaga na magpractice. And syempre, pinaka important, magpray.

@marzky thanks po. eto mga essay topics ko (although, di ko na maalala exact wordings)
1. One's ability to communicate in different languages will not be important in the future - agree or disagree
2. What is the major problem in the world and what are your proposals to help resolve this.

Nahirapan ako pagkasyahin ang 20 mins. Buti na lang hindi ako masyadong tensed kaya nacomplete ko yung essay ng saktong-sakto sa time.

About sa essay writing. Lahat ng PTE-A tests ko, di ko na abot yung 200-300 words. Laging below 200 words lang nagagawa ko. Tapos may instance pa na walang Conclusion paragraph. Pero pag sa IELTS, complete ko naman 250 words pero 6.5 pa din score ko. Same lang din naman ang ginawa ko, either 5-7-7-5 or 3-5-5-5-3.

hirap ayusin mic. naririnig ko tlga breath ko. nahihirapan din ako sa retell lecture

usually kung ano lang yung natake down kong note sa narinig ko..,yun lang yung sinasabi ko. ung sa mga practice test kasi na nbabasa kong sagot nila sa retell lecture, prang may sarili silang interpretation at hindi exactly sa narinig nila sa sinabi sa lecture. buti pa kayoo nkapagstart na ng processing

@catthsy Tama nman yung approach mo sis, yung nsa notes mo yun lng yung sabihin mo. Dagdagan mo lng ng kunting academic words tsaka don't forget giving conclusion pra ms mataas score.

@se29m pwede pala yun? kasi sabi dun sa website ng Sg police kelangan daw sinasabi na kelangan mo yung document na yun. Copy paste ko dito:

"The applicant is required to produce documentary proof from a relevant consulate/immigration or government authority/educational institution stating that the production of the COC is required for a specific purpose. For example, you may produce the documents from a relevant consulate/immigration or government authority/educational institution requesting you to produce the COC to support your application. All documents are to be translated to English, if written in other languages."

@kate27 hi my tips kaba pano ma improve ang writing? kasi dun sa mock test ko. 250 words lahat ng essay ko. Then yung summarize into one sentence around 25 to 30 words.
Gusto ko tumaas yung 71 into 79+? dapat ba mas marami words na academic ang gamitin?

And how about reading? currently 71 yung score ko, target ko is 79+, medyo nakakalito yung dropdown and drag and drop, and reorder sentence

any tips?

@redmartrichard hi! Sa writing nka.90 ako sa last exam so talagang mlaking factor ang length. Sagad 300 words ang 2 essays ko. Sa summarize in one sentence hndi ko npansin ilang words ako pero make sure complex ang sentence. Passive para ms mahaba. Sa summarize written text sagarin din dpat 70 words.

Sa reading hirap dn ako dyan sa jumbled paragrph pro practice lng.

try ko din yung pattern na 3773 (writefix) + template sa essay tapos 290 to 295 words. If my improvement sa score ko from 71 to 79+, it means ganun pattern ng pag assess ng computer program.
