@kymme @redmartrichard masyadong mataas ang mic ko nitong recent exam ko. looking back now, i knew something was not right sa mic i should have listened sa instincts ko. yung first exam nsa in between ng mouth and chin..gnun dapat, wla msyadong hangin na na.capture nun.

@hopeful_mea nice thanks sa tips. buti nalang sinabi mo, nag ppractice din ako now dito, eh medyo sablay din mic ko (cheap logitech headset), try ko sana bilin yung gold kit pero ayusin ko muna equipments para mas accurate yung result sa speaking.

I agree positioning nang mic importante talaga. 4 to 5 mins siguro ako nag mic test bago nag simula. Inadjust adjust ko xa. Mga 9 volume din siguro yung mic ko. 10 ata pinakamataas na volume. Ako pinakalast nag start nang exam kasi sa mic test ko, sobra natagalan ako dun. Nasa left side yung mic ko, harap lang xa nang lips ko. Nung nilayo ko yung mic mga 2 to 3 inches ayaw malayo ang ginawa ko nilakasan ko nalang yung volume ko sa mic.

@hopeful_mea okay nga theory mo, between mouth and chin, kasi pag nasa tapat ng mouth "baka" my tendency na madetect yung noise sa breathing.

@jedh_g true, agahan mo to avoid unnecessary stress. and sana dun ka ma assign sa solo seat. maganda kase dun di masyado maingay kase nasa room. and un signature sa passport dapat magaya mo sa actual, ako kase dati nastress kase di ko magaya un sarili ko na signature sa passport kase compressed un sa passport sobrang liit.

@paulcasablanca1980 un fill in the blanks ng listening if im not mistaken eto un pwede mo na lagay un key letters sa blank field once you hear it (contrary to tip sa pte practice na take note sa pad), ayusin na lang un spelling before mag next item, careful dapat sa tense and form ie past tense (ed) or singular plural (s) syempre spelling din

select correct summary - pakinggan maigi un recording isipin un key message na usually emphasized ng speaker as conclusion at mag notes. wag itry basahin un choices while listening kase maiiwan ka baka di magets un key message.

summarize spoke text - gamit ng synonyms ng mga words mentioned sa recording. tapos form pa din parang may intro body and conclusion (check mo un required word count and kung one sentence ba-cant recall kung eto un one sentence dapat)

@kate27, sa Fill in the Blanks, sanay ako na isulat muna sa notepad, tas walang tingin-tingin :-) noted sa select correct summary & summarise spoken text.. may score din ang listening from speaking ( repeat sentence/answer short question at re-tell lecture ) kaya dito din ako ngayon nag po-focus :-)

@paulcasablanca1980 ah ok! kung saan ka comfortable. mas mabilis kse ako magtype kesa magsulat kaya nagwork skn un.
mahirap talaga un repeat sentence, practice lang talaga. tska kung nagkalimutan na, at least masabi mo un maalala mo na words, meron ako nalimutan na 2 ganyang item e, may nasabi naman ako pero sure ako na kulang pero 90 pa din un speaking ko so mukang may tolerance for error jan

@kymme skn sis un dulo ng mic is just beside-below the corner of the mouth. madaming adjustments din ako ginawa before ko nakuha un crisp setting. un walang air/breathing captured. i think important din na hindi ka pabago bago ng pwesto during speaking test kase naiiba din un register ng voice pag nakayuko na. tendency ko nuon kase start na nakastraight body, then pag describe image na nakadikit na muka ko halos sa screen. tapos pag lecture nakayuko ulit sa notepad. napansin ko wala na pwesto un mic so balik ko ulit sa dati

@kate27 many many thanks sa tips mate appreciated it! Any last word for microphone set positioning. Marami caught up sa accurate na pwesto nito sa actual exam resulting to low score sa speaking. Need your experience here at Trident when you last took it...

@mokong parang hindi, kase hinahanap sa summarize spoken text un main idea and konti lang un words 50-70 lang.

@mokong 6 ata na describe image, depende sa set na matapat syo e. iba iba. may pie, line, bar, meron din andaming data points like 2 set ng graphs. meron din picture (eto un mahirap kase alang template, though pwede din gawan just in case lumabas). un data source pag available dapat mamention un. kaya ginawa ko part ng template un data source, kung wala or meron data source indicated at least masabi ko.

So parang ganito po ba yan?

@hopeful_mea sis, kelan ka nagtake? nagtake ako yesterday.. naloloka ako habang naghihintay ng result. tingin ko sumablay ako sa speaking kasi meron akong mga repeat the sentence na di ko masyado naintindihan. Hay, sana di masyado malaki ang effect sa score.

Guys pasagot naman po dun po sa mga nakapag exam na, ask ko lang po sa repeat sentence po ba mabilis or mabagal lang salita dun? Kasi kaninang morning kahit mahaba sentence na-rerepeat ko, now hindi na, sumakit na pati ulo ko, lol

@pink feb 22 sis nung monday lang. Ok lng yun bsta nakuha mo majority sa repeat sentence. Dnt worry as long as tama position mo sa mic you'll be fine..
