Reply to @Cheers25: Salamat,sis. May tanong pa po ako. Kasi ung Aunt ko ang magsponsor sa akin. Sya po ang magbabayad ng tuition ko. Kung maglalodge na ko ng visa, hahanapan pa rin ba ako ng bank statement? Ang alam ko pag streamlined visa, hindi na yata hahanapan, sabi ng IDP. Pero hindi din daw sure un. SInagot ko din ang tanong ko.ahahhah! Pero what's your opinion?

@HaideeN nakita ko nga yun school mo before, okay siya.

Kaya lang may barkada kasi ako dun sa sch ko, kaya dun nalang ako. About dun sa proof of funds, once your visa has been approved I reckon okay na yun eh. You're good to go. Wala ng kelangan na further proof na kelangan dalin kapag nasa AU ka. Ako wala ako dadalin. Kasi for sure nasa system na nila yun. The fact na naggrant ka means na you are able or someone is able to support you. Kahit na front lang yun. Siguro dalin mo nalang yun affidavit of support mo para sure.

@sisa16 Singit ako. heheh Diba mageenroll ka, after nun papadalan ka ng Certificate of enrollment, sa CoE makikita mo kung anong type of course yun kukunin mo, either VET, degree or whatever. Tapos based dun mo malalaman kung anong assessment level ka. SA DIAC website if I remember correctly meron dun na parang 'visa wizard' ikekey-in mo yun type of course mo and country. Dun mo makikita kung anong assessment level ka. Kunwari AL 1 ka, ang kukunin mo na checklist is yung pang AL 1. Kapag ganun I believe hindi nga kelangan ng proof of funds yun. Basta sa CoE mo malalaman kung anong type ng course mo and anong assessment level mo.
Kung VET course ka, but your school is under streamlined, don't assume na AL1 requirements ka na. Kasi magiging under ka lang ng streamlined if your vet course is just a prerequisite of a course that you will further take in your college's partner university.
So kunwari yun sakin, business partner ng isang UNI yun school ko, under din siya ng streamlined pero hindi naman ako magaaral pa dun sa UNI, so most probably hindi ako inassess under streamlined processing. So I had to submit proof of funds padin. PERO, and this is a big PERO. hehehe I will never know how the case officer assessed my documents. Kasi prerogative nila yang streamlined kapag vet course ka. Mahirap iexplain,hehe.

Ako may tanong, hehe pano ba malalaman na No Further Stay? Wala naman nakalagay dun sa pinadala sakin. Pero may duration lang yun visa ko.

nasa page 3 under Student Visa COnditions. Tama ung sinabi ni sis Cheers na kapag 10 months or less eh may NFS. Yung brother ko, he went to CUrtin U last 2011. If I remember correctly, nagrant yung visa nya ng Feb 2011 then ung expiration was April 2012. He was very fortunate na matanggap sya sa hospital so may working visa na sya. So kung walang NFS sa visa mo, then wala yun siguro pero I am not sure.hehee.. DO you intend to stay in AU permanently after your studies?

@sisa16 @cheers25 @beaj mga sis sa pagkkalam ko sa NFS tama ung sinabi ni cheers25 pero pag andun ka na, sa pang 7th month of stay mo pwede ka na mag apply ulit ng higher subclass ng visa lets say 572 ang hawak mo, pwede ka na apply ng 573 assuming na tinapos mo ung full duration ng course ha. Hindi ko lng sure sa pag masters or bachelors agad kkunin pagdating dun.

@yukishih hi! wala din ako idea sa bridging visa... Pero swerte ng bro mo at ganun nangyari sa kanya.

Hi guys! may school kaya sa AU na tumatanggap ng letter from university dito sa pinas as a proof that all subject are taught in english?? baka kasi pwede yun gamitin as a proof na proficient naman tayo sa english para di na mag IELTS.

Im not sure about that.. kasi nayon medyo naging mahigpit sila re: english requirements, most schools (if not all) require ielts exam, tsaka sa embassy din... before sa nurses they accept certifcate from univ./schools here na english yung med. of instruction nila pero now hindi na ielts na dapat,

Reply to @lnm: I'm quite sure walang school na nagaaccept nun english certification. IELTS is required talaga by international institutions, employers and their respective embassies. Unless, magaaral ka muna ng english dun, then hindi mo na kelangan magtake.
