    Para sa akin NAB Classic ang the best. Wala kasi itong fee unlike nung accounts sa other big banks. And once you have the NAB Classic account you can open NAB isaver online which has higher interest rate. Yung ibang account kasi parang ideal sya kung meron ka ng regular source of income dahil meron syang minimum monthly deposit (aside from the min maintaining balance). Check their website.

    Wala pa kami sa Melbourne. Plan namin is end of April. Checking for fares pa.

    Sa mga galing palang SG, ano po sinakyan nyo? I'm checking on Qantas and Jetstar so far parang mas mura ang Qantas kasi meron silang sale. Ok ba ang Qantas? Meron kaming 3 years old na baby (baby pa talaga...) Convenient ba sa may batang kasama?

    @bait0211 , ah ganun ba.. big move din ako sa June or July baka maextent hnggng August. dpende kung may marami ng baon. Accommodation din ang 1st priority ko. Melby rin destination ko. Hoping to find a place na near sa CBD. Ung mga alerts ko mostly sa CBD area. Usually when ba hiring season sa Melby. Advisable b sa oct/nov pumunta, kc inofferan ako ng boss ko kng pede p ako mkpgstay ng longer. He's willing to give a departamental bonus sa akin.. worried ko lng bka wala me mahanap n work.

    Some say some companies start hiring by July, coz accordingly yun start ng financial year nila.

    If I were you, I'd take your boss offer. Sayang din yung bonus na yun, kung magkano man. Dagdag pambaon din. And Oct/Nov is Spring so you it will be easier for you to move around (commute etc), and hindi rin kasing gastos (winter wear etc).

    mas maganda ba talaga melbourne kesa sa sydney? i know medyo generic ang tanong na to, pero in terms of sweldo and "mapaglilibangan", takot ko kasi baka boring.

    @prcand pare ang alam ko medicare ay saglit lang, tax file number ay online application, bank account naman ay pwede magopen prior to arrival at personal apperance na lang sa branch for verification at claiming ng atm card, phone number na prepaid may nabibili kahit sa airport.

    NSW tuloy namin eh kaso visa 190. sabi nila sydney ay mas livelier city than melbourne. parang ok sa sydney kung single at nagsisimula pa lang sa Au kasi pag may family na mas gusto mo na ng tahimik na paligid, hehe. initial entry namin sa May pa.
