Age - 15 points
English language ability - try to have a band 8 in all the modules (try PTE) - 20 points
Skilled employment (work experience) - 5 points
Qualifications (BS Degree) - 15 points

Either magpaassess ka din to get 5 points for Partner Skill or Nomination/sponsorship (VISA 190).

Visa 190 is hahanap ka ng state na open yung Job ni hubby then apply for nomination.

question po: sa Medical ba ng child (9yrs old) need pa ng pedia to check? or same lang ng
doctor for adult yung mag check? naka lagay kasi Medical at TB test sa anak ko eh.

@mharcute as per our experience with Nationwide same doctor lang yung magchecheck sa adult at children

then the PPD Test (TB Test) will be done in Makati Med for a fee of 1K Kay Dr Celdran.

Ang alam ko sa ST Luke's afternoon pa available ang pedia doctor. Let's wait for others to comment.

Sa Nationwide, pricey yung medical pero mabilis silang mag upload unlike sa St Luke's.

@rina74 hi you may also consider the PTE for your hubby instead of IELTS, mas achievable ang 20 points kasi computer based ang examination.

@rina74 for state sponsorship check you husband's nominated work code here https://www.anzscosearch.com/search/ and see which state is open for sponsorship. Then go to the state's official website & see instructions for migration, like what others said you can try out partner skills for the additional 5points.

@guenb hi po, we are in the uae ask ko lang po. my husband is the one who's applying for skilled general immigration. di namin na reach yung 60 pts system. is there any other way pa kaya para ma reach naming yung total 60 pts age 15pts IELTS 10 work experience 5pts bachelors degree 15 pts toatal of 45 pts only... any suggestion po pls? thanks...

@mariem thanks for the suggestion po.. i check the PTE here in Dubai and i think much prefer namin sya compare to IELTS and mas madali yung result 5 days lang. hoping sana na ma achieve ng husband ko ang 20 pts para we need n lang 5 pts to reach 60pts feeling positive lang kmi kahit alm nmin na 50/50 chance namin..bahala na si god kung anong plan nya at least we try kung ano ung maggawa nmin..

@rina74 yeah best talaga if maka 20 points si hubby mo atleast with age automatic na yung points na 25 or 30 points makukuha nyo which makes a total of 45 or 50 na kaagad konti na lang ang hahabulin nyo points after education and work assessment.

@rina74: hi there! san magpapassess si hubby mo? if EA he still needs to undergo IELTS. as I've heard hindi pa daw pwede ang PTE sa EA. however double check mo na din sa EA website.

@rina74 sa English profeciency mo naman yong PTE so you can take it for the points. I assume na nagpaskill assess na yong hubby mo and lumalabas 5 pts lang ang makuhang points. Kung 2 years kang non practicing I think you can still claim the years you work kasi depending on the assessing authority, madalas within the last 3 years yong iconsider so di pa lapse.

@rina74 ito po yung conditions ng partner skills:

Partner skills
You can receive five points if, when you are invited to apply for this visa, your partner provides evidence that they:
were under 50 years of age
had at least competent English
had nominated an occupation on the same skilled occupation list as your nominated occupation
had been assessed by the relevant assessing authority as having suitable skills for the nominated occupation.

@mariem if ever na makaka 20 pts si hubby s PTE ang comp. lang nmin ay 55 pts. kse sa age 15 pts lang kmi 42 yo.old aged n kmi.. age 15pts incase 20 pts for pte experience 5pts education 15 pts so total of 55 pts lang..ano bang highest points ang ibinibigay s PTE

@bait0211 Hi sa vetasses sya nag pa assess so waiting pa lang kami although i know nmin na di nmin reach 6o pts let see the result sabi ng vetasses 2 to 3wks daw ang result my husband submit his paper last march 3
yung SA sya ba yung comp.na mag assess? sorry hah..im not really familiar pa s mga code, newbies pa lng kmi here..

Just finished medical checkup in St. Lukes with my wife and 2 kids. Yes they have seperate doctor for adult and kids ( Pedia for kids) kinuhanan sila dugo din.

Question: how many days kaya bago nila i submit ang result? I heard kasi yung result sa dugo ang matagal. Please advice.

Hello! just started to research on how to apply for work in Australia. As i have read, there is a need for a skills assessment first before applying for a skilled independent visa. Tanong ko lang po if ano mga criteria if ever magpapa-assess ako for occupation na Actuary? I have a degree in mathematics and I am currently working as an actuarial analyst. Would that be sufficient to have a positive skills assessment? Thanks!

Tanong ko lang po kung pwede po ba yung ganitong path sa pagmimigrate?:

First apply muna ako ng PR w/ nominated occupation as electrical engineering tech. (assuming makapasa sa assessment). After gaining a visa, iactivate lang tapos tuloy ko muna magtrabaho (either PH or ME) para makaipon ng pera (tutal may 5 yrs validity yung PR) after makaipon, magpa assess sa VETASSES as electrician para magkalicense then tska magstart maghanap ng work as electrical technician sa Oz.

Sa ngayon po kasi ang goal ko is makasecure ng PR as soon as possible at sa mas mababang halaga, wala pa po kasi akong ipon kaya babrasuhin ko nalang yung assessment fee sa TRA (mas mahal ata VETASSESS) at iba pang gastusin sa application. Tsaka kung sakali po kasing magka PR, wala pa naman akong pang sustento sa sarili ko tska kung sakaling mag VETASSESS ako, mag papa assess ako sigurado ule after ko makaipon dahil 3 yrs lang validity. Yung sa TRA po kasi mas mura tsaka mukang mas madali kaso di ako magiging eligible magka electrical workers license.

@mharcute You may directly ask Nationwide kung sila or saan ka nila pwede irefer for pediatric report they are very much willing naman to help.

@jinkai re EOI you may correct it naman if you made a mistake, do it immediate kasi possible madeny if you overclaimed your points

I think there's no more form pa, just edit your EOI.

4. Lodge Visa Application

@grant512 Medyo matagal ang St Lukes magsubmit ng results sa DIBP I think around 1 week.

1. Yes. Mine was 3 months prior sa lodging, pero ang IED ko binase nila sa medical ko so mas matagal..
2. You have to login to your pte account on the pearson website and select the option to submit your results to DIBP. Also, I uploaded a PDF copy of my results.

another question, if hindi magclaim ng points for partner skills, accepted pa rin until now yung certification from school indicating english as medium of instruction? Or required na talaga mag take ng test?
