@omega it depends on your points, visa type (189 or 190) and date of invitation round which is on May 11 and 27. If 65 and above ka, you'll get invited immediately on 11 or 27 depending when you will submit your EOI. If you're a 60pointer, it might take time (a month or two depending on your nominated occupation)

Tanong ko lang po.. si husband po principal applicant and he is ECE grad po and works as electronics technician, pede ko pa ren po ba sha ipa assess as Professional Engineer sa EA? As I understand po eh if ever na Prof Engr ipa asses pede nilang i assess as Technologist lang in case tama po ba?

Another thing po, naguguluhan ako dun sa pathway po sa EA on skills assessment, ano po ba ang pathway dapat pag BS ECE tpos TIP grad? 5-7 yrs exp?

ask lang for similar case. San po ba under ng skills assessment ang planning engineer for construction. I am a civil engineering working with that trade.

@tangentph can still be considered as prof engr depends on your cdr. If your cdr is not up to prof engr, they will recommend it under eng tech.. Im under construction management pero ea assessed as prof engr

@se29m Sa timeline nyo, nagpa assess muna kayo sa VETASSESS then hindi nag match sa nominated skills ung project builder? Afterwards, went to EA? Ganun po ba naging case sa inyo? And sa english nyo muntik na kayo 20 points kasi 79 at least each sa PTE-A. Kasi meron ako IELTS pero 10 points lang. You took both. Seems to me na mas madali ung sa PTE vs IELTS? Thanks in advance sa insights.

@se29m Thanks for the time sa response. Just another thing if I may ask. Nung nakakuha ka ng positive result from EA, 15 points ba na award sa qualification mo as "at least a bachelor degree from an Australian education institution or other degree of a recognized standard" or 10 points as "an award or qualification recognized by the assessing authority in the assessment of the skilled occupation?"

Bachelor degree ba from Phils. highest qualification mo? I have a BS CE from Phils.

Sensya na at still studying to procedure on this visa procedure and checking where I will be getting my points.

tanong ko lang po, kailangan po bang i attached yung Training certificates sa CPD? Nasunugan kasi kami last time at naksama yung mga training documents ko.. Anu po bang pwedeng alternative solution.. Salamat po in advance sa advice.

@loucas_11 just state in one document lahat ng mga trainings, seminars, etc. Be specific na lang sa title ng seminars and if kaya mo, lagyan mo din date and place. sa kin, one page lang CPD. wala naman hinanap na proof.

hi everyone, my agent seems to be subtly suggesting visa 190, but the state with which i prefer to reside at is not included (Victoria for this case; Im for professional engineer). Agent said state sponsorship would hasten my application, though I would like to push through with 189 in Victoria. Any tips po?

@Kellie requirement po na naka atleast 6 ka sa 4 skills, LRSW. then need ipasa ang scanned copy ng results kasama ng assessment mo.

@omega anong nominated occupation mo? alam ko nagpa assess ka sa EA, imo, marami ako nakita na 60 nainvite agad.. take note lang ung occupation ceiling..mas ok kasi if 189

Electronics Engineer here. It is a good thing you mentioned about the ceiling which I checked through here : https://www.acacia-au.com/2015-16-occupational-ceilings-announced.php . Looks positive pa naman hehe! Sana nga mapabilis, 4th day ko ngayon after submitting EOI.
