@wingleaf Pwede pa naman mag-appeal though wala akong experience dun. Ano pala course mo? Baka nagkulang ka sa ICT units na related sa occupation mo. By April 2017, pwede ka na naman mag-claim ng 5pts for work experience. Mababawi mo yung nabawas dahil sa age. For now, mukhang PTE talaga ang makakatulong sayo.

Let's wait for other inputs from more experienced members.

@mav14 - B.S Computer Science, 4 years course. kelangan bumawi sa PTE ng 20pts.. my worry is indi ako ganun kagaling sa English...hays..

@all - pede ba ako mag email sa nag email sakin ng result na pano ako maka claim ng 3 years experience para makakuha ng 5 pts?

@wingleaf bakit 6 years, dapat mga 5 lang yan. try mo email yung CO mo, yung mismo nag send sayo ng result.

@wingleaf kasi AQF associate degree "Major" in computing naman sayo. so dapat 5 years lang yan. Eh ako AQF Diploma. Major in computing, 5 years din babawas nila, eh nagkulang lang din ako ng experience last time.

@pinoycoder la pang reply yung agent ko, daming revisions sa draft letters ko kase mix yung experience ko. Section 3 oo unfortunately

pero di ko mailagay yung first school ko kase nagtransfer ako eh sayang section 1 pa man din ... ikaw din ba?

@Don80 section 3 din pre, sg based ka din ba? sabi sakin ng case officer ko dati. kapag my PRC license, pwede nila i upgrade into AQF Bachelor yung mga section 3 na school, pero syempre sa IT wala naman PRC license.

@wingleaf ung "sure shot" para tumaas at nasa control mo, ay english exam talaga. pwede mo i-appeal, but then again, outside your influence siya. may bayad din ata yun?

@pinoycoder OO pre SG based din... yung certs ko di rin pwede sa requirements lol. waiting din ako for ACS kung anu verdict nila. ang tagal nga eh, yung iba 1-2weeks may reply na agad...

@wingleaf Kung 6 years ang binawas, baka kasi "NOT closely related to the nominated occupation" ang course mo. Baka kasi CS is more on the software side. Pwede naman ata mag-email sa kanila to get an explanation.

@wingleaf hmmm, may certifications ka ba related sa Network? that would help you to get higher assessment. Honestly, nasa section 2 naman ang school mo. Baka ung units mo kc is more on software side kaya ganun ung assessment. Pwede kang mag-appeal and state your reasons. basahin mo ulit guideline ni ACS, baka may mahanap kang butas.

Then, prepare na talaga for PTE.

@wingleaf email mo nalang CO, tanong mo bakit ganyan result. Wala naman bayad. Para alam mo if mag aapeal kaba or hindi. Usually mabilis naman sila magreply. Yung last assessment ko, tinanong ko bakit 'unsuitable', tapos pina assess ulit ni CO sa taga assess. Then sabi nung nag aassess yung reason and other alternative like providing PRC,. Email mo bro para sure. if wala tlaaga. Next step is PTE, madali lang naman yun.

@haunter08 wala pa bro, tagal nga. Hininhintay ko. Yung sayo?

@wingleaf actually pwede ka naman mg reply dun at ask, pero kung yung nga nkalagay na ICT major ka but not closely related, and associate degree ganun pa din yung e re-reply sayo. Unless, you can give further evidence that your units are closely related to your NOC. Yes pwede ka talaga mag inquire, ng-rereply nman yung after 1-2 days.

Sorry guys medyo may dilemma ako. wala akong makita na AQF associate degree sa list nila. is associate degree is same as diploma? and makakakuha ba ako ng 10pts?

and mag 33 na ako this october, if ever maka-kuha na ako ng 60 pts at nag EOI ako ng september counted pa ba as 32 ang age ko na let say na grant ako ng october or november?

10 points pa din kasi as per website:

Australian Diploma or Trade qualifications
You can receive 10 points for an Australian Diploma or Australian trade qualification.
Any other qualification
You can receive 10 points for any other qualification or award which is recognised as suitable for your nominated occupation in your skills assessment by the relevant assessing authority.

Regarding your Age, nasa site din:

You can receive up to 30 points based on the age you were on the day you were invited to apply.

It really depends on the day you get invited, the same as other factors.

@guenb thanks, may idea ka ba kung how many days ang invitation? meron na lang kasi ako 3 months bago ako mag 33.

@wingleaf ilang points ka na? Since puno na yung 2631 na occupation bale July mag reset, but for visa 189 mas malaki ang chance ma invite (twice per month) agad if you have 65-70 pts. Submit ka na lng 190 at 189 then kung anu mag invite agad e grab mu na yun.
