@michel_75 @batman thanks! Ang maaadvise ko din e un maaga ka punta para may time kang kumalma. Tapos ung sa unang part intro urself gumawa na ako ng spiel. Though not scored makakatulong din to sa confidence mo. Nabasa ko lang din tong mga tips na to sa net at un ung mga sinunod ko so here ya go, sana makatulong

SPEAKING: sa read aloud, it's as if i'm talking to somebody in front of me tas ginagalaw ko ung kamay ko parang ngeexplain. I think it sorted out my pacing tska nacontrol nya ung rhythm. Buka din ung mouth ng todo pg ngsasalita para sa enunciation. epektib pramis. Then sa describe image sa mga graphs na hindi ko msyado alam idescribe kunyari may yearly data inisa-isa ko un. If i can't establish a trend, basta diretso lang yung delivery at ung rhythm na parang nakikipagconverse minentain ko. Naalala ko kasi this section is more on oral fluency not much on content. Same goes with the other sections, I refrained from umms and aahs. If u really can't help it, try using other fillers like -so, let's see, this is interesting, let's look at - sparingly. Sa short answer don't forget the articles kunyari ang tanong is it a phone or a ball ung sagot mo a phone din.

WRITING: here i got a free template from the net made by steven fernandes https://www.scribd.com/mobile/doc/297309002/PTE-Essay-Writing-Template1-Steven-Fernandes that i memorized in the bus papunta sa testing center, hehe. Worked great! It optimized the time allotted, i had extra time to think of better words to write like unexpected i used unprecedented, ganern.

READING: i found the internet tips to be effective here kasi medyo dito ako ngbrush up in my preparation. Sa one response - read the question, find the answer, once found, locate in the choices given. Sa multiple response - read the question, read the choices, locate these in the text. Sa jumbled paragraph pag may this, he, they dont use it na sa first sentence (there are rare cases na pwede maging though makikita mo naman pano ginamit

. Pag may years involved, use these to establish chronology naman.

LISTENING: Sa summarize spoken text: close your eyes. Listen. Write important words only. Nung ngpeprep ako triny ko mgsulat ng magsulat. Hindi effective sakin. Drop the examples na babanggitin, just try to get the main idea. Sa highlight incorrect words i used the mouse to follow the words as spoken. Sa typing naman don't forget to capitalize at maglagay ng period.

PREPARATION: i bought the gold kit and answered 5 days and 2 days prior to the exam. I have an offline reviewer din though when i tried to search sa youtube men ang damiii pala dun mga practice test. Hindi ko naubos gawin lahat kasi malapit na exam pero ung PTE Academic pag sinubscribe ay anlaking tulong. Tapos ang gawa ko nung una pg reading, reading lang ng ilang araw. Tas writing naman. Para may continuity ung strategy making. Tas a week before un mgfull practice set na. I used the computer all the time para masimulate ung actual at dun talaga ako pumupwesto sa maingay which helped a lot on the day itself. I think ang wag nyo tutularan na ginawa ko sa prep e ung mgtake notes dun mismo sa laptop. Though if u intend to do it to brush up on ur typing skills naman, by all means, go. I think nakatulong din na i can type without looking so un. Sya nga pala irecord nyo ung sarili nyo sa read aloud - eto ung favorite ko. Dati /TO/ at /banquet/ ang basa ko pero i noticed na sa recording hindi naririnig ung to at ang banquet e hindi naririnig ung dulo - i went to the banquet - parang may blanko. I tried /TSO/ at /baenkwit/ un um-ok na xa. My point is it's ok not to have the accent but make sure na makukuha ng computer ung sound na nirerequire nya.

Napahaba na din ako sorry but i just have to write because i took a lot of tips din from this thread and from you guys kung alam nyo lang. Thank you ng madami.

I sincerely hope we can all ride the train and for those who have gone ahead that they have a smooth ride. Ung mga nakarating na aba e pakiabangan po sana kami at kahit hindi nyo kamag-anak e pwedeng pwede nyo kaming salubungin. Hihi!!

question po ulit. dapat po ba ay mejo lakasan ko ung sound level ng microphone or ung medium level lang po? baka po kasi pag malakas ay mas lalo di maregister at pag mahina ay mas marinig yung sa mga katabi ko.

In my case, hindi ganun kalakas hindi rin ganun kahina. Conversational voice lang. Sabi nga ni @allej ung parang sa call center na loudness lang heheheh

hi, any recommendation?? what software that i can use on my laptop for voice to text recognition... I'm working out on my pronunciation and vocabulary.. free sana and effective.. nafrustrate na ko, feeling ko d narerecognize ni computer and pagenglish ko pero sa oral fluency ok naman...

@Charmgeil0325 - sa reading, mejo bilisan yung pagbabasa and manage your time accordingly.

In addition lang to @Dangee17's useful tips above,

Fill in the blanks - Learn more academic words and collocations.

Reorder paragraph- nakatulong sakin yung strategy ng e2language. Meron silang webinar sa youtube, try to search for it.

Lastly, do practice a lot! Practice is the key!

@Charmgeil0325 Others suggested Talktyper.com. On my Android, I used Evernote. You may search pa din what works best. I don't entirely suggest using a speech-to-text app kasi waste of time for me, but it might help if you want to gauge kung recognizable yung voice mo on a machine. Keep practicing! @Charmgeil0325 di rin ako gumamit ng voice to txt app. Na-advice na din kasi ni sis @mrkanncpa na waste of time lang sya. What i did is, i record my voice, listen to it, and sometimes i ask my hubby to listen too. Pag naiintindihan naman namin yung sinasabi ko, i think magegets ka rin ng pc.

@Charmgeil0325 Ok lang mag dagdag ng payo sa speaking? hehe.. Try to speak in a more strict manner. Say the words firmly. Ako kasi noon, may pagkamalambot magsalita, parang pa-cute pag nag english. Eto lang binago ko na technique, and it worked great. Tsaka make sure, when you say the word, yung last syllable dinig talaga. Enunciate clearly.

Hello po ulit! Baka lang po may magtatake ng PTE sa inyo dito sa Australia, may voucher po ako na hindi nagamit, $297 nalang po instead of $330 yung magiging bayad sa PTE. Sayang naman po kasi di ko na magagamit.

@michel_75 Hi, sorry sa late reply. Yung Evernote, just tap the mic on the app's interface and speak to it. I used my earphone's mic when I recorded my voice para mas macapture nung app.
