Hello everyone! Newbie here. So I got IELTS result but with score above 7 except 6.5 in speaking. Anyone who can advise me for my next step? I'm kinda lost here. Can I lodge a request for assessment with that result and take another ielts before I can begin any process?

@australianwannabe No. Ayusin mo muna IELTS mo. Tutal speaking naman 6.5 mo, try getting a remark on your speaking.

@aireen currently 489 visa last na invite ay mga nag apply as of Oct 25 with 60 points. If I understand correctly lhat ng above 60 points ma iinvite by next round which is sa November 23. Kelan ka ba nag EOI?

hi @batman last oct 16 aq nag EOI..thru agent.. Hindi din kasi xa nag email sa akin.., if ever thru agent ka, pwede ba ma view ang EOI? or kailangan si agent lng? thanks much.

@jhun2384 Ako di ako nakapagsubmit kasi wala naman dun sa checklist na isesend nila once magbayad ka. I think some here send a resume nadin. Yes, okay lang na iba na company nila.

hi @batman, unfortunately hindi daw pwede.. pahirapan talaga mainvite pag accountant.. im thinking na mag PTE for 20 pts para 75pts na din ang 189 q..baka sakali.. :-S .. anyways, thank u very much..

@batman : thanks for the reply! yep, I could get a JD for both of those kaya nga confused ako which one pa-assess... but since I didn't get my desired IELTS score yet, I have to put to skills assessment on hold again... wait, can I push through with skills assessment even with my undesirable IELTS score in the meantime? Also, how did you qualify as an Asso member of CPAA, is it just about membership payment? Thanks a lot in advance for your words, God bless!

@pcasing ano score mo sa IELTS? If may below 7 ka don't push it. try PTE Acad or remark.

@tamsiismat : 7 sa tatlo except R, 6.5 lan eh. I took up the exam from IDP, I'm thinking to try again with BC. I can't risk to review again using another method of testing (PTE), prang too much in my head na kaya I'll stick with IELTS siguro. thanks sa advise anyway!

@pcasing : Hi, thanks sa reply. Actually, I asked for it na sa school, but made a mistake na accounting subjects lang hiningi ko. So I submitted it for evaluation, and was asked to provide the detailed syllabus for the rest. Pwede ba ako pasend ng copy mo? I am willing to pay naman, ayaw ko na lang sana ulit maghintay, it took them 2 months to send it to me last time..

@pcasing try to know the process of PTE it will just take few hours so I f you think too much for you ang transition from IELTS and PTE then stick sa IELTS. It has been observed based on comments ng mga both takers ng exams mas madali makuha ang desired score sa PTE. of course sayo pa din desisyon at the end of the day. good luck!

@Raegon : naku wala pa ko, mukang nauna ka saken mag-arrange ng stuff eh. next week pa lang ako punta to ask for both syllabus and subj description (tinawag ko kc pra iready na kaso need daw pumunta dun to offically request).. anyway, if I get to receive it anytime soon, yeah will share.

@jillpot Is it a lot easier than IELTS? Like if IELTS is 10 out 10 how do you rate PTE?

@australianwannabe yeah, pero kung confident ka naman sa performance mo, why not. Nagparemark ako ng writing ko from 6.5 it was changed to 7.

@pcasing weigh your options muna. tama ung sabi ni sir batman na madami dito nakakuha ng positive results sa PTE.
