Hi, need ko lang ng advise kung paano magapply sa Australia.
eto po qualifications ko; may relatives ako sa Australia na willing magbigay ng sponsor pero gusto ko lang hingi ng advise if ever ako magprocess on my own/independent. ano requirements at 1st step.

see below my qualifications:
1. I have relatives in Sydney and Melbourne (uncle)
2. age band score 25
3. ielts - not yet taken (required ba kumuha agad ng ielts agad?)
4. licensed architect in Philippines
5. Exp in Philippines - 4yrs
6. Overseas experience dubai - almost 9yrs
6. not yet married
7. present work less than a yr- freelance architect at part owner design+build+sell

please advise, thanks in advance:)

So I decided to take the plunge. Paid 810Aud for the assessment. It's been 1 year in the making. Pero habang papalapit primary 1 ng anak ko we need a backup plan kasi hangang ngayon Di approve ang PR nya. Hopefully positive assessment as Archi Draftsman and sana open pa once na approve. Pd din ako pa assess as Const project manager kasi for the past 2 years un ang trabaho ko. Asst project supervisor. I just felt I have better chance of approval as arch draftsman pero kunti Lang na open state ngayon.

Goodluck sa assessment! Just pray for it, pati na din na sana may mga state na mag-open na mas madaling pasukin.

@bob88 hello! Kamusta ang gathering ng docs? Nung nagpa-assess kami, hindi na pinaCTC samin ng agent yung payslips. May murang CTC dito sa Singapore. Dun sa Adelphi da may city hall. Dun usually nagpapaCTC karamihan kay Mr Andrew Ee. Pero he retired na and may pumalit, si Janice Lim. Same office and rates naman daw. May mga docs akong napaCTC before kapag multiple pages yung document, $5 lang yung front page then succeeding pages $2 lang.

Hi! kumpleto na documents ko and I have filled out my form. Di na ako nagpa CTC ng payslips just like what the others did. I plan to send it in the following days. However, a few things are holding me back.

1) Some states require you to indicate in the EOI that you prefer them above other states. Meaning on your EOI you only need to tick that particular state. Sa Vetassess form, there is this same question. Should the states in the VETASSESS form and EOI forms match/tally?

Gusto ko kasi gamitin yung VETASSESS results (should it be "positive") for EOI application to other states should there be a new openings in other state around 2nd half of 2017. Wala akong makita sa forums about this query.

2) Proof of funds. Kelangan magresearch pa ako onti kung magkano required funds mo bago ka matanggap sa particular state. Each state has their own fund requirement afaik.

@bob88 hello! Sorry sa late rep...

With regards dun sa EOI and vetassess forms, hindi ko makita sa email ko yung form. Nalost ko yata somewhere dahil sa dami ng email exchange namin ng agent. Yung agent namin ang nagfill-up kaya hindi ako makabigay ng concrete na answer. Meron bang option na any state? Parang ganyan yata yung pinili ni agent para samin before. I think ok lang kahit magkaiba yung sa form and sa eoi. Kasi kami after mareceive yung assessment from vetassess, paiba-iba din kami ng state nun sa eoi. Depende kung san magbubukas. And parang wala naman akong natatandaan na may nakaindicate na state sa outcome letter. Research mo yung vetassess outcome letter sa google, makikita mo yung samples, wala naman nakaspecify.

Yes. Diff state, diff proof of funds. Sa QLD nung time na nag-aapply kami, AUD45K for a family of 3. Pero ang kailangan mo lang ng proof is cash amount of AUD15K. The rest, declaration lang. But of course, hindi ka pwede magoverdeclare para in case hanapan ka ng proof, may mapapakita ka pa din.

Kung gustong-gustong-gusto mo matuloy sa Australia, kayang-kaya mo lampasan yung mga bagay that are holding you back. Hindi madali ang buong process, tedious and nakakakaba talaga. Pero sa tiyaga and dasal, kayang-kaya yan!

No worries. Thanks for the help. Ipapasa ko na sa VETASSESS for full assessment. May nagreply sa 190 visa thread sakin na di daw lumalabas sa result ng VETASSESS yung state na pinili mo, and I googled some images of positive outcome letters, wala nga naman. So tick ko na lang lahat. If I'm fortunate to get a positive outcome, gagamitin ko na lang siya sa available states, come July or August if ever magrelease ng bagong CSOL and still available pa ang archi draftsperson (hopefully). Currently open pa sa ACT and Tasmania, pero 12 wks minimum pa yung assessment outcome. So baka sa next batch na ako magapply. If makahabol sa ACT, then I'll try my luck. Dasal lang.

Btw, sa payment options, kelangan ba hardcopy piliin ko, or electronic outcome (softcopy) will do? May additional 106 AUD kasi pag hardcopy. Kasi kung ok naman na PDF, I'll just save the $. If you have any idea. Thanks.

@bob88 ay sorry, wala talaga akong idea about that kasi si agent nag-asikaso nung samin. We sent her the hard copy of all the documents, di ko lang alam kung yun talaga ang sinubmit niya because she didn't charge us anything extra from the original vetassess fee.

I see. What I meant is kung ang natanggap mo na result is softcopy lang. May option kasi na sila na magpprint, then express courier something. But if I can print it on my own, easier, and less waiting time. Anyway, piliin ko na lang softcopy. Thanks a lot!

@bob88 wala kami hardcopy, di ko lang alam if may nareceive si agent. Pero all throughout our application, yung soft copy lang meron kami. Yung softcopy lang din ang kadalasan ginagamit kasi lahat ng docs kailangan i-upload. So I guess, best bet na yung soft copy so you don't need to spend extra.

Degree and Licensed) and currently taking a Master in Design here in Sydney, since I wanted to focus on Interiors and with my previous experience on Interior Projects abroad (Design, Documentation and FF&E Specification) so I'm opting for an Interior Designer assessment. Do you think this is possible with my Architecture degree and license?

I logged my submission to VETASSESS last 19 April 2017, and just received the outcome today. Positive. Antay na lang ng opening sa mga states, hopefully magkaroon soon. To everyone, thanks to all your help/ tips/ advices.

Start na ng pag-collect ng job ads for ACT SS nomination if ever magbukas sa july. Problem lang is ang konti ng mga post na may arki draftsperson. Baka may mga advice po kayo jan kung ano mga job ads na pwede gamitin aside from having the keywords architectural draftsperson/documenter.

yung nominated occupation is for the sole purpose of migration lang. once granted visa, you can apply for any type of job in australia as long as qualified ka and mahire ka walang prob.

@kpantig18 mali, visa 190 lang din pwede sa building associate. ang dahilan kaya nagpapaassess ulit as building associate kasi walang open na state ngayon para magsponsor sa arki draft.
