Newbie here, ngayon ko lng po na discover itong forum na to. Very helpful at andaming nag rereply tlaga. More power guys!
- May tanong lng po ako about sa EOI points, what if 25 years old ako, may IELTS band ako no lower than 8, BSECE, nominated occupation ko ay 263111 pero 2 yr exp lang. and may asawa ako na may 2 yrs exp sa same field din. basically ang points ko ay 30+ 20+ 15 + 5
malaki po ba ang chance ko na makakuha ng invitation kahit 2 yr exp lang ako? i am applying for 189 visa po.
Thank you and God Bless!

I would just like to seek clarification because Im a bit confused with the required points for Visa 189. I plotted points on various sites listed below and it says there that I reached 60 points and that I am eligible to apply for migration.
http://www.workpermit.com/immigration/australia/australia-skilled-immigration-points-calculator
http://www.harriswake.com/skillselectpointscalculator
http://isa.com.au/immigration-and-visa-services/skilled-migration-points-calculator/
https://www.mygration.com.au/skilled-congratulations/
https://www.acacia-au.com/skilled-migration-points-test.php
https://www.immiaustralia.com.au/visas/skilled-migration-point-test/
My point breakdown are as follows:
Age: 33-39 (25)
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree (15)
Overseas Work Experience: 8 years or more (15)
Australian Work Experience: 1 year ( 5)
Total: (60)
I also checked the site below and it says 60 points:
https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/189-#tab-content-3
I guess my main point of clarification is if 60 points is the current MINIMUM POINTS (as of April 2017) required to apply for EOI. Or are the sites stated above have outdated information? I just want to make sure that I have a legit chance for migration before I invest my hard earned savings into this process.
Thanks and hoping for a favorable response!

so if ever man po mag bawas sila, meaning magiging 0 year exp ako? and also, kahit magbawas sila wala din naman ako talagang points makukuha sa overseas occupation exp kasi less than 3 yrs ang exp ko.

Upon further research, if I'll apply as an ICT Business Analyst, the score ceiling varies due to the high number of applicants. The site's explanation for this is:
"Due to high levels of demand, and in keeping with previous years, the below occupation groups will be subject to pro rata arrangements to ensure availability of invitations across the programme year. SkillSelect first allocates available places to Skilled – Independent visas (subclass 189) and then the remaining to Skilled – Regional (Provisional) visas (subclass 489). If all places are taken up by subclass 189 visas then there will be no invitations issued for subclass 489 visas in these occupations.
Accountants
Auditors, Company Secretaries and Corporate Treasurers
Electronics Engineers
Industrial, Mechanical and Production Engineers
Other Engineering Professionals
ICT Business and System Analysts
Software and Applications Programmers
Computer Network Professionals"

After understanding all of this and considering the huge investment my wife and I will put out, we decided to instead pursue PR in New Zealand as we have a bigger chance there when all things are considered compared to AU.
Thank you everyone for the help and insight! Good luck to those pursuing the dream, and pray for us as well.

EDITED
Maraming salamat!

Good day po!.
Right now nag request po ako ng new COE para lang ma prove na employed parin sa same company and to claim additional 5 points for work experience.

tama po ba na blank kasi currently employed pa in the same company and need mag upload ng new Certificate of Employment from HR namin.
Kinumpleto ko po muna lahat ng requirements before mag EOI (done na po ako sa assessment, nag vetasses po ako for points test advisory (dahil accounting major po ako, pero 95% ng work experience ko is ICT related and done narin po ako sa English proficiency exam)
