@osss next year i think chemical engineer is not on the MLTSO(previously SOL)...

i think its better to be assessed as Chemical Engineering Technologist ANZSCO 233914...

as early as now if you can have the assessment much better, so you can lodge your EOI and have your invitation by July...

@osss sorry namali, last time i checked parang d sya included..... anyway for your reference, here is the list of the removed occupation on the SOL next year,

the new list will be called MLTSOL....

@MikeYanbu I checked border.gov.au, nandoon pa naman ang chemical engineer sa MLTSSL. Is that the list for next year? Every year ba sila nagpapalit ng list? And tuwing july lang ba nagiinvite?

@osss July ang official list, at reset ng Quota lalo na sa pro rata... kaya pag nakapag eoi na as early as possible malaki ang chance ma invite pag reset ng quota...

@MikeYanbu Ah okay, thank you. Dapat talaga matapos ko na cdr ASAP. Btw, why did you suggest that I be assessed as chemical engineer technologist? Is it because I work as a chemist? If for example, I chose professional sa occupation category nila, hindi ba nila ako iaaassign dun na technologist category? Meaning negative na agad yung assessment ko?

@osss d naman it depends on how you address the key elements in your CDRs, pa assess ka as PE kung d uubra sila mismo suggest sa yon nyan na Engineering Technologist ang award nila sa yo.

in my case nag derecho ako sa engineering technologist, By God's grace nakapasa naman heto 4 months waiting for the grant nga lang, hehe

@osss nope, pag medyo nabitin ka yata sa PE automatic suggest nila Engineering Technologist, otherwise paparevise nila sa yo ang CDR mo kung bitin at kung ayaw mo ng Eng Tech, d negative ang ward, hehe

guys, anyone here na naging under a manpower company or naging outsourced employee?

I was hired by a Telco company in Kuwait, then sila na mismo nag-assign ng manpower company para sa sponsorship ng visa ko. This means na outsourced employee ako at ndi nagwowork directly under that telco company. Kaya nung nanghingi ako ng CoE/Job Description kay telco company, ni-redirect ako kay manpower. But then, generic CoE lang ang binigay sakin ni manpower. So ang ginawa ko eh dun ako sa previous telco co. supervisor ako nanghingi ng Job Description (which he provided naman with official letterhead).

Do you think EA will honor this? 2 different sources ng docs ko? Naka-indicate naman dun sa CoE from manpower na I worked for that specific telco co.

Though medyo late na ung inquiry ko kasi nakapagsubmit nko ng assessment kay EA, waiting lang ng outcome. Gusto ko lang maiready if ever manghingi ng additional supporting docs.

Hello po, bka naman po my template kau ng stat.declaration. Ayaw po kcng magbigay ung ex.company ko. So, balak ko sa supervisor na lang ako magpapapirma...or pwede din po ba sa team leader?

Hello everyone.

Graduate po ang husband ko ng Mechanical Engineering pero dahil ang work experiences nya is more on the manufacturing ngpaassess po cya sa Engineering Australia as Production or Plant Engineer. Positive naman po ang outcome ng assessment nya as Production or Plant Engineer na lumabas last March 2017.

Nagapply po cya for visa 190 sa NSW after makuha yung outcome ng assessment. Kaso po dahil nawala ang Production or Plant Engineer sa list ng occupation for State Nomination ng NSW last April 2017, di na po cya qualified mgapply for 190.

Wala po band magiging problema sa Engineering Australia kung mgpareassess ulit cya as Mechanical Engineer naman this time para nasa list parin (most likely) ang occupation (Mechanical Engineer) for FY 2017-2018 both visa 189 or 190? Related naman din po sa mechanical engineering ang work nya.

Wala na po kc sa 190 and alanganin din sa 189 ang Production or Plant engineer dahil nakaflagged po for removal sa next fiscal year.

Please advise po. Salamat

Hello EA thread. Medyo naging busy ako lately. Just to add up, based on my observation. If confident kayo sa years of exp. nyo, wag na kayo magpa RSEA.. sayang ang additional fee. Kasi in the end Immigration parin magapprove/accept nang years of exp. nyo.
But if may budget ka naman at sigurista ka... Just go for the relevant skills assessment para walang sisihan.. :-) :-) :-)

@lgl214 I guess walang magiging problema kung magpapa assess ulit, provided na ibang career episodes ang isusubmit nyo and such career episodes will be relevant to mechanical engineering. Flagged din yung Mechanical Engineer sa pagkakaalam ko, although open pa din sya for Visa 190 on some states. If nagmamadali ka and ayaw mo itake ang chance na mawawala sa July yung Production or Plant Engineer at, go for it, pero since they're both flagged, if Production or Plant Engineer goes out the door, sabay ang Mechanical Engineer imho. Pero, weigh your chances of getting an invite din for Visa 190, research if may grants pa ding nabibigay yung mga states for the profession.

One more thing pa pala, if magpapa assess kayo ulit, that's another month(give or take) of waiting for EA's verdict kahit fast track. The updated MLTSSL for FY2017-2018 will be announced this May, baka mauna pa yun kesa sa results nyo. If it were me, hihintayin ko yung updated MLTSSL, tapos kung mawala yung Production or Plant Engineer dun ako papa assess as Mechanical. Invites are sent out July pa naman so may time ka para makakuha ng results if nagsubmit ka ng EA application after the MLTSSL is updated, kailangan nga lang na prepared na din new CDRs mo. Pero, that's just me

I helped my office friends na isulat yung sa ACS nila. Baka sakaling makatulong sau ito.. Ito yung ginawa ko sa JD nila.

@joysee sa MSA indicated na kailngan meron, usually sa standard company letter head may generic email address if ever wala maybe try mo magrequest HR nyo to indicate yung email address ng authorized signatory

Yung sa Singtel ko walang email at contact number ng former director ko. Pirma nya lang with his title. Pero nakaprint cya sa company letter then may generic na contact details for the whole Singtel group below. I added din yung COE from HR. So meron akong JD at COE sa isang PDF.

Hi guys, question, for Telecoms Engineer ceiling na ang requirments nila for Skilled tama ba? nakita ko kasi sa ANZSCO 1000 lang requirements nila then nasa 951 na +61. Ano mangyayari kapag napuno na?

@macman Dude it will reset in July, provided your nominated skill remains on the updated MLTSSL. Malakas ang chance na andyan pa rin yung Telecoms Engineer since wala naman sya sa mga flagged occupations. Ensure you have all necessary requirements then lodge an EOI, come July you should get an invite. Good luck!

@macman San mo nakita ung +61? Same pala tayo ng case. tinatry ko humabol mag EOI before mapuno ung ceiling or before mag July (which ever comes first). Kaso mukhang mapupuno na nga. Waiting pa ko ng results ko from EA.

April 26, 2017 - Received POSITIVE outcome for ANZSCO 233914 Engineering Technologist AQF Bachelors Degree with 5years and 10 months relevant experience.

*I guess nagkaissue na magkaiba ung nasa COE and contract ko as compared sa nasa SPass ko, I forwarded the explanation of my HR na hindi daw kasi updated ung spass.

*P.S.

Ung Employment 2 ko, wala akong detailed COE, kasi ayaw magbigay nung HR namin, kesyo ok na daw ung normal na inissue sakin before, inattach ko nlng yun together with the appointment letter(conversion from contract to perm) with all the details na may "duties" pero di nakaspecify ung actual duties+spass copy. Then while waiting for the outcome, suddenly I decided to contact my former supervisor and arranged for the statutory declaration para maihabol. Had the stat decl notarized last 4-Apr-2017 and emailed it to EA within the same day to append the document to my application. Luckily, that was worth the shot, it was counted. Buti tinry ko ihabol.

I've been trying to figure out bakit di nacount itong latest/current work ko, eh parang eto na nga ang most relevant eh as compared to my previous employments. Upon showing it to @sanseb2016 , napansin nya na wala palang number of hours per week ung detailed COE ko sa employment4... :-O di ko napansin before.

I decided din agad to send an email to my HR to request a new one and include the number of hours, para magamit ko for future application. Though it was not counted as relevant by EA for an unknown reason(baka nga dahil dito), I will tick it as relevant sa EOI once I get my updated COE para sa additional 2 years and 6 months, so magtotal na ng 8+ years. Additional 5 points din yun. Hoping for the best. [-O<

As for your question, I think with reference to my case, i think need talaga ng number of hours per week kasi nakaspecify talaga siya sa requirements, hindi ko lang napansin na wala pala ung naissue sakin.

Meron akong COE na isa pa na walang number of hours pero nacount naman, PERO, di siya kasali sa mga career episodes ko.

Since magrerequest ka naman na ng another COE, make sure na andun na lahat ng details na kailangan para di na magkaissue in the future.

Agree ako kay @kuya.king since magrerequest k namn ulit ng bago at wala namang probelma s HR nyo mas ok pag halos lahat ng details na nabanggit MSA ma comply para mas sure
