    @ray1188 haha tama June. updated na. 5 employers ko for a total of 12 years-ish exp pero ang na credit lang sakin is 10years 1month, although hindi ko sinama yung 1st employer ko kasi hindi naman talaga related yung trabaho ko dun sa nominated skill ko.

    Hello po. I just want to ask for your inputs po. I am planning to apply for skilled visa and I am planning for skills assessment under ACS. I just want to clarify something po:

    1) Hindi pa naman po required yung IELTS or PTE results sa ACS, sa actual application nalang po ng visa, tama po ba?
    2) These are the following requirements based on my understanding:
    -Certified Copy of Birth Certificate
    -Certified true copy of diploma
    - Certified true copy of TOR
    (By saying certified, do I need na ipa-red ribbon sa DFA po?)
    - Employment preferences.

    @jamiePH tama po no need pa yung enlish test for ACS assessment.

    no need for red ribbon basta may tatak lang lahat na certified true copy including employment references. also you need to indicate the complete job details of all your employment certificates.

    Guys sino na dito nakapag pa update ng result ng ACS nila? Yung assessment kasi sakin nong March e 4 yrs and 9mos lang unsuitable 5yrs kasi need ko. This June 5yrs na gusto ko sana pa update para suitable na result.Same company parin naman.

    By the way hindi ko alam kung ano tama term kung update/review/new application ba.

    @ray1188 ACS website states that processesing time takes about 12 weeks. From my experience in handling cases, most take close to 12 weeks, perhaps average 10 weeks. On occasions, even earlier. It's just really hard to to tell exactly how long it will take pero just assume na lang na your waiting time is within 12 weeks on the safe side. Unfortunately, once applications are lodged, all we could do is wait. ACS is always prompt naman e. In fact, they're one of those I like dealing with. Good luck!

    @ray1188 I submitted mine last May 31 and got the response on June 12th (around lunch time I think). Once nag 4B stage ka na, wait lang siguro ng mga 1-2 days then you will have the results already. That was based from my experience. Though 1 employer lang ako for my 9 yrs experience.

    @jamiePH No need for IELTS or PTE exams pa. Though ako kasi nagpasched na para mabilis ang process. Once nakapasa na sa ACS and PTE, pwede na kasi maglodge ng EOI. Habol ko kasi makapaglodge ng EOI before magstart ung refresh sa DIBP.

    Also, CTC lang need sa bawat document. Dapat din may tatak ung bawat page ng document mo. i.e., yung TOR mo dapat may tatak na certified true copy yung bawat page nya.

    Hey guys, I'm torn with my Expression of Interest.

    So, I'm about to claim 65 points for visa 189. I have:
    Age - 30 points
    English - 20 points
    Education - 15 points
    (no points for experience because <3 years after deducting skill level met requirement)

    So I filled up the EoI on SkillSelect. On the last page though, it says I have 70 points for 189, probably because it did not deduct the years of experience when I entered my employment details.

    Should I proceed with this, or just delete the employment details? I'm concerned they will reject this. I did not claim the 70 points myself though, the system did.

    @YoungJebediah what I did was I tagged the years deducted by ACS as not relevant. Para lang consistent ang ACS sa EOI and walang risk mag overclaim ng points.

    @YoungJebediah still waiting for a grant, pero meron kasi ako nababasa na nadedeny dahil hindi consistent yung claimed pts nila sa assessment ng ACS. Sa mismong visa application form itatanong ulit yan. Basta lang maging consistent sa lahat.

    @silverblacksoldier @YoungJebediah actually you really have to declare the experience/s before the skill requirement level met date as not relevant sa EOI mo kasi ang bilang lang talaga ng skilled employment for points is yung after ng met date. most nga daw ng nagdeny for visa is because of overclaiming ng points sa EOI.

    Hi Brader. I just came back from my visa application hiatus since na reach na yung quoata sa nominated skill naten.

    I think pareho tyo Computer network and systems. I need 20pts din sa PTE to get 70.

    Any idea bro kung kelan ma refresh yung quota sa nominated skill naten? TY.

    @YoungJebediah you need to correct this. You shouldn't claim any points on employment since as you mentioned you can't. You need to be careful on whatever you claim in the EOI stage as whatever info you provide there must match the info you provide when you lodge your visa application.
