@kristinejuvel hi sis, namessage ko ang recording. Laking factor yata na hindi ako kinabahan sis kaya naapply ko effectively mga strategies here at namemorize by heart ang templates. 1 month din akong nagfocus nito. Thanks sis.

Hi guys. I just want to share yung experience ko sa speaking section ng PTE. Medyo mahaba pero gusto ko lang tumulong sa mga nag sstruggle sa speaking katulad ko.

First take = 44 (position ng mic ko is halos nasa tapat ng nose ko. Hindi rin ako confident sa repeat sentence ko dito so medyo tanggap ko score ko)

Second take = 66 ( nose level pa din ang position ng mic pero mas confident na ako at may templates na akong ginamit)

Third take = 59 (yung mic position tnry ko sa lower lip at super memorize ko na templates so medyo disappointed ako kasi feeling ko talaga mataas na makukuha ko. At that time may technical glitch din ang pearson so nag email ako sakanila and asked kung naka affect ba yun sa score ko. And here's their reply:

As a feedback, we can definitely request you to practice more and more so that you get your confidence back and attempt the exam for one last time. While attempting the speaking section, make sure you place the microphones parallel to your mouth keeping a distance of 3 inches. Maintain a normal intonation and we are sure you will excel. PTE does not provide a detailed scorecard to its candidates.

Fourth take = 90 (finally!!!! Sinunod ko yung advice ng pearson na katapat halos ng mouth pero medyo malayo. Nagtest din ako ng mic ng sobrang tagal para ma differentiate ko lahat ng position. Tsaka sa read aloud dapat po mabilis talaga magbasa and palaban. Kung paano kayo kabilis magsalita sa read aloud dapat consistent sa describe image at retell lecture. Napansin ko na laging mababa ako sa pronunciation so sa oral fluency ko talaga binawi.)

I hope this will help. Im not yet done with my PTE journey because of reading part. Sana maka 79 na next exam. Push lang! At least sa speaking medyo gamay ko na. Thank you @lottysatty sa tips mo sa reading.

Wow! Thanks @ara! Try ko yang tip mo kasi ang baba ko din sa speaking. 55 lang nakuha ko tapos the rest 69+. Nung nag-exam kasi ako at dahil first time ko, diko alam san ko ba dapat ilagay yung mic ko kasi nabasa ko dito na dapat daw between nose and upper lip. Pagdating ko sa exam nakita ko ang recommended ni PTE eh sa below lower lip ata un. Kaya undecided ako pero ginawa ko yung between nose at upper lip. Pero yun nga, ang baba ng OF ko at PRON. pero kinabahan din talaga ako nun at na-intimidate ako sa mga kasabayan ko sa exam room. Kaya parang humina boses ako at nag-stutter ako. Try ko yang tip mo sa next exam ko. Hopefully makuha na ang superior. Need ko din talaga ang 20pts.

Hi guys just got home. My first PTE exam was challenging to say the least haha! Grabe pala talaga pag nagstart na ang speaking. Sabay sabay talaga. Pinakanahirapan ako sa reading part e. Hindi ganun ka common yung words na lumabas sa questions e. Sana magsend na sila agad ng results tomorrow

All the best sa mga nag aantay ng result.

Yung mga kumuha ng umaga, normally ngayon meron ng result. Yung tanghali at hapon, bukas ng hapon between 3-4pm.

Ano oras ka nag take? Nag rerelease din sila ng result pag 2am-3am or umaga mga 6am ata. Hehe
