@minelliespiritu - I think oks lang na kahit 3 paragraphs, as long as you addressed all the prompts. Mas importante po ang quality nung writing based po sa mga nababasa kong comments ng mga naka 90 sa writing

@chandria - Yup, separate timers for summarize written texts and essays. Focus ka lagi sa upper right hand corner, nandoon yung timer and kung ilang items sasagutan mo within that given time

Need to practice Repeat Sentence and Retell Lecture. Dito ako medyo nahihirapan sa speaking.

May question lng po ako
Describe Image: may format po ako na gagamitin. Okay lng po ba na yung mismong words sa graph ang basahin ko or dapat iparaphrase ko yung title?
Retell Lecture: may format din ako nagagamitin galing sa forum na to. Okay lng din po ba prang halos yung actual na sinabi ng speaker ang gamitin ko?

magbabasa na lang ako about the topics para may idea ako. Kinakabahan ako baka mapatapat ako sa hindi ko alam. Weakness ko kasi talaga ang writing.

Guys, just wanna share some of the essay topics that you may encounter in the actual PTE test.

1. Useful functions of television - dalawang beses umulit itong topic nato sakin.
2. In the past 100 years, there have been many inventions such as antibiotics, airplanes, and computers. What do you think is the most important of them and why?
3. What do you think is the most pressing issue the world has today and why? (Pang Ms Universe!)
4. Advantages and disadvantages of information revolution.
5. Advantages and disadvantages of ageing population.

I used E2 language format in writing. Don't forget to use synonyms and complex sentences. Good luck and God bless!

nka 2x ako sa PTE pero sablay sa speaking (pronunciation, oral fluency)....
ok na lahat ko pero sa speaking hindi ko alam bakit bagsak...

Basically, speed, louder voice, less pauses and mastery of the template. Might not work for everyone, but worked for me and maybe for others who have the same voice as me.

Hi po nag take po ako ng exam today.. hindi ko po natapos ang write from dictation.. how will it affect my score po? Possible pa po ba makakuha ng 65?

Kakatapos ko lang po ng exam kanina. Naka 230 words naman po ako sa writing. Kaso sa writing dictation may namiss ako na isang item. Hopefully mapasa ko pa din lahat. Thanks po dito sa forum malaking tulong po talaga

Weak area ko is comprehension speed and vocabulary which are critical sa Reading and Listening. Yung Speaking and Writing, I found the best approach that works for me and Reading/Listing in progress pa rin. Kailan mg experiment which approaches effective sa inyo.

Added materials and guides;
1. College comprehension textbooks.
2. Official BC IELTS books for reading and listening portion.
3. PTE collocation list( Try to compose a sentence for different collocation under different subjects.)
4. Back to basics, review English grammar, sentence structure, and able to identify easily parts of speech.
5. Practice summarize passages/articles/podcast using 5W1H outline for 2-5mins time.
6. Sa speaking, serious practice ko dito, dahil front teeth ko is artificial. hehe. Find a place to vocalize, or mag video karaoke a lot (preferred fast songs) and strictly apply proper pronunciation and breathing.

-Cardio exercise. Helps improve proper voice projection.

hello.. confirm ko lang po sa Repeat Sentence. tama po bang there's no gap between the prompt and the recording? so wala ka pong time i-construct yung isasagot mo.
