@spyware hi, pwede pa din nmn na sumunod na lang kau ng kids mo sa hubby mo. it depends sa plano nyo at sitwasyon. iba kc kpg may kids na involved especially kung di agad makakita ng work. yun nga lang mejo made-delay ng konti ung application nyo ng 887.

@Au_Vic True, for me mahirap kung sabay2x kasama mga kids. baka hintay nalng muna kahit for a few mos. lang para sumunod.

@daye00 489 family sponsor can have long wait times depending sa occupation. sa 489 FS kasi mapupunta yung sobrang slots na di nagamit sa 189 kung mangyayari yun. By the trend nowadays malabo mainvite sa 489 lalo na sa occupations such as engineering, IT, accountancy.

@MLBS i tried to lodge 489(fam) sa victoria and got my invitation in just 2 weeks po pero naghihingi din ako advice sa kabilang forum if ilodge ko na ung 489. Actually nauna pa siya sa 190 NSW EOI ko. Until now wala pa ako feedback sa status ng 190 ko one month ko na inaantay

@jomar011888 Ano po ba occupation nyo sir? Maybe hindi sya pro rata kaya mabilis kayo nainvite. Think about the 489 carefully sir. Many people here would do anything just to get an invite regardless kung anong visa type yan. Good thing na meron na kayong invite asap

@MLBS electrical engr po, tama po kau nanghingi nga ako ng advice sa kabilang forum kasi undecided pa ako if i will lodge the 489 visa after receiving the ITA. May pending 190 pa ako and also considering the PTE para eligible for 189 pero nakikita ko nga at base sa advice ng mga kabayan natin to grab this 489 sayang ang chance kasi hanggang dec 3 pa valid ang Invitation letter ko...

Hello, share ko lang experience namen. Lodged our application for 887 visa last week of July,then granted na yesterday 25/08 lang. Basta complete ang documents submitted nio mabilis lang ang approval. Best of luck sa mga mag aapply

Hi all! Tanong lang po. Once you lodge your application for 887, will you automatically receive a bridging visa? Or will you wait for them to issue one?

hi all question lang po if ever ma grant ung 489 visa namin ng wife ko (my wife is my dependent) what if mabuntis si wife habang naka 489 visa kami sa ausi...wala naman ba magiging kaso ung future baby namin? i mean i aapply lang din ba siya ng visa 489 as my dependent once ipinanganak siya? TIA

we arrive here in au under visa 489. my partner is primary then dependent ako. we are not married pa po noon. but then we got married last August, do i need to do anything s immigration? need ko ba ipachange ung application ko or need ko ba inotify cla n chnage of status? Thank so much po!

Hi! 489 visa holder din kami ng family ko. May nakausap kasi ako na need daw magsubmit ng form like change of circumstance sa immig everytime magpapalit ng address. Meron ba dito na 489 visa holder na nakagawa na nun? Anong specific form yung ginamit niyo and saan siya dapat ipadala? Super thanks po sa sasagot.

Visa 190 ako ng NSW, everytime na magpapalit ako ng address or contact details, nagsesend ako nung Update Information Request form sa kanila. You can search dun sa website ng sponsoring regional area mo kung anong form dapat yung gamitin.

Sir @Au_Vic & mga kabs, baka may idea kayo about this:
"dependents and partners who hold a skilled visa and meet all other eligibility criteria can apply for subclass 887 as main applicant"
-YUNG PARTNER AS MAIN APPLICANT, pwede po pala..
Does this mean that my spouse, as a 489 visa holder, may apply for 887 on his own?
Heto po kasi yung initial plan namin:
1. BM to Adelaide January2018, pero ako lng po muna maiiwan at makikipagsapalaran sa SA, balik muna si husband sa pinas after 1 month to settle few things. Maybe after 6 mos. or 1 yr, saka pa sya balik SA for good.
2. Ako nmn, hopefully by Jan.2020 maSatisfy na yung 2yrs residency & 1 yr fulltime work, pwd kaya mauna na ako mgApply for 887? Then si hubby nmn apply nlng for 887 once satisfied na nya yung residency/work requirements?
P.S.wala pa kaming supling. Working pa lng to have 1

@AIR Hi, I have had this conversation in a different thread but can't remember where exactly.

Actually, it is subject to interpretation. It can be that for example, you are the main
applicant for your 489 and your partner is the dependent, then for 887, your partner can be the main applicant and you can be the dependent but I will say your example can also be possible. Anyway, the visa processing fee for 887 is cheap so if by the time your are eligible for application and your partner is not, and if you can apply on your own then go for it then your partner can apply on his/her own.

Please note that if your partner will apply (or can apply) for his/her own 887, he/she needs to satisfy both 2yr stay and 1yr work. As oppose to if your partner will be your dependent, he/she only needs to provide evidence of 2yrs stay.

I don't see any issue once you have kid(s) coz you can add newborn kids to any existing application prior to a decision.

Hello everyone, does it mean that all dependents and not just the primary applicant need to satisfy the 2 yrs residency requirement?

So in short kahit na ngka work na for 1 yr ang primary applicant and completed na ang 2 years residency then yung dependent is nasa ibang country pa you cannot include them for 887 application? tama po ba? Thanks!

Hello guys, question lang sa mga ka-489 na nag IE na..

489 holder din ako and making my IE soon... mejo OC lang po kasi and I'm looking at the immigration card on arrival.. may section na nasa screenshot, A-B-C hindi ko sure kung san ako under.. Do I thick "migrating permanently" kahit na for 2 weeks lang ako muna just to fulfill yung IE date? BM ko next year pa. Or I still tick B?
