In my experience, pwedeng ibahin ng ANMAC ang ANZSCO code depende sa assessment ng job description na nakalagay sa CoE o Reference Letter. Like saken yung sa isang work ko na NICU - Critical Care (254415) at OR/Surgical (254424), pagdating sa LOD ng ANMAC naging 254499 (nec).

I presume na pagdating sa CO ang titingnan nila ay kung ano ang assessment ng ANMAC for that particular experience.

Hi newbie here and madaming questions so sana may maka tulong since gusto ko talaga maging nurse sa Australia.

1.) anong pinaka advisable na gawin ko if meron lang ako 7months nursing experience sa pinas? Accepted ba yun for bridging lalo na at nung Oct 2013 pa ako nag resign

    Thank you po!

@rsp1216@yahoo.com depende kasi yan kung gaano kalaking risk kaya mo gawin? Maganda ba points mo for migration din? Walang kasiguraduhan na ibibigay ang bridging program. If gusto mo mag PR make sure na may laban ang points mo, if employer sponsored hanap mo make sure na handa ka maghintay at mag persevere just in case hindi ka agad agad makakuha ng work.

@jewel_34 philippines if pinas ka nakatira then my health declarations muna para mas mabilis then apply ng visa subclass 600 business stream, iinput mo yung hap ID sa application mo ng visa. mas madali marelease visa if may medical ka n agad.

    Bridging Visa

A bridging visa is a temporary visa. It allows you to stay in Australia after your current substantive visa ceases and while your substantive visa application is being processed. It can be granted if you lodge an application in Australia for a substantive visa while you still hold a substantive visa.

Basically, you don't apply for a bridging visa... it is granted to you when you apply for another visa to allow you to stay in Australia while waiting for the result of your application.

Since, this is a sub-forum for nurses, allow me to presume that you're considering "getting" this to allow you to stay in Australia after finishing your bridging program? Visitor (600) visas are granted more or less with a 1 year validity with a maximum of 90 days stay per visit. Of course, there are instances of longer validity and longer maximum stay but I it's kinda rare. So if you're taking BP for say 9 weeks and you arrived 1 week prior to that in Australia, that's already 10 weeks (70 days) leaving you 20 days to process AHPRA registration, ANMAC assessment, EOI submission and waiting for Invitation To Apply for the 189/190/489 visa.

AHPRA registration after BP (which is a requirement for ANMAC assessment) can take at the very least, 1-4 weeks, ANMAC assessment (which is a requirement for Skilled Migration) about 4 weeks, and waiting for invitation to apply, another 2 weeks, at the very least.

Looking at that timetable, it would be impossible to do those on your entry for the BP. But very much possible on subsequent entries.

@cucci For example I was approved with multiple visa and done with all the processing from ahpra to PR, is it possible for me now to get the bridging visa once I lodge my pr? If not, what are the types of visa do I need to have in order for me to be granted with the bridging visa?

@paanfsurn you need to do the bridging first before you could lodge for a PR application

    Let's assume:
    1. Finished BP
    2. Went home to Philippines
    2. Registered with AHPRA
    3. Given positive assessment by ANMAC
    4. Submitted Expression of Interest for 189/190/489 visa
    5. Went back to Australia still on Visitor visa
    6. Received Invitation to Apply (ITA)
    7. Lodged your 189/190 visa application

You can now be granted a bridging visa which will take effect when your visitor visa expires. Now as to what type of bridging visa will be granted is up to the CO... there are five (5) types of bridging visas by the way.

@paanfsurn bridging visa A is automatically granted if ng apply k ng 189/190. example nka student visa from bachelor or nka tourist visa (1 year) from bridging program and expiry date ng visa na yan is june 1, 2018 then ng lodge ka ng 189/190 today. pgk lodge mo, may email yan kasunod ng bridging visa A. it will only take effect if mag expire na yung dating visa mo. like sa example, june 2, 2018 pa mg take effect BVA. kaya tnwag xang ‘bridging’ visa while waiting for PR grant. BVA allows you to work full time and get medicare (dpende pa din sa ibibigay ng case officer na rights mo). nka state yan BVA na matatanggap mo kung ano visa conditions mo. but, u r nit allowed to go outside aus with that visa. mag apply k ulit Bridging Visa B pag gusto mo umuwi pinas. More info nsa home affairs website

@kymme actually waiting for loe pa lang. pero I wanted to have an idea on what options ang pwede ko itake after my bridging and while waiting for registration to ahpra hangang sa permanent residency if matetenga bako ng mahabang panahon sa pilipinas hangat walang approval? Lalo na pg wala nahanap na employer na willing mag sponsor.

Another question, sabi saken ng aecc ang visa na iaapply nila saken for bridging course is student visa not visitors visa lalo kung plan ko daw sa acn or etea at kung ilang months lang daw study ko un lang ang iaapprove nila na duration ng student visa. So wala possibility na mag multiple visa ako kahit twice nako naapprove before ng multiple entry visa sa australia before?

@paanfsurn what do u mean multiple visa? multiple entry you mean? or multiple visa like madaming visa? kasi student visa, multiple entry yan e. and certain schools lang ang eigible na pwede mkpag student visa while doing the brdiging course. the rest of schools, visitor visa lang pwede. dpende kasi yan sa accreditation ng school, afaik.

and yes for student visa, kung ano duration ng aralin mo, yun din duration ng student visa plus mga 2 months extension cguro. that’s why its called a student visa kasi need mg aral.
