@Pinoy_Imphotep in that case your best bet is being assessed as Project Builder, which unfortunately upon checking wala halos open ngayon na state. or you can try as Construction Proj Manager.

@kaidenMVH Ganun ba bro?...so ibig sabihin thru ENS 186 visa lang ang chance ko neto which is napaka slim although pathway sya for PRship ..or yung 189 visa skilled independent kaya?

I'm not confident enough to play construction project manager roles kasi shotgun ang ipinangtatapat nyan ng client at hindi revolver 8mm..medyo kaya ko pa harapin yung 8mm hehehe.

@Pinoy_Imphotep be sure to have a positive skill assessment first bro as this is an important step into what type of visa you intend to have . If you are planning to migrate in Au always check for the fastest path as time is of the essence now due to tightening migrating rules happening now

@jmban33 Salamat sa input mo bro. Cge i'll keep that in mind. Pero dun sa mga nagtake ng quickest pathway for PR na nasa AU na ngayon, pwede bang magapassess ulit ng panibagong occupation after a period of staying in au upon being a PR? Ano bang subsequent consequences na possibleng maidulot nyan pag nagpa reassess ng ibang occupation, is it like having equipped with an addtional role or position na pwedeng pagapplyan na trabaho maliban sa naunang pinaassess na occupation at tinrabaho sa au?

@Pinoy_Imphotep Hi! Makiki comment lang po ako, I will clarify regarding your vetassess skills assessment. The purpose of this is for you to be able to apply for a skilled migration visa, once you get a positive skills assessment. Your nominated occupation during assessment could be the same or anything closely related to your actual occupation, that’s why you may explore other titles that could make you eligible to apply. Like what @kaidenMVH suggested, you may check with anzsco the job description of the jobs mentioned if they are almost the same with what you do kahit di yun ang actual position mo, you may still nominate that occupation and have it assessed. Once outcome is positive then you are eligible to apply. The skills assessment is for migration purposes only and is no longer needed once you are granted a GSM visa and you look for a job in Au. Hope that helps. :-)

    PTE Writing Tips

For writing essay I used E2 language format and applying what I learned from Ielts. Sa intro, sa 1st sentence ni restate ko lang yung question using my own words. Then sa 2nd sentence if one sided lang yung question, I give summary of the reasons ( 2 reasons only). Example, if ang essay is about importance of computers (one sided), eto 2nd sentence ko. Computers are valuable resources as they (1st reason) aid in learning and are (2nd reason) used to communicate with others. Then sa 3rd sentence sasabihin ko para pampahaba-- In this essay, I shall discuss my point of view by giving points and examples about the topic.

Then sa 2nd paragraph, elaborate ko na ang 1St reason. Mga 2 sentences na magsupport sa 1st reason, like if yung 1st reason ko is aid in learning, expand ko ang topic by answering how computers aid in learning, etc. Usually yung reason mo convert mo by asking how, what, when, or who. Tapos sa 3rd sentence, I state examples. Pwede ka din mag add pa ng 4th sentence parang isummarize mo lang ang 2nd paragraph.

Sa 3rd paragraph discuss naman ang 3rd reason same sa ginawa sa 2nd par.

4Th paragraph 1st sentence conclusion, then 2nd sentence recommendation.

If 2 sided naman yung intro pwede mo gamitin yung nasa template like kina Heprex na samples. Then yung 2nd par yung kabilang side, then yung 3rd paragraph yung other side. Tapos same last paragraph.

If medyo nahihirapan ka sa mga ideas, research ka dito sa forum ng mga recent topics. Tapos based dun sa topic reasearch ka anong pwedeng maging points and reasons para may idea ka na ano ilalagay mo sa essay.

Ang key talaga sa writing is dapat marami ka ideas. If nahihirapan ka mag construct ng idea try to research as much as possible. Google mo yung mga common or recent topics on pte writing tapos may mga sample questions dun,, then research mo ano possible answers para sa actual exam may idea kana ano isasagot. Tapos dpat familiarize mo mga connectors (like moreover, therefore, for instance, etc) kasi mas mataas ang grade kapag medyo complex ang sentence na ginagamit mo kesa simple sentences lang.

For summarize written text strategy ko is to first get ano main topic. Then analyze what important points were given, may nangyari ba? If meron ano ang nangyari, kelan nangyari? ano at para kanino ang purpose? Usually kasi sa mga paragraphs naka detail lang pero yung point lang naman dun is parang dinedescribe lang yung main topic. If you can answer who/what, when, how and why about the topic pwede mo na pagdugtungin yung ideas mo thru connectors and form a sentence. If you will have multiple paragraphs, summarize mo muna per paragraph then summarize mo ulit lahat in one sentence

Another tip also in writing as much as possible do not repeat the same words. If you dont have much stored knowledge about synonyms okay lang. Practice and Research is the key. Kaya malaki ang help sa akin yung pag research sa mga common or recent topics kasi while practicing pwede akong mghanap ng synonyms then mas madali ko syang ma recall sa actual exam kasi nagawa ko na sya before. Tapos if meron kayong word na ma encounter na parang hirap kayo mag elaborate, google nyo din anong synonym or phrases na pwedeng same meaning ng word. Share ko yung nilista kong mga synonyms na possible na magagamit sa mga essay kasi minsan these are the topics commonly asked.

@Pinoy_Imphotep Once you have your PR visa bro, no need to apply for another skill assessment. You can be hired at higher position if you like if matanggap ka naman, why not. I heard from some collegues na yong tito nila was used to be a clerk sa office but now nagtratrabaho na lang sa isang grocery doon. So it’s a matter na lang of how much you want to be paid or if you are happy sa trabaho mo. Once you have a PR you can shift any occupation you want kasi ang applyan mo na na office or establishment ang mag huhusga sayo if suitable ka ba sa position na open sa kanila. I hope this helps. After PR kasi next step na is citizenship.

@Pinoy_Imphotep sabi nga ni @chococrinkle your nominated occupation is your ticket going in Au as legal entity. You can pretty much do anything you want here to obtain your current line of work. Your ability, credentials, network and luck will be factors on that. The imprtant thing is that yung nominated procession mo must be with a path to have a permanent visa in the future. it doesnt necessarily be 100% percent match on your current work but if you can justify and tailor fit to the requirements of the profession it will be better..

@chococrinkle Hello po maraming salamat sa pagcomment at input nyo ma'am. I'll keep that in mind. However I still have a question, will it allow someone to work anywhere in Au kapag PR status na ang isang individual? No need naba magsecure ng visa regardless of which area based ang gustong maghire na employer? or is it just the naturalized Au citizen can enjoy that priviledge?

@OZingwithOZomeness Ah oo ganun nga bro. Depende na lang talaga sa appetite yan ng isang individual..basta ba PR na at di baleng di ganun kalakihan ang kinikita kada buwan as long as long as it can pay all the bills and cover the necessities. Please correct me if i'm wrong hndi ba 4 years straight of residency ang requirement bago maging eligible for PRship grant right? Yun ang pagkaka alam ko.

The imprtant thing is that yung nominated procession mo must be with a path to have a permanent visa in the future. it doesnt necessarily be 100% percent match on your current work but if you can justify and tailor fit to the requirements of the profession it will be better..

@jmban33 Hold on bro...is it really the nominated occupation? or maybe you mean to say the certain visa that is being applied at the immigration in order to be recognized as a legal entity. Coz thats what I really thought from the start that it is the granted visa that will empower a certain individual to legally stay & work in Au. Can you please clarify on that. Thank you.

@chococrinkle I see. I'll keep that in mind. But having a 2 years validity visa (ss), renewable ba eto without going out Au just to reset the status and take effect of the renewed visa if ever pwede? Pasensya po ang daming tanong.

@Heprex Thank you for shedding your input bro. If it is so for 5 years validity, will it automatically deactivate the effectiveness of the 189 or 190 visa if the certain holder quits or change his/her job say within 2-4 years? Can the visa holder still legally live in Au even without a job say from 3rd year up to the end date of validity?

@Pinoy_Imphotep yes in essence you need a visa to legally enter Au but to be invited to apply for a visa, the requirement is to have a positive skill assessment for your nominated profession. There's are a lot of threads here detailing the step by step procedure on how to acquire visa. have a read on them.

@Pinoy_Imphotep nasagot na ni @Heprex ang moral obligation of the 2years na minimean mo. Just to add about PR validity. The PR status you will have is indefinite ang effectivity nya, means walang expiration. But take note that it has 5 year validity when it comes to travelling in and out of australia. Meaning that within every 5 years that you need to travel in and outside australia and pa expire na ang validty ng sabihin na lang natin ang term na “multi-entry visa” na hawak mo then you have to apply for a resident return visa, in order makapasok ka uli sa australia. BUT if hindi ka namaan magtratravel outside australia as in paglapag mo doon is habang buhay ka na hindi magtratravel outside australia, pwede kang hindi mag apply na ng resident return visa kasi nga indefinite ang validity ng PR status mo. Pero impossible naman na hindi ka magtravel outside australia like mag bakasyon sa ibang country. hahahhaa Ayan bro hope mas clear pa. :)

@chyrstheen congrats! ang bilis! :) Kung nagmamadali po kayo, just go for NSW, although may chance din kayo ma-invite sa 189. Take note na as of now, mas mabilis po magprocess ang 190 vs. 189.

@chyrstheen Congrats! same lang naman po 189 at 190 except yung restriction kung saang state ka pwede magstay for the first 2 years. Mas mabilis po processing ng visa sa 190 compared po sa 189 based sa mga nangyayari ngayon. God bless sa application.

nope. un $300 lang additional expense mo, but in terms of visa fee parehas lang. once you applied for NSW sponsorship max waiting time mo for approval is 12 weeks, but mostly mas maaga na aapprove, matagal na yun 8 weeks. 189 ngayon is nasa Nov 26 pa lang pina process, while sa 190 ay nasa Jan 11 na. bear in mind also that 190 is priority 3 while 189 is priority 4.
