@jazmyne18 Mukhang tough nga ang competition. Halos 70pts lahat nung nabigyan ng invite. Kapag mag-apply ba ako sa 190, mas mabilis ba akong ma-invite?

Meron po ba dito nakatanggang ng comment from vetassess. insufficient task and asking for detailed task for each designation? If same company ba and napromote. May separate stat dec din yun to show each task? Kasi pinapaupdate yun statdec ko.Thanks.

Hello everyone! Baka may makakatulong sa tanong ko: para sa skills assessment (particularly within CPAA), kailangan ko pa ba magsubmit pati ng testimonial ng current employer ko? Thanks in advance! :)

    Hi guys, good evening po.

Inquire ko lang po regarding police clearance. I’ve had an overseas assignment in Japan.
    Year 2008 - 6months
    Year 2010 - 11 months

    Question po:
1.) Ang intindi ko po is required mag produce Ng police clearance if you stayed in a foreign country for 12months and more. Sa case ko po kasi ay staggered ung stay ko pero if you sum up it’s more than 12months. Do I need to produce Japan police clearance? Or Kelangan po ba dapat you stayed in a foreign country for straight 12months or more for you to be required to submit a police clearance?

    Kindly assist to enlighten me.

Thank you so much po in advance! :)

@rechie I suggest go for PTE superior. nung nag start fiscal year, di na sila nag invite ng 65pts for 263111, medyo competitive ang ICT occupation at pataasan na ng points, naka apekto pa ang limited numbers of invite. At ngayon, based sa 21 match 2018 rounds. 75 pts ang need for 263111 para mainvite. I don't think bababa din ang pts required for this occupation para mainvite sa dami ng backlog.

@rachelkristina_ Both are skilled visas, 189 being independent and 190 being state-nominated.

The occupations you can apply under 189 must be listed under the MLTSSL. For 190, occupations can be under MLTSSL or STSOL. You'll have to verify which visa you can qualify under based on your nominated occupation.

@athelene Thanks! Is it easier to get invites for 190? My skill nominated is ICT Business Analyst. I might only have 70 pts but right now, it needs to be at least 75 for Visa 189. Was thinking if this is also the case for 190?

@rachelkristina_ I'm not sure if it's any easier to go for the 190 route, only that it can get you additional points and visa application can be faster because 190 ranks higher than 189 on the priority list. You might want to check the following links for updates/analysis on the trends regarding invitations, so you'll have an idea about your chances for getting an ITA under 189

@rachelkristina_ each case is different and it can't be generalised na it's easier. However, I find myself lodging more 190 visa applications not because it's easier but more because my clients have higher chances to get invited to apply for visa

@RheaMARN1171933, they said the reason of slow intake for visa 189 for Asians is because of New Zealander who are living and working in Australia has its own allocated visas under 189. That is why based sa trend medyo slow ang grant ng visa under subclass 189. I'm not sure if my understanding is correct. =)

@ceasarkho That's correct invites for 189 visa have slowed down due to this. That's the recent findings unfortunately. Though the influx of Kiwis have nothing to do with the points based system but more to do with different requirements which they meet. Immigration's direction on migration intake especially in relation with the GSM scheme is definitely going to be tighter and that's what we agents have always been talking about during our round table sessions.

question po.. just submitted my EOI pero nakalagay kasi sa COE ko for my 1st company and 2nd (present) company ay overlapping yung date ng employment.

    COE Company 1 - Nov 13 2012 to Sep 2 2015
COE Company 2 (present) - Sep 1 2015 to present

    Okay lang kaya yun?

Also, okay lang kaya na hindi exact dates yung sa dates for Education. Ang lam ko lang kasi June 2007 to March 2012 tapos nilagay ko June 1, 2007 to March 31, 2012. Okay lang din kaya yun?

    Salamat sa makakasagot :)

@nicnac I have not experienced applications we've lodged in the same circumstance pero if I apply logic I don't think it would be a big issue. If you get the chance to amend the reference letters, do it then so you can amend the EOI as it just looks better. With regards to start and end date for education, we've had similar situations where clients couldn't also remember so an approximate date should be fine, a few days difference wouldn't harm your application.

    Hi,

My fiance and I are planning to move in Australia. We are still on the stage of understanding the whole process.

    Our background is:
Me: 25 years old, 3 1/2 in present company, Industrial Engineering graduate
Fiance: 28 years old, 5 years in present company, Chemical Engineering graduate but his functions are more of Plant Engineer

We are living together since 2016 and we have joint assets that can prove our relationship. We got engaged last 2017 though we have tentative dates pa when to get married.

If our understanding is right, herewith is the process:

    1. Take IELTS or PTE
    2. Skill/ Educational assessment
    3. Lodge the application
    4. Wait for ITA
    5. Submit documents
    6. Medical
    6. Visa grant

Basically that's how we understand the process but we still have a lot of questions like:

    1. Both of our background is under MTSSL (Industrial Engineer & Plant Engineer) which we can apply under visa 189. We are just wondering what approach should we take in applying, is it one application only for the both of us na like whoever has the highest points will be the primary applicant then the other will be dependent nalang or have 2 separate applications but parehas kami dependent ang isa't isa?
    2. For education/ skills assessment ng Engineers Australia, what service should we get? Yung simple CDR lang or yung CDR with skills review?
    3. Any tips to get higher grade in PTE please. We haven't taken IELTS nor PTE yet but we opt to take PTE nalang muna.

    Thank you everyone! :)
