@GlennM sir, yung IELTS nyo po same pa din ang pinasa nyo sa 489 & 887? ok lang po ipass kahit expired na?

Tama ka yata..di na restricted sa max 45 age ang 887

Hi! Hoping na meron dito na makasagot sa tanong ko.

We're a family of 3 and under visa 489. Will have our BM this august and our initial place in SA is through airbnb and once we there already, then that's the time that we'll find a permanent place to stay. I know in 2 yrs time when we will apply for visa 887, we need to provide a proof of residency. So my question is, will the airbnb receipt will suffice to prove that we came to SA on August 2018? And if yes, dapat kaming 3 including our 2 yrs old daughter, nakalagay ang names namin sa receipt?

Nagpasa po ba kayo ng form80? Since hindi kami lumabas ng au, yung lumang nbi , singapore coc and lumang ielts sinubmit namin pero ung national police clearance updated.

@downunder15 kami, ito ang 1st na ginawa namin agad after submitting our application for 887. Very easy lang basta complete docs at agahan mo din pumunta sa medicare office para di ka magaantay ng matagal sa queue

1. Medicare lng po ba ang puwede na i-apply? What abt childcare subsidy, kasi may LO ka din po dba?
2. Did your partner take IELTS too previously? Kung wala pa IELTS ang partner, dapat mag take para isubmit? Si hubby lng kasi nag IELTS dati.
3. Nagbago na po ba status ng application or received pa rin?

@koykoy Hi! Sino primary applicant sa inyo? Ako kasi primary applicant pero mauna si hubby mag BM. Ang nakalagay kasi sa website mag inform ng arrival ng primary applicant only. I dont know if we still need to inform them of my hubby’s arrival. Thanks.

Regarding childcare hindi lang ako sure kung pwede na, yup my LO din ako pero di kasi siya naka child care since naka maternal leave pa si misis.

Yup nag take na siya dati. Mas maganda kung mag take din partner mo kasi kung hindi e magbabayad ka ng extra charge, I think around 4k aud ang additional fee (correct me if I'm wrong) kung walang ielts ang partner.

3. Nagbago na po ba status ng application or received pa rin?
No update pa din. Received pa din status hehe.

Naisip ko lang po.. would it matter kung yung dependents natin under 18 yrs old ay hndi pa makakumpleto ng 2 years residency upon application? Gaya sa iyo, your LO was born here and hindi pa nabubuhay technically ng 2 years sa Aus kasi kakapanganak nya pa lang. May LO din kasi ako at kung magsusubmit na kmi this month, kulang pa yung required 2 yrs niya. Medyo nalilito ako, hindi ko sure kung applicable din yun sa mga pinanganak dito or yung galing lang ng Pinas? May na consult po ba kayo about that?

@koykoy main applicant lang naman ng visa 887 ang kaylangan maka 2 years stay, yung mga dependents hindi nila kaylangan ma satisfy yung 2 years stay.

Like my case ako lang naman ang more 2 years na dito sa AU, both my wife and child less than 2 years pa lang sila.

@GlennM balitaan mo kami sa outcome ng application mo ah.. kasi may nabasa ako na nagbago na yung rule nila na need na daw lahat na maka 2 years stay sa regional before applying for 887 visa.

@GlennM I found this sa website ng homeaffairs. Ive read it last year pa na need na din ng dependents maka complete ng 2 yrs stay sa regional area, kaya we are prepared na mauna si hubby mag apply ng 887 kasi dependents can also be primary applicants. Mauuna kasi sya mg BM, while after 5 months pa ako at mga kids namin. In your case Im not sure lang din kasi parang last year lang yata sila nag change ng guidelines. Baka nung nag apply kayo old guidelines pa.

Ah dito ako nag checheck ng rules when it comes to migration. Confusing kasi jan sa website ng homeaffairs. Pero syempre I could be wrong as well pero mas tiwala ako dito sa document nila since updated every month. Balitaan ko na lang kayo ng result hehe.

@GlennM God bless you sa application. Cge pls balitaan mo kami. Good news sa amin yan kasi si hobby nauna na mag BM sa amin, sunod pa kami on dec, so if pwede nga ganun then pwede pala sabay sabay kami mag apply after nyang maka 2 years. Thanks sa info :-)

Follow up question lang—how soon can you apply for medicare after lodging 887? Upon receiving confirmation email na na receive na application? The next day after lodging? In your case, kailan kayo nag apply ng medicare.
