congrats in advance, same tayo situation but ang target SS ko is NSW, nakalagay is band 6 lang ang required but also depends on occupation, i checked the NSW SS
site but it is not clear whether analyst programmer is required to have band score
of 7 for each exams.. someone know what is the required band score
for NSW SS - occupation is analyst programmer, already post in NSW SS thread and emailed NSW inquiry but still no answer. Thanks.

@olrac183, based sa website ng NSW, they only require 6points for each band, however, you have to check the minimum IELTS requirement of your skill assessing body. In your case, I think its ACS, kindly refer to this link: http://www.immi.gov.au/asri/occupations/a/analyst-programmer.htm

you can have it notarized in malaysia if you want... maybe pinas, it doesn't matter as long as you have complied with the requirements of DIAC.

S$15/page for CTC? That is too expensive...

Ask nyo po magkano magpa certify true copy, kasi nung nag inquire ako dati iba daw po yun kaya mas mahal ang notarize.

@alexamae iba talaga sya. CTC lang ang hinihingi. notarize kse finafile pa talaga yun ng atty at may number. etc. yung CTC certification lang na copies sya from the orig documents. kaya mas mahal ang notaryo. usually legal documents ang notary. check mo above yung naresearch kong mga prices.

pag umuwi ka pinas I suggest dun mo na ipaCTC lahat.

Hi guys! ask ko lang sa mga nakapagpa-medical dito sa SG of how much time you've spent on the whole process, around 2hrs? or more?

Weekday kasi nakuha naming sched sa SATA... kaya lang daming work sa office ngayon, I'm thinking na kung mabilis lang ang process dito sa SG keri na kaya na long lunch lang ipaalam ko instead na VL hehe. What you think po? Salamat!

sa SATA din kami nagmedical, 45SGD per head po yan at usually weekdays lang talaga ang binbigay nilang sked.. naghalf-day leave kami dahil lang d2.. it took us 2.5 hrs kasi mahaba din yung pila. btw, sa may woodlands SATA pala kami.

i suggest book an appointment asap kasi baka maubusan ka ng slot na medyo pasok sayo. hope this helps

Nag reply po ako sa inyo dun sa IELTS na topic, pwede po ba makahingi ng sample youtube videos na same na lumabas as exam nyo? Kasi sa BC din kami mag take, baka po ganun din ang tanong sa amin. Salamat..

@killerbee salamat! Sa SATA AMK kami nakapagpa-sched, supposedly Woodlands din kaya lang 4th week of Dec na next available slot. Need ko pala talaga maghalf-day leave kung ganun.

Follow-up question na din, ito lang need ano? Ano yung visual aids? hehe
Preparations:

· Referral Letter
· Visual Aids
· Medical History Record (if any)
· Well Groomed for digital photo session
· Health Booklet for child below 10 years old
· No Menstruation

visual aids? hmm, actually i brought my x-ray film with me pero hindi daw kailangan so wala rin kwenta ung dinala namin.. hehe

sa woodlands eh lady doctor dun kaya dun din kami, hehe. basta ang pinakaimportante d2 ay ung passport at referral letter at walang dalaw sa mga babae.

Bago lang po ako sa forum pasensya na if natanong na ito,
Bc lang po sobra sa work kaya wala po ako masyado time magbrowse.

Nainvite na po kmi to lodge a visa recently, eto po ung mga tanong ko.

1) Ung 2 kids po namin SG ang Birth Cert nila, need pa po ba kumuha ng NSO copy?

2) Pano po magprocess ng NBI clearance from SG (7 yrs na po kmi sa SG)?

3) Enough na po ba isubmit tax info from IRAS (fr 2007 til 2011) or need po kumuha copy
ng ITR (para sa 2006 and below na work) as proof of employment
(may mga COE naman po from prev employers ok na po ba iyon?)

4) Need din po ba isubmit copy ng High School Diploma?

Sa Adephi Mall sila - this is in front of Funan IT Mall sa may Cityhall MRT area...

They are not open during weekends though, nagpapahinga malamang ang mga matatanda.

My thoughts:

1) They should have an SG Birth Certificate right? If there is, why do you need an NSO copy?

2) NBI Clearance, get your application and have your thumbmarks taken sa Phil Embassy. Once you have this document pwede mo (a) ipapadala ito sa kamag-anak mo sa Pinas or (b) ipadala mo diretso na sa NBI Office in Taft c/o Julie Macalit. There is a separate thread for this somewhere, hanapin mo nalang for further details. Google also, the process is in the website of the NBI including the address of Julie Macalit if you opt to process it this way.

3) We did not submit na IRAS tax documents for our visa application. However it may be needed as certain documents are required by the case officers on case to case basis.

4) High School Diploma, it was not needed in our case...

Just received the positive result of the skill assessment, we didn't expect na mare-receive nmin ung result this month kya di kame agad naka register sa ROM (registry of marriage), balak sana namen magpakasal ng 1st week of january. We're planning to apply na sana ung EOI & SS, worried kc kame sa occupation ceiling sa WA SS. We're thinking of the more practical way in dealing with our application. Shall I just put de-facto instead (since we are in genuine relationship for almost 10 years & we are living on the same hdb since we arrived here in SG), the only downside is we have to prepare for a lot of docs as a proof of our de facto relationship or shall we wait until January before we apply for EOI & SS? Nanghihinayang lang kc kame sa time na masasayang pag hinintay pa namen ung January.

Anyone in the same boat? Your advise/suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If you have the documents on hand go for the de-facto na... Otherwise you may have to wait (which I don't recommend since waste of time lang yun eh, sayang 1 month din yan ha...)

importante lang naman ung personal statement nyo..

malakas ang case nyo, dahil you have proof of residence (together).. im assuming you have rental contracts...bills with the same address..
