@neo_24 first is you need to know kung anong visa ang aaplyan mo, most common is 189 and 190 for PR Visas, there's also 489. below yung details ng documents required, process and other requirements:

    https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/trav/visa-1/189-
    https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/trav/visa-1/190-

Check the ANZSCO code for your profession if nasa list of eligible occupations.
Then you can roughly calculate how many points you'll get (minimum now is 65).
Next, you'll need to get the corresponding skills assessment for your profession from the corresponding assessing authority in Australia. Kelangan din english exam (usually PTE or IELTS), you'll know the scores that you need based sa points calculation mo.

roughly yan yung first few general steps. for teachers specifically search and ask ka lang dito sa forum I'm sure someone will be able to help further

    263311 Telecommunications Engineer : 189 - 75pts, 190 - 80 pts (NSW)
    (Age:25/Educ:15/Exp:15/English:20)
    (IELTS-GT: L9/R9/S7.5/W7, PTE-A: L90/R90/S90/W90)

13/11/2017 - MSA CDR Submitted to EA
01/12/2017 - MSA outcome letter received
01/12/2017 - EOI Lodged: 65/70 pts (based on previous IELTS result, competent - 10 pts)
    12/06/2018 - PTE-A: L90/R90/S90/W90
    13/06/2018 - Update EOI: 75/80 pts
    10/07/2018 - ITA received
17/07/2018 - Medical Exams (SATA Bedok, Singapore)
    - TB screening for our 2yr old @ Quest Labs, Paragon (est. result, 2 weeks)
18/07/2018 - Health Clearance provided for wife
19/07/2018 - Health Clearance provided for me
21/07/2018 - Lodged Visa Application, uploaded all documents
23/07/2018 - Health Clearance provided for our 2yr old
27/07/2018 - Singapore Police COC appointment, uploaded COC to ImmiAccount

    And so it begins.

    12/12/2018 - Direct Grant!

Thank you Lord for the new beginning :)

    Hi Peeps,
I am currently holding a visa subclass 457, and I have work experience obtained in Australia.
I want to claim points using that experience for Australia Skilled migrant category (Visa subclass 189).
I would like to know if it is necessary to assess that work experience (in Australia)?

@BrizyFilo if you want to claim points better have it assessed. Iyon din kasi advise ng assessing body to update iyong skills assessment previously provided. Nagprovide lang ako ng detailed COE for the Aus work experience. However, this was on 22111 occupation.

Kong no time to do that pede ka din engage into an agent to guide you sa process.

@BrizyFilo hmm application for PR visa isn't cheap as well and di hamak na mas mahal sa $500... Now the question is do you think it's worth it enough to pay for it?

@shyla20 depends on what visa you are applying.

If Visa 189 no need na, but for Visa 190 each state requires different amount.

Hi! Is NSO still accepted for Visa application? Or do we need to request PSA copies for birth and marriage certificates? Thank you.

@milktea13 You may want to use Form 888 or for the purpose of being notarized in the Philippines, make an affidavit stating answers to the questions in the form.

Hi! Good evening! Thank you po! Also may masa-suggest po ba kayong agent na makakatulong samin? Thank you po!

Form 888 is for Australian citizens and permanent residents according sa instruction sa form. Also a notary in the Phils would normally not notarize something which does not conform to proper legal forms accepted in the Philippines.

As such, it is my opinion that it for use in the Philippines, use the affidavit form using required answers in the Form 888 as basis.

A statutory declaration is similar to our affidavit. Another person can say na same lang naman siya iba lang ang terms, he’ll be right but for purposes of clarity at para hindi malito ang reader dapat localised ang info.

There’s no one single form for statutory declarations or affidavits because you can make an oath almost about anything... kung may tinutukoy kang exact na stat dec, please specify kung alin para alam ng magta-try sumagot.

When they say statutory declaration for relationships (or similar statements) yun na yung tinutukoy mo na “notarised” documents. Technically though hindi dapat notarised ang term kasi sobrang generic... anything that a notary public has signed had been notarised no matter what the action it may be... the notary public administers your oaths or affirmations whatever those might be.

And since married na pala kayo hindi mo na kailangan nung other relationship evidences kasi DHA will accept your marriage certificate as evidence of partnership. Did you just want to submit so many evidences?

Is it really worth getting an agent? I’m feeling very dissapointed how incompetent our current agent now.. always uploading the wrong files or missing the wrong files. Causing too much delay.

@domi990 you need to check the code of conduct which your agent should have handed it out to you at the very start, pre-contract signing. If you think your agent has not abide by the code then that’s definitely good grounds for you to terminate his services moreso complain to the MARA of such breach in the code.
