@Avon3737 450 hours is equivalent to 3mos. fulltime work. :) You’re welcome by the way.

@Avon3737 Tanong ko to tomorrow sa AHPRA. Pero more or less, like I've said in the previous post and like what @Cassey mentioned, AHPRA will be your first step in determining which path to take. Yung BP to be honest and based po sa opinion ko lamang ay hindi naman masyado makakatulong with your "skills". It's just pretty much being oriented to the Australian healthcare system and what not. Yung skills mo will come from past experiences and maybe programs such as the conversion courses which are offered in a longer and in a much detailed environment.

@dy3p ah ok po. now po may question is yung conversion po ba is student visa padin? kasi po mga nabasa ako na 1.5 years and 2 years? medyo naconfused poako kasi yung sa cdu 3 years po ang fulltime student. so hindi po ako sigurado if mababawasan yung 3 years dahil sa may prior degree nako sa pilipinas. ganon po ba yun? or conversion po is different program from aphra. sorry po medyo confused. hehe sor, may isa pa pala akong tanong ano po difference ng qualifications at australian study requirement? kasi po sa pointing system may 15 points po ang qualification at 5 points naman po ang australian study requirement. pasensya na po dami ko question. salamat po sa pag answer.

@Avon3737 I'm assuming and people here can correct me if I'm wrong but anything that is more than 3 months of study should be applying for a student visa. Kasi ang conditions lang ng tourist visa (SC 600) is maximum of 3 months study, which is mainly used for BP's since between 9-12 weeks lang sya. You have to ask the school you're looking at regarding the subjects or units you have to take since you already had them before.

A bachelor's degree would equate to 15 pts - Educational qualification
Australian study requirement (5 points) can only be attained if international students complete a qualification or qualifications taking at least 2 years of study in Australia.

Hi Guys, for those who finished BP in 2017/2018 and got a work sponsorship through 457 or 482 (TSS). Just an inquiry, after BP, is there a VISA that you can apply to let you stay in AU for another 1-2 months after your current business visa expires? Just enough time for AHPRA registration and work applications. Can you share with us your experience? Anyone stayed in AU after BP and looked for a job? If yes, under what VISA?

@LovellaEllen This isn't possible unless you're under a student visa from a different course. We all had to go back to where we come from, in our batch at least. Kahit na po, nung nag bbp pa lang kami, hired na, it still took at least 4-5 months.

@dy3p noted po. Thanks! Usually po, sa batch nyo, hospitals within the same state kung saan kayo nag BP yung nag hire? how about those which were on different state? Interview through skype? Baka may ma share kayo na good agency or headhunter, paki send naman :) Hopefully with all the changes in the TSS (482) visa, may mga employer pa rin na willing mg sponsor.. I'll be done with my BP mid Oct pa kasi..

Hi @LovellaEllen , to help you out. I know a friend under Visitor visa business stream 600, before the 3rd month, nag apply xa ni tourist visa onshore so di na xa ang exit. pero extended stay nya for another month just in time para maregister xa at nakahanap ng sponsorship onshore. He got the job and exited. Gather na xa documents for 457 currently. Wise move actually.

Pero justified yung tourist visa nya, excuse nya is he is waiting for his registration in AHPRA since he has no relatives in AU.

Hi @Invisible_Man! Thank you sa response! :) I'm a bit confused on how he was able to justify na "he's waiting for the AHPRA registration" kasi less than 3 months pa cya nun so he's not done yet with his BP so meaning hindi pa cya nag submit for 2nd AHPRA registration.. tama bah? Or did he re-apply ahead for 2nd AHPRA registration while waiting for his BP completion?

I might try that hehe Do you know anyone who's able to get the new 482 sponsorship VISA? I can only hope that during my BP this July-Sept, I'm able to get a sponsorship since PR route is not an option for me since I only have 65 pts :)

So success nga.

@Invisible_Man "got the job and exited" nagexit pa din sya after getting the job?

@LovellaEllen dami agencies like sugarman, HCA, and sometimes just through seek. It wont hurt din to look for a specific hospital and check their vacancies.

    Hello everyone!~
For the first part: 1. Arrange to have verification of your registration emailed to [email protected] This must be done for every country or jurisdiction where you have been registered, except Australia (AHPRA) as this is checked electronically by us. :)

@jpgmartin hello, im not sure kung same lang ang uk and ireland re sa tanong mo. based sa mga nurses dito sa UK na nagapply sa ahpra and able to avoid BP, atleast naka 5 years sila na registered sa NMC. nacount din ng ahpra yung Overseas Nurse Program na ginawa nila kaya wala na bridging.

    Hi @adelaide_boi

I'm just wondering how successful they are in having the nurses land a job here in AU. Parang success story kasi nila is when naipapadala nila yung nurses to study here under a Business VISA (Subclass 456, di ko alam kung bakit hindi Student VISA) pero tingin ko di yun yung sukatan. Saka di nila sinasabi kung magkano interest rate nung pautang nila kaya I fear na masyadong mabigat for the nurses who loaned kahit nakahanap na sila trabaho.

Here is Phil Management's FB Page.
    https://www.facebook.com/phil.management

    Thanks.

familiar sakin ang ganitong kalakalan, may nasalihan kasi akong orientation at sabi pwede daw umutang 17% per annum daw, at may magic din silang ginagawa sa mga ITR, di ko sinasabing Phil management ha , iba agency to
