@carla_glam hi , usually ROM takes 3 months nowadays to book an appointment. kung nakabook na kayo. GOOD! I suggest as what my friend did para mabilisan e tinawagan nila lahat nung private judge at nagpaschedule sila. nasa site ng ROM yung mga private na nagkakasal and if they are free you can do it ASAP. ayos!!! pero while you are doing it ayusin mo na rin yung papers mo. pero calling them will take you one day and definitely one will be available. (cross your fingers)

Next option is parish priest kung catholic ka. they can solemnize your marriage miski sa office lang nila. state your situation and they will do it for you. pero be warned na it depends on the priest. madami namang mababait.

Hi @aiwink salamat pa rin po sa info. Naku same company lang po ang relocasia (writerrelocasia) at writercorporation. Nakakausap ko naman dyan si Lars Kuepper, pati rin si hamza, accommodating nga sya. Ang dami nyo palang ipapa-shipped kami mga 2cbm. Gusto sana namin ma pick up na by january. Hi guys! ask ko lang sa mga nakapagpa-medical dito sa SG of how much time you've spent on the whole process, around 2hrs? or more?

Weekday kasi nakuha naming sched sa SATA... kaya lang daming work sa office ngayon, I'm thinking na kung mabilis lang ang process dito sa SG keri na kaya na long lunch lang ipaalam ko instead na VL hehe. What you think po? Salamat!

Sa SATA woodlands ako noon unang panahon. Weekend naman yung appointment ko pero may extra bayad. Medyo matagal kasi mahaba ang pila. Yung mga follow-up weekday na.

@Birhen_ng_Guadalupe thanks! Nakatapos na din kami magpa-medical pero sa SATA Ang Mo Kio, madami daw nagpapa-sched sa SATA Woodlands kasi dun lang may lady doctor... mas preferred ng ibang ladies kaya punuan sched nila.

I'm praying & hoping na maging ok ang result ng medical naming buong pamilya.

@carla_glam mas maganda na ROM kayo agad.. mas matagal and mas marami tanong kapag de-facto ang relationship niyo.. kaya niyo niyan, sbe nga kun makakahanap kayo ng mag-solemnize ng marriage niyo mas mabilis.. mas maganda m-submit niyo lahat sa SS and makuha approval.. take note lang na every july meron change sa mga requirements.. go go go.. don't be pressured, take one step at a time..

1. sa tingin ko wala naman problem. dun sa statement nyo sa de-facto, sabihin nyo na lang na malapit na ang wedding.. if you can provide proof na naka-sched na nga talga ang wedding nyo.. and then later on, you can change the details on your application by using "Form 1022 Notification of changes in circumstances"

2. Yes, sinama ko.. wala pong naging problem.. we submitted the following:
- our personal statements (masaya to, surprise pag nabasa nyo na ang sinabi ng bawat isa.. lol)
- statement from family members (na ako din ang gumawa.. haha)
- 2 statements from friends (at ako pa rin ang gumawa, tinatamad daw kasi sila haha)
- pictures with family and friends/travel together
- bank account/remittance/transfers
- yahoo chat history nung time na magkahiwalay kami..

how did you guys transfer your money from SG to AU?

i'm thinking of doing either of the 2:

1) Outward Telegraphic Transfer via iBanking of DBS/POSB
- i hope everything will go through with the online transaction and there will be no One Time Password sent to my SG phone as it would be disconnected by that time

or

2) Get a Demand Draft from DBS/POSB and bring it personally to AU
- is it safe to carry this document with my whole CPF savings on it?

@likeaboss : ok sana yung Demand Draft pero hanggang 10K AUD lang ang legally na pwede dalhin. eto kasi ang pinakamurang option na pwedeng gawin e.

pag yung OTT...posible kasing walang direct arrangement yung DBS/POSB dun sa bank na gusto mo sa oz. like for example...gusto mo mag OTT to NAB. pero to get your money to NAB...kelangan na dumaan ang pera sa Commonwealth Bank kasi walang direct arrangement ang DBS/POSB sa NAB. as shared by @psychoboy...Commonwealth Bank will charge you 1% of the money being transfered. medyo malaki din ito. and syempre...may mga handling and telex charges pa ang DBS/POSB.

Hi po. 3/4 ng past employers ko eh standard COE lang nakuha ko. Paano po ung sta declaration for detailed job responsibilities? Pwede po ba, isang stat dec lang para dun sa 3 employers na walang detailed work responsibilities or dapat isa2? tapos po, may soft copy po ako na stat dec na nakita sa website, http://www.ag.gov.au/Statutorydeclarations/Pages/Makingastatutorydeclaration.aspx, pwede ko po ba dito gawin yun tapos pa notarised ko nalang sa lawyers? @hotshot oh.. hanggang 10k lang pala demand draft.. NAB din balak ko i-open na account kaya need to verify nga if pwede direct sa kanila i-wire from DBS/POSB.. if not, check ko din baka pwede through OCBC or UOB..

Kung ok lng pla ang pag process ng de facto visa & we have enough proof to show them our genuine relationship, I guess mag de facto nlang po kame so we can have an ample time to prepare for the wedding. Cguro after ma grant nlng ng visa kame magpakasal pra di na kame need mag send ng notification of changes in circumstances.

@hotshot ok. Then I think ok lang since the 10k limit should only apply to hand carried cash to prevent money laundering. We just need to declare any amount over 10k. Demand draft would still go through the banks

@likeaboss : ah ganun ba? pag nagbabasa kasi ako ng ibang forums...puru mga 10k lang pinapagawang draft para daw safe. i guess takot lang sila mag-declare at matanong ng sa oz. hehe. pero ako mukang demand draft ang gagawin ko. ang tanong na lang e kung sosobrahan ko sa 10k or hinde.

I managed to successfully transfer a portion of our life savings to Commonwealth Bank in Australia via DBS - charge sa amin sa SGD 30 for Telex/Cable and AUD$5 for handling fee from Commonweath Bank for receiving the money...

@hotshot - if you just declare it, wala naman talaga problema kahit ilang milyon dalhin mo... Kaso if pwede mo naman i-transfer na sa Australia mas better cguro as (1) it would earn interest and (2) it will give you peace of mind na andun na pera mo and wala na yung possibility na mawala mo yung draft.

Lastly ang demand draft might take a while din cguro to clear...

samin 1 week lang po pero hindi ko nalaman kung ano result.. i tried contacting both SATA at ehealth pero no response. sabi ng ehealth kung gusto malaman ung result, tatanong mo sa CO but i didn't bother asking. sa awa ng Diyos visa grant naman na po.
