Meron akong Cisco and Oracle.

Ah I see. Dun pala sya magagamit kung sakali. Thank you.

Associate pa lang meron ako. Sa ACS assessment guide, if I'm not mistaken cisco and microsoft lang ang inaaccept? And if cisco, atleast CCNP.

If Oracle, will ACS accept this as supporting proof? Balak ko kasi pa-assess is 262111

tama ka, ACS only accept Microsoft and Cisco "Professional" Level, based sa pagkakaintindi ko sa ACS guidelines, yan lang ang accepted vendor certification na ina-assess nila.

may mga galing section 1 na school at bachelor's degree ang inassess ni ACS pero minus 4 years ang binigay na assessment. depende din kase to sa section ng school, number of units, grades at syempre subjects.

@flexihopper18 @patotoy they deduct 4 years if the studies done was not closely related to the nominated occupation.

I got 2 friends who graduates in Section 1 School, BS ECE, work experiences were in line with 2631xx (officemates at F******), both got GWA of better than 2.0, 5 year course, both got 4 Cisco elective subjects and both of them was assessed by ACS of Bachelor's Degree Major in Computing but one got minus 4 years and the other was minus 2 (he got CCNP so "maybe a factor").

***my friend who got minus 4 years is going to contact the assessor about his credentials since the results was received last Monday.

I also have friends with almost similar credentials without CCNP and ACS only deducted minus 2 years as well. so can we say that the decision varies between different assessors? :)

@patotoy if I was the agent handling those cases, I will question it. There are times I’m able to turn around their decision when I challenge them. Of course, I base my arguments on facts. In general, refer to this link for further info

    https://www.acs.org.au/content/dam/acs/acs-skills/Summary of Criteria - 2017.pdf

Unfortunately, not all cases are the same. Not because it worked for one doesn’t mean it will work for all. Each case is very individual. All the more you can’t use someone’s circumstance vs another applicant’s circumstance as an argument. It’s all about asking for a sensible explanation from the case officer for such outcome then you reason out from there.

thanks, we also checked the criteria and also the latest ACS guidelines even before they go for ACS assessment that's why he was confident that it should only be minus 2. he will contact the assessor to inquire about the results.

thanks again for the information that you've provided in pinoyau. Godbless!

i am an IT grad, from Section 2 school. working as a network engineer with 7 yrs experience. Sana 2 years lang ibawas sakin since i have Cisco subjects during college days and sana Major for my course din pasok kasi sa GWA 2.0 grades ko. hehe pag 4 yrs binawas sakin iyak tawa ako non.

i have a colleague na din kasi who is in Australia na. IT grad in AMA then network engineer rin.

By the way, i have a friend na ECE din, she took the Engineers Australia route pero network engineer din sya. wala na deduct sa 5 yrs work experience nya and waiting nalang sya ng grant. 75pts total.

    Ah ok, thank you.

Question lang.

Sa mga government agencies naman sa Pinas, Jr is part of my first name. Which is ito daw ang default sa government. Like sa passport, PRC license, driver's license.

@patotoy Good point. Kaso i cant take the EA route, as i am an IT graduate.
But yes prolly will take PTE this 2nd week of september. and i will pass sa 190 different states as advised by a migration agent so more entries more chances of getting invited.

Hi. Tanong ko lang about sa stat declaration. Lumagpas kasi ako ng one page. Dapat ba per page yung tatak nung notary public? Or okay lang kahit yung last page lang may tatak? Thanks.

    Hi, @RheaMARN1171933

I'm in the process of submitting my EOI.

The following employment after April 2017 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled
level and relevant to 263111 (Computer Network and Systems Engineer) of the ANZSCO Code.

    Dates: 04/13 - 12/17 – 4 year(s) 8 month(s)
    Position: Role 1
    Employer: Company A
    Country: Philippines

    Dates: 01/18 - 05/18 – 0 year(s) 5 month(s)
    Position: Role 2
    Employer: Company B
    Country: Philippines
