@netzkeenet @jenipet20 hehe, kami nga mismo nag d-doubt na di namin kaya ma support ang de facto na status.

siguro na "swertehan" lang talaga kami sa CO or plainly, not enough evidence to support such. Girlfriend ko sya nung college, and we started to live together 3 years ago, although sa apartment lang shared with college classmates din.

Hopefully may makapag comment dito na na approve yung de facto application.

Hi mga kababayan! Yong de facto ko, inaprove naman pero linagay ko lang sya as non-migrating. Naswertehan lang siguro ako sa CO na hindi humingi ng proof of de facto relationship namin. Isinabmit ko lang yong affidavit na signed ng Barangay Captain namin stating na they knew that we are living together.

Nagtaka nga ako kasi hiningan sya ng Form 80.

Approved ang de facto ko, and he is the secondary applicant. At the time of lodging, 22 months pa lang yung relationship, and 20 months na kami living together. We don't have kids, but we have a pet dog which we intend to bring with us to Australia as mentioned in our stat decs. He is a divorcee while I've never been married. We submitted the following documents:

- 2 statutory declarations (sg, fr) and 1 affidavit (ph) from his mom and two of our friends about our relationship, plus yung individual stat decs namin. I would have given one more from my mom in Ph pero hindi na hiningi. Of course all duly notarized. Di namin ginamit yung Form 888, but I don't think there's going to be a problem using it as long as it's notarized. We drafted all the stat decs ourselves except for one (from my best friend) to make sure all details are correct and consistent and that we cover all bases / possible questions.

- April 2014 and May 2014 monthly statements for our joint account. Note that we only opened the account in November 2013. No question from CO. All original, but we had notarized copies just in case.

- all travel itineraries together. Total of 5 trips from 2012-2014. All original pdfs from airlines, but we also had them printed out and notarized just in case CO wants them.

- certificate of health insurance showing we have a comprehensive health plan together

- bills and official government mails (tax-related) to our same address. The bills / letters show that they date back to when we claim to have started living together.

- christmas cards from his family addressed to us

- about 20-something photos in one pdf file, all labeled with dates and location and who we were with (holidays, with my family, with his mom, with our dog, with our friends). Nilagyan pa namin sa dulo ng "For more, please visit (instagram ko) and (instagram niya)"

Not notarized.

- his divorce decree, original

Yan lang. I think yung strong proofs namin for the relationship were the bank statements, and maybe the official letters and bills to the same address plus the health insurance.

Stat decs / affidavits and photos are considered under social aspect of the relationship, which is just one part. Meron pang financial, household arrangements, etc. May list nito sa Au immi website.

Oh and one more thing: I've read somewhere that you have to be able to establish when exactly you made a life-long commitment. Medyo di ko alam how CO's check this, in our case nilagay lang namin sa stat dec na yung decision to migrate to Au is an offshoot of a discussion of our long term plans together. Others can demonstrate by their engagement, or kung yung iba may kids na strong proof rin yan.

great to hear dun sa mga na approve.

actually yung one thing na lang na hiningi ng CO sa amin before sya nag decide is proof of joint ownership ng asset, which hindi namin nabigay. @jenipet20 non-migrating means, kasama sya sa application pero di sya mabibigayan ng visa if na approve, so walang bayad.

Statements from friends, tig isa s bawat family namin plus ung landlord namin..hnd kasi nakapangalan samin yun bahay... At eto pa.. Nasa uae kasi kami which is bawal maglive in..pero magksma tlg kmi s bhay..bwal din kumuha ng joint account kung di mag asawa so ala kami nun..minsan p lng kami sabay umuwi ng pinas so hnd pa namin naayos un joint account that time..financial proof namin ay yung statement nung landlord n si bf ngbbyad s rent nmin dalawa at yung hatian s kuryente..at ako naman s net bill.. Si bf din bayad s mobile bill ko.. At yung s address...hnd s bahay bumabagsak mga bills e..may sinesend ng mga banks s po box which is usually s company...

Tpos..travel together namin..passport stamps n sabay kami umuwi at byahe..mga photos.. Mga events at restau vouchers...

hi @grail172, di ako sure kung what documents pa yung kailangan pero kung pag babasehan sa website, baka kaunting documents na lang hingin once nag apply ka ng 309 na visa.

hi @jenipet20, try to assess yung evidences nyo based dun sa required. kaya kami nag decide na non-migrating dependent sya is because we believe na kulang din kami ng is support sa claim namin. eto yung mga scenarios na tinitingnan natin:

1. if you include your partner at hindi niyo ma support claim niyo, you will lose your ~AUD1.5K (unless kasama sya sa pag claim ng points mo, which, based sa isang post na nabasa ko dito, pag na decline eh yung whole visa application ma d decline)
2. include her as a non-migrating dependent (no need to pay anything but you have to pay the full ~AUD3K later sa partner's visa)

Yung sa amin, yes, more than a year na ung joint account. Pero I think some bank certificates don't indicate when the account was opened, so baka pwede makalusot. Ung mahalaga sa 1 year ay ung living together evidence/correspondence to the same address.

like yung credit card bills and phone line, mga september last year nlng kasi ko nakapagpachange.

@angelray nope. we didn't live together. though, kinasal kami (civil) the day nainvite ako. So nung nagka-CO kami, were only 2 weeks married. haha. tinanggap naman ung marriage contract, photos at joint acct namin. we just proved that we're in a relationship for more than a year.

@angelray kung mahirapan ka to provide bills and documents sent to the same address, wag mo nalang siguro i-upload kung hindi cohesive sa rest of the story. Actually, wala sa list ung individual mails/bills of the couple sent to the same address --ang meron lang "Joint Mail" (so I had to put our bills under "Other Mail"). So I guess hindi ito masyadong matimbang

Focus on the other documents, like the statements from both partners and friends and family -- indicate when you started dating, and when the defacto relationship/living together began. Sa statements niyo nalang i-outline ang living and household arrangements. Ung bills kahit nakapangalan lang sa partner mo, as long as 1 year should be fine, lagyan niyo nalang ng konting description na sa kanya nakapangalan pero share naman kayo magbayad etc. Then of course, pictures and travels together.

Statement on how you met, how the relationship started, statements ng common friends that they are aware of your relationship, statement ng parents that they recognize your relationship and a lot of photos together, with friends and with relatives. lagyan nyo ng caption telling the story about the photo.
