Hi @cisco_chef sorry about that. On the essay part i used templates recommended by hyperdex, i think its on the page 530 of this thread, make sure to check the spelling, word count, work within the time limit and don’t go off topic, i only got 1 essay it says “medical technology, is it a blessing or a curse, discuss” i used that template and it worked. See also the lists of essay questions by dylan aung, and focus on questions that have increased bearing on writing.

@cisco_chef You can try this tips that I found useful for my preparation:

1. Look out for the General Statement. This is usually the first sentence in the question prompt. Consider this statement carefully.
2. Essay Structure:
Paragraph 1 - Introductory Paragraph:

Rewrite the General Statement found in the question prompt in your own words. Use synonymous terms or similar words to describe what is the topic.
Briefly mention side 1 and side 2.
Give overall opinion.

Paragraph 2 - If argumentative essay like pros and cons, strengths and weaknesses, advantage disadvantage, choose one side to discuss. This will be side 1.

Sentence 1 - Restate side 1 in your own words. This is your opening sentence.
Sentence 2 - Give reasons (answer the question "why?") This will be your supporting sentence which will add information to your argument.
Sentence 3 - Give examples to support your main ideas. This is your evidence sentence where you can cite examples, facts, quotes or even made up research/study/etc.
Sentence 4 - Conclude side 1. This is your closing sentence which ends your paragraph and relates to the opening sentence. (As a result of this,...)

Paragraph 3 - Discuss side 2 of the argument.

Sentence 1-4 - Use sentence flow from paragraph 2

Paragraph 4 - Concluding paragraph

Sentence 1 - Rewrite general statement with regards to the points you discussed.
Sentence 2 - Give overall opinion. (In my opinion,...)

3. Always stay on topic. Do not drift away from the main topic the question prompt is asking.
4. Spend 2 minutes max to plan your essay properly. I found it quite helpful to type the points I will discuss prior to starting the introduction.

Yan lang po sa ngayon ang maitutulong ko based sa mga napanuod kong videos. I will attach a sample essay I did during my practice for your reference. It might not be exactly like the structure of one above but this is what I did during one of my mock exams.

@WAHM Mine is L=79, R=90, W=86, S=83.

4th take ko yan. First 3 exams, mababa lagi reading ko. Mabagal kasi ako magbasa. What I did, I read and answered all the items sa reading task sa PTEStudy.com. Kakabasa ko at practice, noong actual exam, bumilis reading comprehension ko. So ayun, more practice.

I'm planning to take PTE again second time ko na, first to is nung April pa, natagalan dahil nag-Short term assignment ako sa ibang lugar so kabablik lng mejo nangangapa ulit ng konti, ung first take ko super konti nlng sana S/L/W/R= 77/73/76/80 , wala akong tulog and kain nung nag-exam plus kabado din dahil first time ko. pero sana this time mkasuperior n tlga. Plan ko magtake ng last week ng December. May Exam schedule po kaya nun? Xaka po nung nag-exam po ako di ko po kita ung time n merun nlng ako sa ibang exams. Katulad po if re-tell lecture di ko po nkikita kung ilang seconds nlng instead prang bar lng xa.. pero ung overall time kita ko nmn ung per task lng. Gnun po b tlga? ung mock kasi d gnun kaya un mejo unexpected ko yun hahaha.

Ask ko din, if 2pm ang sched ng exam sa Pearson Makati, what time pwede paakyatin sa testing area ang mga examiners? Diba agad natatapos ung previous na 11am sched? Minsan parang 10am start na sila..

And nahihirapan ako sa Reorder paragraph, ano kaya ang magandang materials?
