Hello. I am asking for my cousin. Bale gragraduate siya ng K12 this coming March sa Pinas and she wants to study Diploma in IT sa Melbourne after. May chance kaya na magkaron siya ng offer from schools kahit diploma lang kukunin nya and highschool grad? Magkakaissue din kaya siya sa student visa application? Bale ang magssponsor din pala sa kanya is my mom.

@rj09 alam ko allowed naman ang k-12 graduate na magtuloy sa oz. yung classmate ng cousin ko sa ust na k-12 graduate kumuha ng bachelor in commerce sa oz. better ilapit sa mga agency para sure po if pwde kht diploma muna ang kuhanin.

@Rmblank1 no ielts pero need mo magtake ng elicos course. No show money depende po sa school na papasukan. Better check po unh document checklist tool.

Hello po, Im new on this forum Just want to ask, Since I'm already 29 and since hindi pasok sa Skilled immigrant yung natapos ko (im a business grad tapos finance and accounting experience ko) The only way ba na makapag immigrant or work ako sa AU or NZ is to go student visa tapos part time work ? are there any other options, also may age limit ba when it comes to being student?

@garter26 if PR balak mo you need to study something na nasa mltssl so that you can nominate an occupation na nasa list nila. Student visa does not guarantee PR.

Hi everyone! Just want to ask again for those who recently applied for student visa here in australia, did you present any showmoney during the visa application process? I know someone who didnt (gonna take up a bachelors) and hindi nagpakita ng showmoney..got her visa grant. I asked an IDP agent and she is asking us to present financial docs. Thanks sa mga sasagot! It’s for my brother sana and he’s looking into getting BSN here July intake.

@diazepamie depends sa school ang proof of funds. Use the document checklist tool sa home affairs to verify if the school requires it.

AECC ako, hindi na ako hiningnan sa Deakin Uni and hindi na rin pinasa ng agent ko yung mga prinovide kong financial docs. Usually pinapaprepare lang yun ng agency para just in case lang na hingin kasi ng uni or immi, may masusubmit agad sila. pero oks lang naman na hindi magbigay agad ng financial docs. Madami naman uni na hindi na nagrerequire ng financial docs.

@rj09 Hello, IT grad ako and incoming post-grad student. Kung balak nya mag PR, advise ko na magtake na sya ng bachelor. Karamihan ng IT occupation sa MLTSSL naka pro rata na. Meaning mas mataas na yung points needed para mainvite. Like me, I am a programmer and I need at least 75 points. Si diploma kasi 10 points lang ang macclaim nyo, while yung bachelor 15 points.

Aside from that, ACS is the assessing body of IT and they require at least 2 yrs of work experience para magkaroon ka ng positive assessment.

Try to familiarize yourself first sa PR pathway bago kayo magdecide ng SV. unless kung studies lang yung habol nyo or kung meron na kayo kakilala na magssponsor sa knya after ng studies nya.

@MLBS i did check & it wasn’t a requirement but the IDP agent asked for it so it’s kind of confusing. But thanks for the advice

@diazepamie they're doing that para if ever hanapin sya, no problem. Inuunahan lang nila DHA so it's why they probably require it from you.

@diazepamie Ask education consultants like AECC or AMS Global, they are free of service. I asked AMS last time and they said, no show money for now. But still, it depends on the changes with the immigration. Usually the changes happens around March and July, according to AMS agent.

I see. Bale for now studies lang muna. Iniisip namin na ipasok muna siya sa diploma then pag nagkabudget na ididirecho sa degree. Di pa namin napagusapan kung magPR siya dito kasi concentrate kami sa schooling nya. Iniisip lang namin baka lag hindi siya magkaoffer sa schools or madeny ang student visa pag diploma lang kinuha nya for now.
Familiar po ako sa PR pathway. Like you, IT grad din ako. PR ako here. I didnt have to go through nga lang via the SV route kasi direcho ako nagapply.

@krisrosestelle2021 halos parehas lang po. Ang difference po is yung SOP usually school requirement wheras yung GTE need ipasa kapag naglodge. Also yung format ng gte ko nun essay format. Yung SOP may specific na question tas need mo yun sagutan.

Hello po, bago lang po ako dito. Nurse po ako with 1 year of experience, mag aapply po sana ako ng Student Visa in Australia. Tapos may agency na po akong nakuha. Sila po pumili ng school at course ko. Lawson College po ang school with the course of Health and Community Care package. Magtatanong lang po sana ako if ok lang na walang IELTS kasi ni waived daw ang IELTS sa school nato at No Show Money na rin sabi ng Agency. Hindi pa po ako nakakuha ng Letter of Acceptance from school kasi hindi pa ako nag process at nagbayad ng Application Fee. Natatakot po kasi ako baka hindi ako ma accept ng school at hindi ako mabigyan ng Letter of Acceptance. Salamat po sa makakatulong.

@anamariefranco madami na ko nababasa about sa Lawson College wait tayo ng sagot baka may nag-aaral dun. Btw na-try mo na ba magpa-consult sa ibang agency na no need to pay? Letter of acceptance yan ba yung offer letter mo? You don’t have to pay if offer letter pa lang ang ibibigay ng school. Ang ma-advice ko lang sayo is Make sure na yung kukuhanin mong course is may pathway to PR.
