Got my result today! Sa wakas after 2 years at 3 failed attempts, nakuha ko na rin ang matamis na superior on my 4th attempt. Thank you Lord! At salamat sa mga nagbigay ng tips sa forum na to. Finally! - LRSW 90/79/90/90. (syempre nasa laylayan parin yung reading :P )

@d_slayer22 normal lang na ma frustrate if di mo na achieve ang iyong desired scores. Ito check naten san ka kailangan tumutok ng practice.

Enabling Skills
Grammar = 90
Oral Fluency = 61
Pronunciation = 90
Spelling = 90
Vocabulary = 63
Written Discourse = 57

L/R/W ang need mo tutukan, and konting push pa for Speaking if aiming ka for Superior.

Practice more para tumaas ang Oral Fluency kailangan yung di ka nabubulol at di ka nagamit ng fillers when speaking (like “am”). Sa speaking, no chance ka na ma lost for words kailangan dere derecho - that’s why we utilize templates - kasi by saying a pre constructed statement - ma ensure naten na walang dead air during speaking.

Work on your vocabulary - synonyms, academic collocations.

Written discourse - Ito yung pagkakasunod sunod at pagkaka dikit dikit ng ideas ng iyong essay or SWT and SST. Use linking words to connect the ideas and dapat yung flow ng ideas mo e dere derecho, hindi yung you’re talking about topic A in one sentence, then jumps to Topic B sa sunod na sentence.

There are a lot of areas to improve, but there is nothing that can’t be achieved through constant practice and determination.

This would mean numerous legit you tube videos to watch (Jay ng e2 language), lots of articles to read, madaming practice essay to work on, listen to podcast, TEdtalks to familiarize yourself on different topics, makinig din sa ibat ibang recordings lalo na if you are not familiar with accents ( British, French, Australian, American - yan madalas na nalabas)

Give yourself at least another 4 months to review before sumalang ulit sa PTE. If sasalang ka agad and not receive your desired scores again, dadagdag lang yan sa frustration mo.

I know you think na you may have prepared maigi for this Feb exam, but still - di nag ok - we’ve all been there. Assess yourself san ka kinulang, then work your way up.

Alam mo ako nung nag rereview ako, binasa ko ang buong PTE thread to pick up all the tips and tricks and you tube sites na nilalagay ng mga ka forum natin and ang dami kong nakuha na talagang nakatulong sa akin. And while reading, di lang ako nakakuha ng tips, but encouragements

Makukuha mo din yan. Kita mo daming success stories today. Aabangan namin ang sayo

Sana po makatulong,again credits to owner Aditi PTE Listening Module:
1)Summarise spoken text – This section accounts marks heavily to your listening and writing score. The more words you pick from the audio, the more it will boost your vocabulary marks (enabling skills). - Invest more time on this
2)MCQ single answer - This section will give you marks only to Listening section.
3)Fill in the blanks – This carry 10 pts to listening and approx. 10 pts to writing.
4)Highlight correct summary – This section gives you marks to your listening and reading scores. (Approximately 10 to 15 pts). Watch Dream English Channel video on YouTube to crack this section.
5)MCQ multiple answers - This section will give you marks only to Listening section. Only select one and proceed.
6)Select missing words - This section will give you marks only to Listening section.
7)Highlight incorrect word – This carry 10 pts to reading and 10 pts to listening.
8)WFD – This is the most important task in listening. It will give you approx. 35 to 40 marks each in listening and writing module.
Repeat Sentence & Retell Lecture contributes heavily to Listening section i.e. approx. 30-35 pts – Invest more time on this.
Tasks 2, 5 and 6 carry less than 10 pts to the listening section. Don’t waste much time practising these tasks.

I'm surprised that "Highlight Correct Summary" has a significant impact pala dun sa reading. I thought less than 5 points lang ang contribution nito sa Reading score.

@nrekram update lang ako ng eoi bale kasi may previously submitted eoi na ako 1year na nakalipas hehe 65pts lang overall pts ko without english pts kaya pinilit ko makaproficient sa pte para madagdagan 10pts baka makatulong sa invite

Hello! Share ko lang yung ginamit kong phone app for review, 2 sa mga images na dinescribe ko nung exam, nandoon. Tapos isang reorder paragraph. Super helpful. Search niyo lang APEUni sa app store. Yung may gorilla sa icon niya. Finally got my superior pte last thursday. Plus one tip sa listening, makining ng makinig ng podcasts ng BBC, sa case ko BBC at What it takes yung mga pinapakinggan ko, napansin ko kasi yung write from dictation ko parang andali kong natranscribe yung audio, baka dahil kahit rinding-rindi na ako sa kkkinig sa podcast, sige play parin sa commute. Sana makatulong yung mga app sa inyo. Goodluck!
