Hi po. Anyone familiar in claiming 5pts for partner? Hubby will be the main applicant (Electrical Engineer) and ako po as partner (Civil/Transport Engineer).. gusto po kasi sana namin maclaim yung 5pts since ang mga naiinvite nlang ngaun ay mga 80pts. Ang question ko po...

1. Sa EA po kami pareho dapat magpaaccess?
2. Pag Australian Engineer Qualification Assessment lang ba ginawa ko as partner sa EA, and hindi na yung Australian Engineer Qualification Assessment+Relevant Skilled Employment Assessment... makakaclaim ba kami ng 5pts nun? Medjo malakai kasi yung price difference.

1. Yes sa EA po kayo pareho
2. Assessment lang po pwede na parang add on lang yung RSEA pero hindi sya talaga requirement

@wellac yes po. You need a positive Assessment and competent English exam result to claim 5 points for having a skilled partner.

@czianczia28 thank you po. actually nakapag PTE na po ako, and above 65 naman po nakuha ko. So kelangan ko din po pala pag daanan yung pag gawa ng mga kacareer episodes para sa assessment sa EA para magka additional 5pts po kami no? Haha stress..

@kb.rinoa question lng kasi we have the same case, 2 of my cdr's were requested to rewrite and I was already requested to provide additional employment record kasi base daw sa reference letter ko, it's not reflecting the ANZSCO code for Industrial Engineers since it focuses more on Inventory Management, ask ko lng do I have to revise the 5 main duties on my reference letter or provide another reference letter na dapat different na nmn ang mag sign? Na confuse lng ako on what to do.

@wellac yes po gagawa ka rin ng CDR hehe. Ganyan din ang case namin ng husband ko, kaya nag iisip pa ako if mag claim pa ako ng points from his skill kasi double gawa pa ng CDR.

@czianczia28 oo nga e. actually yung CDR lang nman mahirap and matrabaho to claim 5pts. Kasi anticipated max points nmin is 75 lang if ever iretake ni hubby yung PTE to get 20pts. Haha and yung mga naggrant ngaun is 80pts na.. kaya nag iisip kami na iclaim yung 5pts

@GeriC hello po. It’s really challenging pag ang line of work mo medyo hindi relevant sa tinapos. I did not submit a referral letter, ung typical COE lang ang meron ako. But I prepared a Statutory Declaration signed by my Superior if ever na hingin. I believe same lang sya sa referral letter, baka how you presented lang. Baka po mas ok gumawa ng bagong referral letter.

Sa CE writing, Suggestion ko po to focus on technicals ng pagiging IE. Kung ano po mga processes, theorical concept/formulas and standards na pwedeng maapply. I treated each CE as a thesis. May problem, may solution na ako mismo ang nakadiscover or nag suggest, as well as results- positive feedback from client, etc. To make sure na tama ung mga nilagay ko sa CE, i had it reviewed by a colleague na practicing Engineering talaga. Also referred sa mga standards.

@wellac as far as I can remember, sinama ko yata yun sa evidence of employment under RSEA.

@dream.BIG not sure kung without RSEA. Pero under Section C, Item 3 (Checklist) of the MSA booklet, you need to provide documentary evidence of employment (probably they will use it as a reference to your CDR).

hello po! ask ko lang po, ME po ako pero more on sales ng industrial equipment and tools ang work ko. hindi po masyadong marami ang technical side, papasa po ba ako sa assessment ng EA? wala po ako masyadong maisip na career episodes huhuhu

@dream.BIG in my case, I availed the RSEA to ensure that all of my experiences are assessed as relevant as well as to be more confident in the next processes particularly in the immigration.

Hello! question lang po regarding sa pagsend ng mga requirements sa EA. naka indicate po kasi to 'The documents listed above must be colour scans of the original documents.'

Fortunately, ung HR po namin ngpprovide ng COE with Job Description and all other details na kelangan, kaso its only BLACK AND WHITE with dry seal. I can probably request for a colored one pero with the approval pa from other department (admin and management daw) aside from HR lang.

May nakapagpasa na po ba dito ng black and white scanned copy kasi black and white lang din po ung original? Thank you po sa sasagot.

Also, HR will include summary ng lahat ng tasks, duties and responsibilities. OK lang kaya un more than 5 main duties? thanks!

@jsjabaan as long as it is in letterhead with contact details of your employer it should suffice. Kung magagawa mo magappear yung dryseal sa scan much better.

yes @donyx. May letterhead and contact details naman ung COE. its just that black and white sya. Then its an Australian company (Telco) so most probably alam nila un dun and baka weird kasi black and white ung company Logo sa letterhead.
