Oo medyo matagal pa kaya di ko muna iniisip. Sabi nga nila pag di mo hinihintay, bigla nalang darating hahahah!

May chance lang po na di ma grant kapag hindi truthful siguro yung mga nakalagay sa application? Let’s claim na grant na yan

We received ITA recently Visa 489 in SA (thank you Lord! and thank you sa help ng members dito on things na hindi ako sure. )

We're about to lodge our visa application, pero di ko pa din makita kung nasaan yung link for generating HAP ID for me and my wife sa Immi account 😀
Would the link be available before submitting/lodging the visa or would it be available after submission (and payment).

@daemon33 kung created na po ung immiaccount nyo, login po kayo then click yung new application > Health tapos follow nyo nln po ung onscreen questions. two hap IDs po ang dapat magenerate for you and wife. Then pag maglodge na po kayo login lang kayo using ung immiaccount with health declaration.

*Visa 189 po ung iseselect nyo wala po ung 489 option.

Hello po. Need ko lang po ng advice nyo. I have applied 1.5 years ago for a tourist visa and my COE as signed by my other male boss is as Business Development Coordinator which I have also put in my application form (but my working visa job name is as Business Coordinator only). Now, I will apply for a migration visa 489 with the same company and will use the designation Business Coordinator. (Note: For Skills Assessment, I used Business Coordinator as signed by my female boss). Ang worry ko lang po is maging delikado yung application namin because of this kasi yung sa tourist application ko before ay Business Development Coordinator yung designation? Any advice po on what I should do? I was thinking to ask my male boss to sign a Statement of Service indicating my designation as Business Coordinator and my HR functions.

Reason for this discrepancy: I was initially offered a Bus. Dev. Coordinator role but they have eventually decided that I will perform HR functions plus other duties.

- I had the same issue but in my case, the 2 position names I used have the same job responsibilities.

Anyway, hindi din naman big deal sa kanila yung may slight difference sa position name because it is expected and very usual for an individual to change position titles over time - whether it is due to promotion, lateral transfer,job evaluation, job title standardization etc.

meaning - if your position at the time of applying for tourist visa is Position x - then nag change siya over time e acceptable naman iyon..

pero syempre ang kalaban natin is yung sarili nating pagka aning aning, because we wanted to submit a hassle free application.
What you can do is submit a cover letter explaining the transition, and if you can back it up with a letter from HR stating the difference (since sa current company mo ito - mas easier to request compared if sa luma kung saan limited na yung demands mo).
You can also show your Employment contract.

Bottomline is provide an answer to each foreseeable question. Make it easier for your case officer. The answers you have provided may or may not matter - pero atleast sa sarili mo alam mong ready ka with an answer, instead na ma surprise ka nalang sa additional question ni CO then you only have very little time to prepare / back up your case.

Sure @chemistmom. Balitaan kita. Although I was advised by my agent na sya na lang mag iindicate ng reason for this discrepancy pero i prepare ko na rin yung Statement of Service with duties. As of now hindi pa kami nakapag lodge. Waiting pa sa ibang requirements.

Hi po, just want to ask. I recently renewed my passport. Is my old passport still considered as 'other current' (expires in January 2020) and do I need to tick "yes" on the following question sa EOI?

Meron k bang Form 80 jan? Yan din kasi ang ifill up mong data from EOI mo kaya careful lang. Yang yung nasa question 10? Kung cancelled passport na sya, hindi na sya magagamit for travel kahit pa sa 2020 expiry,..Baka meron kng “other passport “ kasi dual citizenship ka, yan yung “other current passport” mo, state mo lng jan which country ang nag issue..Goodluck. Once ma claim mo ang iyong new passport, yung existing passport mo becomes cancelled, kaya there is no way na magkakaroon ka ng 2 current Philippine passport.

Technically “other current passport” refers to dual citizenship passports na meron ka.
