Hello maam, you can check https://www.aims.org.au/ kung paano yung application for aims (medical laboratory technician or medical laboratory science). Since one year exp po kayo, matic assessed as MLT na yan. You can also take PTE instead of IELTS. Kasi before ka makalodge ng EOI mo, need yung PTE/IELTS and AIMS (and other docs). Very helpful din if you backread dito sa thread na ito kasi madami na din nagsshare ng experience nila dito about sa application and sa exam mismo

I just want to ask, I am here in Australia and I want my papers to be certified for the assessment, tanong ko lang po if skilled nurses and pharmacist are acceptable to do the certification? Cause i've heard they are allowed to do statutory declaration. If not po, how much would it cost po ba if sa notary public?

Magandang Araw po, new here.
Question lang regarding sa AIMS assessment. Ako po ang main applicant, Engr po ako, medtech naman ang wife ko. This is in reference sa upcoming changes sa point system this coming November. 10 pts additional pag skilled ang spouse.
Pag nagpaassess ba ang wife ko sa AIMS kelangan parin ba talaga nya to score proficient english or band 7 ielts/65 PTE? Or competent english sapat na band6 ielts/50 PTE? Para maclaim namin yung additional 10 points.

@kyloRen let’s wait for the upcoming news and updates on this new rules. Always check the website of DHA for further info. Better yet prepare all the needed docs for you and your wife. Mag English exam na habang wala pa ang Nov 16, pataasan na ng points Yan.
Automatically calculated ang EOI sa changes na yan either single/married/de facto with claimed points.

Thank you @lecia, medyo nalito lang kasi ako sa mga articles na nabasa ko. Nakalagay kasi ay skilled with "competent english" then yung procedure naman sa AIMS band 7 overall. I assumed na since ako naman main applicant and dependent si misis enough na yung competent english which is band 6.

@kyloRen nalito ka nga. To clarify things for you. I assume magpapa assess pa lng si mrs mo na medtech anoh? To be eligible for assessment dapat ang OVERALL SCORE nya ay 65 sa PTE or 7 sa ielts,. Read nyo pareho ang guidelines sa aims.gov.au..
Pra makaclaim kayo ng partner points, dapat positive ang skillss assessment ni mrs mo at may english exam sya ( which either competent or proficient; yan ang aabangan natin sa mga susunod na kabata, updates from DHA) .
