@agentKams oo kaya naman. Sa pinas nga 7 sabay sabay pa at closed books pa.. ang pinagkaiba lang dito may essay at konti ang available na materials to practice di tulad sa pinas sobrang dami ng problems na automatic na ang pag compute pagkakita agad ng problems. Hahahahah

If you are a CPA in the Philippines and a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) (reckon every CPA is a member of PICPA), just get a Letter of Good Standing from PICPA and send it to CPAA together with the form for work experience to get an exemption for the required three (3) years work experience.

Exams nalang ang problema mo and shelling-out some pesos, parang 3k lang ata binayaran ko, for the letter of good standing is way way much better than waiting for three years to gain experience or to ask from previous managers to certify your prior work experiences (hirap din humingi ng favor tapos mag-eexplain kapa kung paano i-fill up yung form. 😂 hahaha)

Thanks for confirming this! Ilang ulit ko pa binasa sa CPAA website yan.. Nagrequest na ko Letter of Good standing sa PICPA...

Saang chapter ka member? Tumawag ako sa Membership, kailangan daw personal ang pag request ng Certificate of Good standing. Kung overseas, magpapunta daw ng representative tapos meron authorization letter at copy ng CPA license. Expired na yata CPA license ko e.. Meron ako certificate, kaso last 2016 pa issued.

Paano ka nagrequest nung sayo?

@pink dumaan ako sa picpa nung nauwi akong pinas. Tanda ko yung license ginamit lang para kopyahin yung details mo.

@HMC72 nagbayad kaba dati? Kasi ngayon ndi ka nila bibigyan ng LoGS kapag hindi ka active member (may arrears kang unpaid membership fee).

Ok na po.. nagpa transfer ako ng membership to Cavite Chapter then doon na ko nagrequest ng COGS.
Mas madali magrequest doon kesa sa Manila chapter. Email lang tsaka update ng bayad sa membership at bayad sa COGS ng 112 pesos.

No need if you’re claiming for an exemption through a full membership in an IFAC body, e.g. PICPA member. Otherwise you will have to nominate an IFAC member that will review, verify and sign-off the form for the skills you are claiming for.

The exemption from the above, including the details on how to apply for such exemption, is expressly stipulated in item #B of the experience claim form, which you can verify from the link provided hereunder:
