Based sa PDOS seminar, hanggat hindi pa tayo nakakapasok sa Australia hindi pa activated ang pagiging Permanent Resident natin. Ngayon tayo ay Emigrant pa lang, after initial entry, doon pa lang maactivate ang ating Permanent Residency or matatawag na Immigrant ng Australia. Hanggat hindi pa activated Permanent Residency obligado pa rin tayo magbayad ng travel tax, pero once activated na meaning sa pangalawang pasok natin sa AU exempted na tayo sa travel tax.

Hello! Natanong na po ito probably ilang beses na, pero sa mga nagBM this january, hiningan po ba kayo ng polio vaccine cert? Magbig move narin po kasi ako this feb, God permits so pinagiisipan ko kung magpapavaccine pa ba ako. Parang last year po kasi di naman hiningi. Thank you!

BM namen ng wife and kid ko is before the 2nd qtr ends.
We are under SN SC190 Visa - NSW.
my wife is the main and ako/ on is dependent.

Bka may same situation, any chance na may naka pag work ba sa ibang State kahit under ka ng SC190 Visa NSW.

Hello po, based sa mga nababasa ko dito, makakapag stay at makakapag work ka naman sa ibang state kahit visa 190, pero it's a moral obligation to stay sa state na nag nominate sayo for two years. Baka maka affect sa citizenship application sa future.

@skid_03 I think yes, need ng CFO sticker. Unless po kc that you fall in the category of exempted individuals, or temporary migrants (Tourist, students) you need to undergo the PDOS and get a CFO sticker. That's my opinion. Try to ask other 489 holders who have arrived na in Au.

the earlier the better kasi pag malapit na eh baka marami kang maalala na dapat gawin... check the CFO website for the earliest sched na convenient at malapit sayo... slots are limited din kasi.

No need for pro license. Basta more than 3 years ka na nag dridirve at makapasa mo online exam and practical exam full license agad ibibigay sayo.

@jennahvelasquez tama si @Noodles12. you have a few months to practice and get familiar with road rules and courtesy. the few months though would depend kung saang state ka. example in NSW you can use your ph license 3mos from the time you received your PR.

Aug 2017 kc naissue yung non-pro ko, BM namin is this Apr2020. So kulang pa ako ng 4mos to meet the 3 years criteria 🙁 or pwede na Aug2020 na lang ako mag-apply ng full driver's license para 3 years?😊 NSW po kami.

Also the 3 years criteria, hindi po sya makikita sa driver's license ID.. so yun po ba yung kukunin na certification sa LTO to know how long na nagdadrive? So kulang talaga ako ng 4mos before our BM

Actually hindi ko alam pano nila chinecheck kung ilang taon ka na nag dridrive or kung pano nila vineverify. Pero sa form kasi na fifillupan mo ilalagay mo dun yung year kung kelan ka nagka license then dun masasabi kung ilang taon ka na nag dridrive.

Sakin nga hindi ko sure eh kung 2008 or 2009 pero nilagay ko nalang 2009 which wala naman nag verify kung 2009 ako talaga nag start mag drive. Plus yung PH license na pinakita ko is expired na.

Mag drdrive ka na ba agad pag dating mo dito? As in may auto ka na agad? kasi pde mo pa naman gamitin PH license mo ng 3 months if nde ka pa nag IE or hintayin mo mag 4 months bago ka mag practical exam.

ang alam ko is yung year. sample C07-07-123456 yung second set of digits 07 is equals 2007. Not sure kung nalalaman nila what month na issue.

Sa license number makikita kung anung year naissue sayo yung license mo.
Nakalimutan ko na kung saan forum ko nabasa pero yun yung sinabi ko nung nag-apply ako for license in nsw.

example: license number is B01-00-123456. yung 00 is yung year of issue. in this case year 2000 issued.

@Noodles12 , advise kc ng cousin ko in sydney, better if full license kc if hindi, useless din.. need din ng full license na kasama.. and easier daw kc makagalaw once nakakadrive mag-isa and may car lalo na if malayo sa train station yung apartment.
Around 4k-5k daw po makakabili na ng maayos na 2nd hand car. Or pwede din nila ipahiram car nila of hindi gamit (that is if makikituloy kami sa kanila temporarily).
Nahihiya kc kami and mahirap kumilos if nakikituloy.

Anyway, ang target ko kc talaga is full na para if ever, ready to drive na po after application.
What are your thoughts po about buying car?

Sana talaga year na lang 🙏😊 i'm here sa nbi right now.. ang haba ng pila.. reqt for PH pro driving license.. tinuloy ko na lang din nbi clearance para if needed talag Pro, madali na lng magapply. Confirm ko sa cousin ko if ok lang na 2017-nonpro driving license ko for full license dyan.

@jennahvelasquez as mentioned sa response ko sayo above, tama ka dyan sa year. nung nag apply ako ng nsw license tinanong ako kung anong year issued, sinabi ko lang yung middle number nga yung year of issue. tapos may vinerify nila (i dunno how) then they said license is good.

Tama nga yung sabi nila about the year na makikita sa license number. In that case 08 pa pala ako nagka license.

I think full license naman makukuha mo basta maipasa mo license exams.

Pero sa tingin ko ang kelangan mo muna intindihin is yung makapasa ka. lol Hindi din naman kasi basta basta yung exam dito unlike sa PH. And magagamit mo pa naman PH license mo ng 3 months so makakapag practice ka pa and familiarise sa road rules and courtesy, plus right hand drive dito, so sa simula medyo malilito ka ng onti.

Kung sakali naman na wala ka pa ngang sasakyan habang nag hihintay na magka license, let say hinintay mo yung 4 months para sure ka na 3 yrs eh okay naman ang commute dito. Like bus and trains. Google maps lang ang katapat para makita mo scheds ng bus.

Try to take ng mga 1-2 driving lessons. Main reason is para ma familiarize sa route nun practical exam at simple tips para mapasa agad (like head checks etc) .

Also, hindi natatapos ang cost ng sasakyan sa pagbili. Isama na rin sa budget, ang comprehensive car insurance (depends on location at kotse) , annual registration (ctp, gren slip at pink slip), maintenance at funds kung sakali ipapaayos ang sasakyan lalo na kung may edad na yun sasakyan. Medyo mahal din pala parking dito.

Sa pag settle namin dito, two years bago kami nag decide na bumili ng sasakyan. Hindi dahil hindi namin kaya. Ang pinaka dahilan is hindi namin kailangan. Tumira kami sa area na maganda ang public transport kahit medyo mahal ang rent. For long drives, nagrerent kami ng kotse if needed.

Bumili na lang kami ng kotse nun nakabili na kami ng bahay at dahil medyo malayo yun train station at shops (2km) at medyo malayo sa school ng anak namin
