@Noodles12 , yeah.. so ganyan na nga lang gagawin ko. Wait na lang 4mos to be sure na 3 years before apply. Since si husband naman is sure full license na kc more than 10years na din license nya.

@kramkramkram thanks!
Share ko lang, my cousin's business is real estate in sydney.. so sabi nya if first time home buyer, may 10k daw na binibigay ang gov't.
How much po monthly nyo sa house and ilan years to pay?

Thank you po sa mga advise nyo 😍

Mayroon First Home Owners Grant which is about 10k sa NSW. 15k yun dati. Repayments is based sa borrowed amount at lenght ng loan. May mga calculator online like

    https://www.commbank.com.au/digital/home-buying/calculator/home-loan-repayments.

Aside from repayments, additional cost ng owning a house ang council rates, water (free pag renting), annual fee ng loan, home and content insurance(optional pero recommended) at strata (pag sa unit/condo/apartment)

Sa mga nakapag try na, which is a better option in funding your Australian Bank account from the Philippines?

    A. Fund transfer from PH Bank to AU Bank (ex. BPI Dollar Account to NAB)
    B. Fund transfer using IRemit to AU Bank

    Appreciate your suggestions :)

guys question lang, if you have a PH drivers license, I know that you need to take the knowledge and practical test some states are also required you to take other tests (hazard, etc). worst-case scenario, what if you failed the practical driving test? or any test in particular? Balik ko ba from zero? like you have to apply na as learners license? or take lang nang take hanggat pumasa?

At may L sticker sa car mo while driving.

@skid_03 I think yes, need ng CFO sticker. Unless po kc that you fall in the category of exempted individuals, or temporary migrants (Tourist, students) you need to undergo the PDOS and get a CFO sticker. That's my opinion. Try to ask other 489 holders who have arrived na in Au.

@corrappyka_CE salamat po, nagreply na rin si CFO, no need daw pa temp.

Saang state ka mag move? Iba iba rules ng bawat state.

And yes, kapag verified ang non-pro licence mo sa Victoria, full licence ang ibibigay sayo after passing all the tests.

Wala dating verification but recently naglagay sila extra step kasi maraming nahuhuling fraudulent licences.

Tnx.

4 years na ko sa Melbourne and I highly recommend Eastern (Around Burwood farthest na Mitcham) and Southeastern Suburbs (Malvern, Caulfield, hanggang Mordialloc)

balak ko by this coming April.
ask ko lang din if anyone had tried bring their gaming PC sa oz? any issue? kailangan ba ng resibo?
benta ko nlng sana kaso wala pa budget pang bili bago so i decided na dalhin ko nlng muna, kahit CPU lang.

be careful sa contents ng HDD. I sold mine then bought a midrange laptop before BM na ngayon ay pinagsisihan ko. Mas mura dito!

yup i know about the contents of HDD.
so mas mura dyan parts pag DIY PC? i've check kasi sa sites and parang mas mura pa din dito sa SG or halod pareho lang.

anyways, the reason why im bringing kasi wala pa budget para bumili ng pang palit. hahaha.

Hello just wanted to ask your advice lang po, we’ll be having our big move in Sydney next month and so far based on my research and others suggestions okay sa Chatswood and Ryde areas. We have been in Sydney but only within the CBD and Blue Monuntains area, appreciate if you can give us advice on which areas okay din mag scout kami ng place to stay. We are a couple and no kids yet. Important for us yung accessible ng public transpo/close to a train line since we don’t have a car yet, safety and proximity to markets. Thank you in advance :)

*May 2016 -Heard one friend sharing stories about Australia
-Had my research the ff.day about my job opportunity in Australia
-Become aware about PTE, ANZSCO and VETASSESS
    *Sept.2016 - 1st attempt of PTE (Dubai). LRSW = 83/71/76/83
*Dec.2016 - Submitted docs to VETASSESS for Skills Assessment
*Feb.2017 - Positive result from VETASSESS
(Only chance of EOI was in SA which require high points for a 489 visa)
*Mar.2017 - 2nd attempt of PTE (Phil). LRSW = 86/76/65/90 (unsuccessful to get superior)
    *Nov.2017- I turned 40, which means minus 10 pts. =(
    - Started to lose hope and forget my Aus dream for a while
*July 2018 - NT, SA and Tasmania were open
    - I needed to get a superior score from PTE
*Aug. 2018 - 3rd attempt of PTE (Dubai). LRSW = 57/69/84/56 (scores were awful)
(Despite my scores, I am determined and wont stop til i get that superior)

Hi. Arrived at Melbourne this 15. We enrolled in Medicare nung 16, go early, go to the self-service kiosk and fill out and print the form then line up sa check in para mabilis process.

About Centrelink, hindi kami pinagenroll. Hindi daw kami eligible. May 12-month waiting period for PRs na nabigyan ng grant after Jan 2019. Anyone else had a different experience?? I was told that Family Tax Benefit B (we have a kid) has no waiting period pero nalaman ko nalang ito nung nakauwi na kami.

Nakadating kami without presenting our immunisation record.

At last, after 10 months of waiting, our visa was granted yesterday :) Plan namin mag BM either June or July kasi tapusin muna namin school ng panganay namin na until May. We are a family of 4 and we'll be moving to Sydney. Wala pa kami particular suburb to stay permanently but pagdating we will stay muna sa relatives ko sa Minchinbury while looking for a house and school.

Same po kami ng misis nyo po. I think wala pong problem to kasi upon application sa immi account di tumatanggap ng any punctuation marks sa name field. Same as sa PRC registration.

Thanks

Yes. Yung asawa ko is Architect in the Philippines. but napunta siya sa linya ng ID nung nag work kami dito sa SG. Pinaassess namin yung sa VETASSESS niya is Interior Design. positive naman results. As long as majajustify mo na ID tlaga work mo. HIndi nila kinount yung isang company niya na magkahalong Archi and ID kasi most ng job description niya sa Company na yun is Archi. Hope this helps.

Hi newbie din here, we are from SG and Graduate din kami ni husband ng Architecture but our experiences both UAE and SG are more of Interior. We area planning to apply/move to Australia this 2020 as well, God willing. May I know which state kayo nag apply? As ive seen NSW and Tasmania nalang ang open for 190 state sponsorship. Did you hire any migration agent or you lodged independently. Thank you in advance sa mag rerelply

Question po regarding the documents you will be bringing sa AU:

    1. Do we need to have all documents may Apostille from DFA (Red-ribbon authenticated)? If so what are the documents needed to have them authenticated?
    2. Will a CTC from a notary public suffice instead of having Apostille?
    3. I already asked this during our PDOS, and would like to again confirm: Documents printed in PSA paper and sealed doesn't require authentication (i.e. Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate). Tama po ba eto? How about school documents which are sealed like diplomas and transcript of records?
    4. Do we need to have our employment documents (e.g. COE, Employment contract) authenticated?

Appreciate if you guys can give us an insight regarding these. Thanks!
