Hello Guys! My wife is 6 weeks pregnant and wala pa kami sa OZ. okay lang naman noh?
no need for any documents. Totoo ba na maging citizen yung baby kapag doon ipanganak?

Hello, we are on the same boat. Sana may nakakaalam kung may need gawin. Salamat sa inyo. Congrats pala!

just saw this. might worth reading... https://expatforum.com/expats/australia-expat-forum-expats-living-australia/369585-wife-pregnant-after-google-page-ranking-grant.html

congrats to you too @tesu ... yeah, I came across a similar discussion and spoke with a few PR friends who are already in Australia and gave birth there. Most of them are saying the following things:

    1. If Born there, then the baby will acquire citizenship at birth.
    2. Hospitable bills will be covered by the government/medicare or in other words giving birth is for free as long as it is in the a public system. (Not sure about this yet and hopefully someone can confirm.)
    3. fly to australia as soon as possible as it's not safe and healthy for the baby. they say 4 to 5 months is allowed to fly.

@tmasuncion thank you! actually, I'm a bit stressed kung anong magiging decision naming. my wife is 1.5 months pregnant and OB told us to fly the earliest possible but with the ongoing pandemic mejo mahirap gawin. :(

Me and my wife are planning this year din sana for her to get pregnant coz mag 34 na sya.

I hope na maging ok wife ko til magdeliver sya.

Just pray lang boss and of course due diligence pagdating sa diet..nahirapan din kami bumuo..diet and exercise malaking tulong and kung nagssmoke kayo stop na talaga..wishing you the best!

Adelaide Airport, wala masyado tao. Mabilis lang din ang queue, then they advised me to do self-isolation. Tatanungin din nila kung galing ka sa China, South Korea or Italy the past few days, 'yun mga nag-"Yes" meron sila separate lane after immigration. Di ko sure kung ano gagawin nila. Maliit lang din ang airport, pagkuha mo ng luggage sa belt bag, diretso ka na sa custom, hihingin lang yun card, tapos either diretso palalabasin ka na or titignan pa luggage mo, in my case pinalabas na ako kaagad.

Paglabas ko ng airport, meron malapit na convenience store, tabi lang actually. doon ako bumili ng sim card (optus) worth 20$ with 45GB na ata yun good for 28 days. Walking distance lang din ang bus station from the airport, maybe 3 minutes then from airport to CBD nasa 25 minutes lang, yun hotel na tinutuluyan ko sa CBD mismo eh.

I am on my 12th day of self-isolation dito sa hotel, SA Health and SA Police do the random inspection sa mga hotel, they will call the hotel kung doon ka talaga nag-stay.

first impression ko sa Adelaide. wala traffic at konti lang ang tao sa CBD. medyo chill ang vibe or laidback niya compared sa Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane at Gold Coast. maaga rin nagsasara ang mga establishments, and generally, friendly mga tao.

Quarantining will be shouldered by the state which is favorable in regard to cost. However, i've read this news too:

Will you be coming from Manila? We also plan to do our BM this Apr. All flights from PAL are cancelled until end of ecq.

Question, if IED namin is this April, meron ba sinabi pano yung treatment? If in case lang ma extend yung ecq? Tried emailing yung mga email addresses binigay on this group.
