The DHA will respect and trust the assessment from the relevant assessing authority.

The skills assessment outcome is usually the opinion of the skills assessment authority but it doesn’t guarantee the awarding of any points under the skilled migration points test as the determination of points remains at the discretion of case officers of DHA. So never assume that if skills assessment is positive, it will be all good. You still need to check the accuracy of your supporting documents, that they meet the DHA requirements.

Sorry. I should have said "will generally respect...". Yes the point test advise is not binding to the DHA albeit it has a significant consideration. But I don't think DHA will fault you at all if you claim what your assessing authority gave you, and usually they will ask for additional supporting docs but if they were still not convinced, would they consider you misrepresenting thus getting a visa ban?

Yes, they will ask for further documents to back up the points being claimed. If they are still not convinced, the visa will be denied not necessary a visa ban though. That’s why we prefer to service our clients from the start of the visa process because we tailor their documents in accordance to both the skills assessment and DHA requirements. When clients who sign up with us half way in the process, it’s usually more work our end as it entails reviewing the documents they used during skills assessment application, checking if they meet DHA requirements and redoing what was done if necessary.

In the first place, you should inform the contact person na nilagay mo about the chances na tawagan sila na vetassess.

Hindi ito verified ha... Pero based sa experience ko at nasabi rin sa ibang foreign forums, pag prioirty processing sa Vetassess, they will rarely call your employers - purely document based sila for this process. Kung mag priority ka at tinanggap nila yung docs mo as good for priority processing, most likely they will not call your employers.

    Oh no...Haha lagot ako.

I think okay lang kung sabihan ko past bosses na baka tawagan sila for VETASSESS pero yung mgasend ako ng confidential files baka magalit sila. Hmmmm

I see...kaya lang sayang din ang pera for priority processing kasi sarado na rin naman ang AU for applications. May oras pa para maghintay at magtipid. Pag-iisipan ko anong magandang strategy hehe. Thanks po sa advice

That’s definitely hearsay. Always assume VETASSESS May call the employer to verify employment.

No one knows exactly how they do it. You better check it with VETASSESS. At the end of the day you shouldn’t provide something confidential. You need to check with VETASSESS how to go about this rather checking here as you won’t get any accurate answer.

    All the best.

    Hi po!

I am a bachelor graduate in architecture with a 7-year professional experience as a site supervisor/ project engineer/ planning officer in a general contractor. My job is related to being a Construction Project Manager per the job code. What are the chances na maging positive ang VETASSESS sa akin?

And never naging "manager" ang job title ko. How true na magiging zero (0) experience ako?

For me kasi, kapag sinabi mong architect ka, hindi naman lahat nagddrawing ka, some are site architect, landscape architect, etc etc.

    Hi again.

My husband is an associate graduate of computer science. And he is now a Graphic Designer for 7 years.

    Thank you. :)

Mas madaling mainvite ang graphic artist last year. Onti lang kasi ang aoplicants. Try niyong mag paassess pareho. Para makaclaim ng points kau for spouse, kahit sinu man sa inyo ang mainvite.

Hello. When I received the outcome of my Full Skills Assessment, they included the Points Test Advice as well.

Saka pag sinabing 10 years na assesment po ba, 10 years from now (2020~2010) or basta 10 years na work experience, may 2008 and 2009 kasi ako na experience sayang din....

My first eligible job was also from 11/2008 til 03/2014, then second eligible job from 09/2013 to 03/2019 (at the time of assessment), so what they did was they took one year from 11/2008 to 11/2009 as my qualifying period to identify my date deemed skilled. All years/months after 11/2009 was counted towards my Points Test Advice. In your case, if your 2008 and 2009 experiences are related to your nominated occupation, declare it.

Hello. When I received the outcome of my Full Skills Assessment, they included the Points Test Advice as well.

Mam one more question if you don't mind, Full Skills Assesment with PTA, will that includes 2 employers? (I have 2) I've read that in here, it depends on the number of employers? Is that correct?

Hi @erwayne. The outcome letter of the Full Skills Assessment with PTA is all in one document including the recognized and "AQF equated" qualifications (e.g. AQF Bachelor degree), the country of employment, employment assessed, and the outcome (e.g. positive). After that particular section of the outcome letter comes the Points Test Advice which lists (1) all assessed "relevant-to-nominated-occupation" employment history, (2) the date deemed skilled, and (3) the number of years assessed positively (i.e. combined number of years of having worked under the nominated occupation across all employers) . In my experience, my outcome letter stated the two jobs from the two employers that I have mentioned above. I did not receive separate outcomes for each employer. I am not sure if within one year's time from my outcome, VETASSESS has changed any of the process so this, I cannot verify to you.

Yes. Write all your job in the resume. Kasi pag nainvite ka and naglodgw ng visa, you will answer Form 80, which you will need to disclose all your jobs. It should be the same on the resume you sent to vetassess.

Hi po, while doing my application wala naman po ako nakita na for upload ng resume. pero kasi nasa list ng documents needed yung resume. Medyo naguguluhan lng po ako kung need pa ba or not.

Check mo mabuti. Either resume or CV yung document. I remember meron. Required yan.
