    Thanks @MumVeng .

Did anyone experience a different opinion from EA re their Relevant Skills Employment Assessment?

In my case, may two years na hindi nabilang ng assessor dahil doon sa requirement about "5 main duties and responsibilities". As some of us here already gone through the process, we also are aware that a mere certificate of employment is not sufficient. Hence, I am wondering what are the chances of being able to claim the additional points (for actual application within the DHA) from work experience that was not counted by EA? Or baka magka problema lang? Meron na ba nakaranas ng ganito?

    Salamat

possible na magkaiba ng opinion ung DOHA and EA pagdating dun sa work exp.. pero based from experience nag rerely ung DOHA mostly sa anumang sinabi ng EA.... pero case to case basis pa din...

Thank you mugsy. In my case kasi, hindi recognised ng EA yung 3 years ko, 5 years lang yung total na nakalagay sa outcome letter (then kita yung gaps sa dates). Sayang kasi, if I claim yung 3 years na yon, I would have a total of 8 years at least, so additional 5 points din yon.

    You have two options po.
    1. Informal Review= should be done within 3 months after result.
    2. Appeal = if you still have negative outcome after the informal review.

Since it's a requirement issue, I think it would be approved once you give the necessary document. Please check the list of primary and secondary documents needed. Or, contact EA and ask them why the 3 years were not considered and explain you intend to apply for an informal review soon.

The benefit is your employment experience has been officially assessed as relevant. It lessens the risk you are over claiming points and gives you that peace of mind that you’re claiming the appropriate experience.

Hindi rin ako nag-RSEA, less gastos. :) Basta ba confident ka sa documents na meron ka and make sure na kumpleto ang mga proof mo ng employment.

I'm curious about this as well but honestly, it's more worth hearing from people who already have a visa grant and did not undergo RSEA and were able to claim ALL their work experience successfully.

Remember, almost all of us here are confident about our skills and experience but that doesn't necessarily mean DHA and assessing authorities agree with our confidence kahit pa ulanan mo sila ng supposed supporting documents. Their standard is just different from what we think is ok.

I think wala naman kasi talagang nakalagay sa MSA booklet na required ang RSEA, that's why it's optional. At the end of the day, choice pa rin naman ng applicant if he/she will do it or not. But of course, mas okay talaga na gawin na agad ang RSEA kasabay ng EA assessment para sure na agad and less risk na sa huli.

In your case @icomanman, since ngayon pa lang eh pinuna na ni EA 'yung experience mo and hindi in-acknowledge 'yung 3 years (due to insufficient documents - detailed duties and responsibilities, etc.), baka mas okay nga na mag-RSEA ka. I think 'yung COE with detailed duties and responsibilities ang pinaka-critical na document in proving that your work experience is relevant sa nominated occupation mo. So without it, medyo less talaga ang chance. :)

cguro on top of confidence mo s skills and work experience na relevant, dapat clear sa applicant ang requirements para sure sya sa claim nya.

mine was straightforward kaya malinaw sakin ang supporting docs na need ko to claim points

    @icomanman, question pala:

You were saying pala na 5 years lang ang in-acknowledge ni EA and hindi sinama ang other 3 years. Hindi pa ba RSEA ang ginawa mo?

Napa-check ako bigla sa EA outcome letter ko for my MSA - CDR application, wala naman naka-specify na nag-acknowledge sila ng certain number of years. Pa-confirm nga para malinawan din ako hahaha

Magandang umaga. Were you honest about why you need it? Thanks

Thanks @Captain_A.

@haringkingking yes, I'm done with the RSEA.

From July 2010 to Oct 2012, isang employer lang ako, pero since matagal na, hindi ko nahanap yong ITR ko ng 2011 (na hiningi nila) so hindi na credit entire 2011.

Then after that, self-employed na ko with complete tax records and client references. Yung kaso from 2014 to 2016, hindi tinanggap ng former supervisor ko yung letter na ginawa ko with the list of duties; although nag bigay sya ng sarili nya endorsement, without the detailed list nga lang. Alam nyo naman dito sa pinas, usually standard certificate of employment, title and period lang naka lagay, unless i request mo yung detalyado.

I'm done with the RSEA; optional sya kaya hindi naka lagay sa lahat ng MSA. Anyway, I hope we can keep in touch and maka hingi ng feedback mo after mo ma invite and mag lodge.

Saka kung titingnan mo kasi, mukhang mas maluwag yung requirements from DHA compared sa EA (the reason why I'm asking for those who did not undergo RSEA):

@GreyM sa akin, I asked for letter of reference, including list ng duties.

Most likely HR keeps record of your JOB OFFER letter. Baka po pwede uli kayo magrequest formally and then CC to your manager, HR manager.

Whether you ask for a review with EA or not, in the end po, hihingi pa din ang DHA ng documents to support your claim of years of experience. Kaya po no choice kayo but to really get them ready.

(Page 28, MSA Booklet)

Clarify ko lang po, meron po ako letters regarding doon sa period, as I've mentioned, nag bigay sya ng sarili nya endorsement, 1 formal letter, statement via email. Ok naman sana. But if you read yung requirements ng EA, kailangan don yung "at least 5 main duties and responsibilities", yan yung hindi naka lagay doon.

Re SSS, nag bigay po ako. The assessor specifically asked for the ITR. Although may pay slip naman din ako. Iba rin talaga.

So looking doon sa online EOI form, sa tingin nyo ba sasabihin nilang nag "over claim" ka kung nilagay mo doon yung employment period? Meron naman akong letters and tax records; wala lang talagang list of duties.

Sir, @icomanman, I agree with you po. It's just their policy po na kapag hindi kumpleto ung primary and secondary mo hindi nila ia-assess.

We are dealing with the government so solid po dapat ang paperwork natin.

    Thanks @MumVeng.

Clarify ko lang po, meron po ako letters regarding doon sa period, as I've mentioned, nag bigay sya ng sarili nya endorsement, 1 formal letter, statement via email. Ok naman sana. But if you read yung requirements ng EA, kailangan don yung "at least 5 main duties and responsibilities", yan yung hindi naka lagay doon.

Re SSS, nag bigay po ako. The assessor specifically asked for the ITR. Although may pay slip naman din ako. Iba rin talaga.

So looking doon sa online EOI form, sa tingin nyo ba sasabihin nilang nag "over claim" ka kung nilagay mo doon yung employment period? Meron naman akong letters and tax records; wala lang talagang list of duties.

    Thanks sa insights @Captain_A, @MumVeng and @jakibantiles.

I'm now curious re those cases nag pa assess ng qualifications sa EA pero hindi nag RSEA (since optional sya).

    i did this.

    Skills assessment lng no rsea

Thanks @Captain_A.

@haringkingking yes, I'm done with the RSEA.

From July 2010 to Oct 2012, isang employer lang ako, pero since matagal na, hindi ko nahanap yong ITR ko ng 2011 (na hiningi nila) so hindi na credit entire 2011.

Then after that, self-employed na ko with complete tax records and client references. Yung kaso from 2014 to 2016, hindi tinanggap ng former supervisor ko yung letter na ginawa ko with the list of duties; although nag bigay sya ng sarili nya endorsement, without the detailed list nga lang. Alam nyo naman dito sa pinas, usually standard certificate of employment, title and period lang naka lagay, unless i request mo yung detalyado.

Yes, Sir. Option 1, kailangan ung details of your job description or you can do Option 2, with Job Offer letter. They're about the same kasi ang gusto nila makita is yung details ng ginagawa natin if this is inline with the ANZCO description.

If they asked specifically for the ITR despite the other documents, you will have to give it or provide a reason why you can't provide it. I sent you a PM po of where you can request it fast. Try nyo po, sana active yung service during this pandemic.

    @icomanman, question pala:

You were saying pala na 5 years lang ang in-acknowledge ni EA and hindi sinama ang other 3 years. Hindi pa ba RSEA ang ginawa mo?

Napa-check ako bigla sa EA outcome letter ko for my MSA - CDR application, wala naman naka-specify na nag-acknowledge sila ng certain number of years. Pa-confirm nga para malinawan din ako hahaha

I'm done with the RSEA; optional sya kaya hindi naka lagay sa lahat ng MSA. Anyway, I hope we can keep in touch and maka hingi ng feedback mo after mo ma invite and mag lodge.

:) Sige balitaan kita kapag na-invite and nakapag-lodge na nako. (SANAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! LORD PLEASE!)

Eto maganda 'yung nahanap ni @MumVeng. "More benefial outcome" daw ang ia-apply hihi.

If you will claim it sa EOI, better be ready with the REQUIRED DOCUMENTS talaga. Like in your case, hindi ka lang talaga nakapag-bigay ng detailed COE nung RSEA application mo kaya hindi siya na-acknowledge. And considering optional nga lang ang RSEA, I think, may chance ka pa to prove sa DHA kapag na-invite and nakapag-lodge ka na.

Anyway, hindi rin ako 100% sure. And at the end of the day, it's your decision. Good luck! :)

Magandang umaga. Were you honest about why you need it? Thanks

    Hi.

I’m a CE graduate and my job description is quantity surveyor. My job is more on the pre-contract stage. (Bidding/Tender) I would like to ask for some tips on where should I get my skills assessed? AIQS, EA or VETASSESS?

I actually messaged the AIQS. They said that they haven’t assessed a CE degree as suitable in the last 3 years.

    Thank you

Hi Rellie, san ka nagpa assess? Salamat.

Nice! Galing naman ni @MumVeng. At least this tells us something. We can now understand why optional talaga ang RSEA. Maraming Salamat sa inyo. Also to you @haringkingking. All the best sa atin!
