Maraming salamat and God bless po!

Baka my naka experience na po dito or any insights po.
Overseas experience ko is from 2010-2013, so sa eoi my 5pts siya before.
Nag auto update si EOI, nawala un points ko for overseas experience.
Tama po ba un? sabi naman in the last 10years sa immi, so dapat un wala na points is 2007-2010?
salamat sa sasagot.

Hello Everyone,
I'm planning to start my journey in AU by applying for a PR. I'm a system / database administrator with 8 years of expi, I already asked 2 agents on how to apply.
1st agent: "Your nominated occupation is listed in short term list and it is closed. We would like to give you an honest feedback that at this stage, Regions, States/Territory are closed for nomination but we cannot assure you when they will re-open. Therefore, we do not advise you to make an application at this stage as it will lead to unfavorable outcome"
2nd agent: Start with getting your skills assessment. If you get a positive skills assessment, that’s a good start. You may want to wait for the occupation list to come out but if you do that, you may miss the opportunity, should your occupation be on the list. Getting your skills assessment done will determine what you need to do.
Can you help me guys? should I go for the skill assessment? What will happen if i got a positive result or should I wait first the opening of Region?

You might want to consider Canada instead of Australia for more certainty. Iba ang climate for migration ngayon and yung skill mo na Sys Ad is hindi ata priority skill. If may disposable money ka (we’re talking about hundred thousands of pesos) Go and risk! Good luck

@Niman Migration is always a risk, whether now or pre-covid. It's just a matter of whether you're willing to wait till things get better, or consider other options. I'm no migration agent or expert, but with the current trends on invitation, I would recommend to first look at whether you can get enough points given your background (not skills assessment). If you are applying from offshore, you need a lot of points to get an invite (recent trends on 189 visa invites are at around 90+ points, not much info on 190 visa invites, this number could be lower depending on occupation). Australian work experience and education (esp in regional area) is beginning to weigh more than years of overseas experience because onshore applicants can get at least 15 points (combination of AU education, studying in regional area, NAATI, professional year, AU work experience).

Hello po sa lahat.. may question po ako.. Is the CEMI will justify na si wife (dependent) ay english speaking? Qualified po ba ito? and also maka claim na po ba ng 5 points if 190 visa? your reply will be highly appreciated.

Get yourself document ready which means, get your skills assessed. I’m an agent and that’s what I advice aspiring migrants. Good luck.

Hi! I just want to ask if you can recommend a migration consultant for our case. We have lodged in our applications last March complete with Vetassess results and IELTS. We scored at 90 only. We want to look for options as to how we can raise our points and chances to get invited. We tried to contact a migration specialist but they kind of declined our request to be assesses since we already started our application on our own. Hope someone can give their recoms. Thanks!

Hi everyone! I just want to ask you guys on my chances of getting an invitation as I'm planning to apply for 189 visa.
I'm a communication arts graduate, spent 5.5 years working in an Advertising Company and currently on my 4th year working in the Marketing Industry. I'm not sure though if my line of work is needed in Australia but I did see naman yung advertising and marketing sa list of jobs in the immi website.
Any thoughts and comments will be greatly appreciated. Maraming Salamat!

@sarahgon I was able to migrate with Marketing Specialist as my nominated occupation. You have to check which states will sponsor your nominated occupation and see if you can meet their sponsorship requirements.

189 wouldn’t be an option for your occupation. Likely you’ll fall under Marketing Specialist. Check to tasks defined by ANZSCO. Good luck.

Hi! Just wondering, if I retake the IELTS General and get a superior score for added points, will they counter it or say its invalid with my IELTS Academic which is required for AITSL (Teachers Skills Assessment)? Unfortunately I missed the superior mark by 0.5 with the IELTS Academic test writing portion.

Another question pa po ulit.
Yung sa EOI ko po kasi MAIDEN name pa rin ang ginamit ko since wala po ako valid ID na MARRIED name ko. Even my passport is under my MAIDEN name during the time I applied for assessment and EOI.
Now, magexpire na po yung passport ko on april 2021. I am planning to renew it before maglodge ng visa app. Mag-apply na po ba ako using my MARRIED name or stick with my MAIDEN since all docs I used was under my MAIDEN name?
All my status were married naman and nag-attach ako ng marriage cert namin ni hubby.
Any thoughts po? Thank you

No it won’t be. The academic test was meant for AITSL Assessment only and not fir claiming points. Hence you can use the general one for migration purposes.

Use your current passport that you applied with. Then renew it after you lodge the application. May button sa Immiaccount where you can upload the new passport.

As my comments before this, u can use your current passport to lodged on your application. Then update application to upload your new passport. If gusto mong ichange yung name mo to married name, iba ata ang button na pipindutin dun. Update passport with change name or something. Hndi ko pa to natatry. Kasi same name lang yung nirenew kong passport, pero nakita ko yung option na yun while changing mine.

@maguero Thank you for your reply! Does this mean that I cannot apply for 190 visa if I don't get nominated by a state? or added points sya on my assessment? Will you advise me to postpone my submission of EOI this year to next year to be safe? which visa were you able to get under Marketing Specialist?

@RheaMARN1171933 thank you for the reply! I have another question though. Will my experience in the Advertising Company for 5.5 years be considered also for the points even though i'm applying for Marketing Specialist? when I checked the VETASSESS Marketing Specialist kasi it seems the 2 are connected in terms of the list of highly relevant tasks and major fields of study. Sayang din kasi

You’re asking a specific question which requires more facts. I can’t provide any advice via this forum with limited information given. As mentioned, refer to the ANZSCO definition and claim what applies to your experience. Good luck! 😊

You can’t submit an EOI without your skills assessed. I would suggest to focus on the skills assessment before anything else.

Manghihingi po sana ako ng payo or opinion.
I had different job titles in my COE and Employment Reference, same employer.
When I applied for graduate visa, my COE stated na ang job title ko is Administrative and Accounting Assistant, yung COE po na sinubmit ko at that time walang list of duties.
Now I am applying for another visa, my Employment Reference states na ang job title ko is Assistant Accountant and it provided a list of my duties, I had this experience and job title assessed na with CPAA.
I am a bit worried na it might complicate things, dahil magkaiba ang job title ko. Will this affect my new visa application?
