@sarahgon You can't apply for any skilled immigrant visa unless you're invited by DHA (189) or nominated by a state (190, 491).

You might be able to nominate either Advertising Specialist or Marketing Specialist. Both are only eligible for state sponsored visas, so either 190 or 491. The occupation you will decide to nominate is very important because it will determine which states you can apply for sponsorship. Given your years of experience and the fact that Vetassess deducts at least 1 year of work experience, I think you'll get the same points for work experience regardless of whichever of the 2 occupations you decide on. Although if you continue on your current job and nominate the related occupation, you will eventually get additional points once you reach 5 years of recognized work experience.

I was able to get a 489 visa sponsored by SA. 489 is no longer offered and has been replaced by 491. Don't limit yourself to a 190 visa. Just apply for whichever ones you're eligible for. It's hard enough to get invited as it is.

Question again, dami ko concern.

I didnt know na kailangan pala ng proof of income from the previous companies na pinasukan mo. I just called company A where i was hired from November 2012 to February 2014, they told me they cant provide me with payslips and ITR since 5yrs lang ang safe keeping nila. Is there any way na matrieve ko po ang ITR ko? Tho I already secured my SSS and Philhealth nandun makikita naman po yung contribution from the company.

Hello, newbie po ako ito. Gusto ko lang pong humingi ng insights, what do you think po. Ma-approve po kaya for Visa 189 given the status below:

Age: 26yo
Work Experience: 6 years
Degree: Bachelors Degree (Education course with Mechanical and Production Engineering major)
With Family Sponsor
Hindi pa po kami nakakapag aral or nakakapunta sa ibang bansa, bale first time po ito to try.

Maraming salamat po, any insights din po kung paano namin mapapataas ang aming points. Sa mga sinearch ko po kasi although 65pts ay accepted na but not guaranteed to have invitation

@sarahgon 65 points is the minimum to submit an EOI but applicants are prioritized based on certain factors and points is one of those factors. So the higher the points, the better the chances.

For state sponsorship, the states also have their own requirements. When I applied for SA sponsorship in July 2018, SA's requirement for Marketing Specialist was minimum 85 points.

It's best to have all your documents ready so when the states start accepting sponsorship applications, you can submit right away. During my time, SA accepted applications for Marketing Specialist for half a day only. If I hadn't submitted right away I wouldn't be here now because my points went down the following year.

Thank you guys in advance, I decided to proceed my ACS assessment, my requirements are almost ready except for the employment reference. Unfortunately my previous and current job can't produce the standard template (with tasks) like the ACS requirements so I google and did my research and come up with Statutory Declaration option but needs an authorized witness.

One option I think is in the Australian Embassy. Please advise if my sequence is correct.

1st: My manager should make his own redacted employment reference and fill up the statutory declaration form.
2nd: Go to the embassy and find a witness
3rd: Sign the papers with the witness

In the above plan, I have a problem. There's still COVID scare here in PH and probably it's hard to convince my managers (previous and current) to join me in the Embassy since they are a bit old. So is there any other way? Can I get the signature first then go to the embassy? or do you know any other authorized witness that can help me.

She just received her pre-invite, however her skill assessment expired on the same date.
Applied in ANMAC last month, however she hasnt received it yet.
Emailed ANMAC however they cannot fast track her application for renewal.

Any advice regarding this matter?

Employement history ko po ay may experience po ako for my nominated occupation sa pinas but less than 1 year siya so hindi ako nagclaim ng points. I also have 1 year experience in australia and related siya sa occupation ko so nagclaim po ako ng points (5points). Mejo confused po ako dun sa immidiately before invitation na part.

Matagal yan sir sumagot. As I've said to you in the email, but for the benifits of the others umabot ako ng 2months tapos finollow up ulit ng agent ko. Then 3rd month okay na. Mag eemail sayo immi stating the withdrawal of your application.

Hi Ms. @RheaMARN1171933 and everyone, may clarification lang po. I'm currently on my residency status (thesis) sa Masters Degree ko sa open university. Hindi ko dineclare yung Masters sa AIM skills assessment ko because hindi ko pa siya completed. Dun ba sa EOI kelangan kong ideclare na currently enrolled pa ako sa Masters, or completed Bachelors Degree will suffice?

May update passport details sa Immiaccount. You just need to fill up something there then upload the new passport. Ganyan ginwa ko sa anak ko. Automatic mag aupdate siya.

Mga two weeks po ata ang pagdating ng new passport, hindi po kaya magkaissue while I’m waiting for the new one? Valid pa po ba ang old passport ko while waiting for a new one?
