Good day po! I would like to know kung sino po may same situation as mine, would love some advice.
May pending 190 application kami. Husband ko ang primary applicant, he's onshore. While my daughter and I are stuck sa Pinas due to COVID, di kami nakabalik sa Australia.
Now, we are granted tourist visa with single entry travel. I would like to know kung pwede ba kami mag-apply ng BVA pag dating sa Australia with our pending 190 application? I read the eligibility sa website but I still need further details. Thank you po!

What is your husband's current visa while he's onshore?
As far as I know, bridging visas are only granted when you have a valid visa already in effect (you are onshore) and you apply for another substantive visa. You generally can't apply for bridging visa separately like any other kinds of visa; they are granted automatically once you submit a visa application but they won't take effect or be valid until your current visa expires.
For example, if a current student visa expires on August 1, and another substantive visa is lodged (like a 485 graduate visa), the bridging visa is automatically applied for when you submit the 485 visa application. The bridging visa will be in effect only from the time the student visa expires (August 1 or 2), and will be valid until Home Affairs can make a decision on the 485 visa. But bridging visas can only carry over the work rights and conditions as the previous visa. If the previous visa does not allow you to work (like the tourist visa), the bridging visa will also carry the same restrictions.
In your case, if hindi pa granted yung 190 visa mo, I think that doesn't count as a valid visa yet, only your tourist visa. So if you enter Australia on a tourist visa, that becomes the visa in effect, and to get a bridging visa, you'd have to apply for another substantive visa. But because your 190 visa is already pending (as it was submitted before the tourist visa), I'm not quite sure if that situation will allow you to apply for a separate bridging visa. Maybe try consulting with a migration agent to confirm if your situation will allow you to lodge a bridging visa without having to lodge another substantive visa application?

Magandang araw po sa inyo. Gusto ko lang po sana magtanong para magkaron po sana ako ng konting idea tungkol sa timeline ng visa grant ngayon 2022. Kung meron po naka-experience or na-grant na po ngayon taon, pwede niyo po ba ishare kung gano po katagal ang inabot mula po nun nag-lodge kayo ng EOI hangang sa nabigyan kayo ng visa. Alam ko po iba-iba po ang magiging resulta bawat applicant pero gusto ko lang po magkaron ng konting idea kung gaano po kahaba un hihintayin bago mabigyan ng visa. Maraming Salamat po.

Hi! Question po ano difference ng ROI from EOI when it comes to filing? Required ba na may EOI na before filing for ROI, and ini-input na ba sa ROI ang details like date and score of IELTS, etc. when you submit your registration? ROI is submitted to State for 491, EOI is submitted to DHA.
Yes, because the State will look into EOIs from DHA to choose who to invite for 491 visa. Without EOI, the State will not be able to know your qualification to be invited.
Yes, ROIs require IELTS/PTE scores.

Dagdag ko lang po. yung ROI hindi lang for 491, applicable din sya sa 190. Depende to sa state kung gusto nila magpasubmit muna ng ROI (Registration of Interest) bago nila iassess yung application for state nomination.
Yes required EOI for ROI. In submitting ROI, depende sa state's stream kung ano yung requirements na dapat isubmit . For example, sa case ko, nag ROI ako sa SA under high performing graduate strem (HPG), ang rinequire lang nilang document from me is yung transcript then the rest input na lang ng details.Kailangan mo icheck yun sa state na gusto mo.
