I would suggest na i-declare mo since nag medication ka naman talaga.

BTW: I got scar as well and took 6 months medication, I got my visa approved. cheers!

from my experience, SG will only ask you to do medication if may ground sila na affected ka ng TB, If clear naman yung Xray mo & sputum test, they will not require you to undergo medication.

If mag positive yung sputum mo, they will ask you to complete the 6months medication.

Hello Everyone! I was hired in Australia via skilled visa 482. All has been completed since I have an Australian migration lawyer helping me, which was hired by the company who hired me. However when I get the medical, MOC notified me that I need another test but that is after 3 months. They did not advise sputum etc they just advise to have another test after 3months. What does this mean? Should I wait for 3 months considering my start date is in the next 2weeks..Did anyone have the same experience?

What does you agent says? They might be telling you to have another test after three months working. If unclear check your immiaccount or agent about it.

bring a comparison xray sa hospital kung san ka nagpa medical po. required talaga mag sputum test kapag may nakita sa lungs mo. I suggest to wait for sputum test matapos. kasi irerepeat xray ka din nila after culuture.

Best you ask immi officer what you should do next.

Even if you don't have any symptoms, it does not mean that you are not infected. Your case of TB might not be active, but it may be latent condition.

Although in both cases, Imo you might be required to under go at least a few months of medication before they can finalise your medical results unless they have already mentioned that it is final.

I had a latent TB findings. Which was required to medicate for 6months. Whether active or not, depende yun tlaga sa doctor na pagpapacheckupan mo. Na affiliate ng immigration. Maghihintay ka lang tlaga ng almost 8 months kasi 6months ung gamutan then 2months yung last sputum test mo.

Hi Sir, what if a month before lodging the visa nalaman mo na sir na may latent TB findings ka sa isang non-affiliated hospital ni immi, do you need to just continue the medication prior to your medical exam in an affiliated hospital or just lodge the visa while medicating already and just disclose the finding to the medical provider you're about to undergo from once it's your time to process your medical exam after visa lodgment?

Ohh i see, wala kapang lodgement. Im not really sure how to advise kasi student visa ka. But yes, if ever u lodge the visa, you have to disclose na may ongoing kang treatment. Not sure kung anung pwedeng gawin kasi hndi siya affiliated ng immi. U can ask Bupa directly. Kasi sila ata ung medical officer ng immigration. Not sure. Nung time ko kasi sila kausap ko about medical.

hi po..ask ko lang. naka lodge na ko ng 482 visa. meron akong australian immigration agent. problema ko di ko nadeclare sa visa application form na nag ka TB ako last 2019. pero ever since nun naka 2 medical nako, clear naman lahat ng xray....magkaka issue po ba ako nito kung sakaling me madetect sila?

Kame po. Nag gamot po ba kau last 2019? If yes, and nadetect nila na may TB kau now, magundergo ulit kau gamutan, pde din magkaproblem kau sa pagapply visa kase di nyo dineclare kaagad. Hopefully di madetect sa medical nyo. Good luck!

Bihira dito ang TB kaya you need to declare it bago pa nila matuklasan na may previous history ka ng TB.
Better, gumawa ka ng explanation, change in notification of incorrect answers kung pwede. Ask your migration agent kung paano. Madedelay lang yung application mo kasi ipapatest ka ulit. Kung naapprove na yan, wala ka ng magagawa. Alam ko may tanong sa medical kung may previous history ka ng TB, ang dapat ang answer mo dun ay Yes.

June po ung lodging ko then 1 month bago ako nakapagpa appointment ng medical and biometrics. After 5 days po nagemail sakin ung immi about sa TB. Nasstress po ako nun kasi wala naman akong ubo and hindi rin nagka covid. The way din ng email ung immi parang nahusgahan ka na. Kinabukasan, nagpa apicolordotic view ako sa labas and tb genexpert para sure kasi nagwowork ako dito and kasama ang pamilya. Negative naman both. Tumawag ako nationwide about sa email ng immigration health officer. Then sabi irerefer daw ako sa SLEC. Malalaman ko daw sched ko after 5 days. Naghintay ako ng 5 days, walang tawag or email kaya tumawag na ko sa SLEC, sobrang tagal nila bago sumagot. Then nung nakapagpa sched ako, 1month nanaman bago ung appointment.
Then 3 days un kada umaga pupunta ka. 1am palang gising na ko kasi ang haba ng pila. Ung ibang taga malayo, napapayagan na 1 day lang collection, interval 1h.
Pag Australia 5ml na sputum ang icocollect mo. Pag Canada 10ml. Wag daw ieexpose ung collection kasi baka macontaminate. So ioopen lang pag isasahod mo na ung sputum mo. Tiis lang talaga kasi madami ung 5ml.
Sa pang 2nd day ung referral hihingiin, pero sa 3rd day ko na dinala then pipictran ka. Papabalikin ka after 5 days, para sa pulmo and result ng sputum smear. Pag negative ka dun, sasabihin ng doctor. Then 2 months ung culture. Pag tinawagan ka within 2 months, may growth yun. Pag walang tawag, Punta ka sa date na ibibigay nila.
Additional stress ung sabi ng doctor na kahit negative ka both smear and culture pero dumami ung puti sa repeat xray, icoconsider na active positive.
Mga 3 weeks bago ako bumalik sa schedule date dahil wala pang tawag, nagpa xray ako sa labas para sure. Normal naman ung xray. Then ung sa appointment day na, pumunta na ko.
7:30 nandun na ko, pumunta ako sa 3rd floor (radiology) then sabi Punta daw muna ako sa 5th para alam na nandun na ko. Pagpunta ko ng 5th, naghintay ako ng matagal para lang mainform sila tapos pinababa na ko uli.
Iba ung method nila ng xray kaya nag worry ako, pahihingahin ka ng sobrang lalim, hold then ipapa release ung hangin and wag daw gagalaw.
Then after paghihinayin ka. Matagal un. Mga lunch lumapit na ko para tanungin kung natawa na ko para sa gagawin, then biglang sinabi na natawa na ko at baba na sa pulmo.
Pagbaba ng pulmo, maghihintay nanaman. Then pag ung result is same lang ung xray sa dati, or okay naman, okay na daw. After 7-10days ipapasa daw nila sa embassy ung result then embassy na magdedecide. Pag may growth sa xray, positive sa culture or smear, pag gagamutin ka. Wag po sumuko. Masyado lang talaga sila mahigpit sa au kasi may mga sakit na uncommon dito. Example: tuberculosis. Ang rabies parang never heard dito. Ang dahilan kasi, dadagan pa ang gastos nila sa healthcare if ever meron tuberculosis, or kung nakahawa and in addition, mahaba ang pila sa healthcare mapagovernment or private hospitals dito kaya, mahirap rin makakuha ng schedule ng doctor dito.

Waiting na ko ngayon sa 10 days na pagpasa nila sa embassy ng result. Sa totoo lang pasuko na ko dahil sa hirap ng process sa aus.

Naging option mo ba ang magsubmit ng old x-ray for comparison?

June po ung lodging ko then 1 month bago ako nakapagpa appointment ng medical and biometrics. After 5 days po nagemail sakin ung immi about sa TB. Nasstress po ako nun kasi wala naman akong ubo and hindi rin nagka covid. The way din ng email ung immi parang nahusgahan ka na. Kinabukasan, nagpa apicolordotic view ako sa labas and tb genexpert para sure kasi nagwowork ako dito and kasama ang pamilya. Negative naman both. Tumawag ako nationwide about sa email ng immigration health officer. Then sabi irerefer daw ako sa SLEC. Malalaman ko daw sched ko after 5 days. Then 3 days un kada umaga pupunta ka. 1am palang gising na ko kasi ang haba ng pila. Ung ibang taga malayo, napapayagan na 1 day lang collection, interval 1h.
Pag Australia 5ml na sputum ang icocollect mo. Pag Canada 10ml. Wag daw ieexpose ung collection kasi baka macontaminate. So ioopen lang pag isasahod mo na ung sputum mo. Tiis lang talaga kasi madami ung 5ml.
Sa pang 2nd day ung referral hihingiin, pero sa 3rd day ko na dinala then pipictran ka. Papabalikin ka after 5 days, para sa pulmo and result ng sputum smear. Pag negative ka dun, sasabihin ng doctor. Then 2 months ung culture. Pag tinawagan ka within 2 months, may growth yun. Pag walang tawag, Punta ka sa date na ibibigay nila.
Additional stress ung sabi ng doctor na kahit negative ka both smear and culture pero dumami ung puti sa repeat xray, icoconsider na active positive.
Mga 3 weeks bago ako bumalik sa schedule date dahil wala pang tawag, nagpa xray ako sa labas para sure. Normal naman ung xray. Then ung sa appointment day na, pumunta na ko.
7:30 nandun na ko, pumunta ako sa 3rd floor (radiology) then sabi Punta daw muna ako sa 5th para alam na nandun na ko. Pagpunta ko ng 5th, naghintay ako ng matagal para lang mainform sila tapos pinababa na ko uli.
Iba ung method nila ng xray kaya nag worry ako, pahihingahin ka ng sobrang lalim, hold then ipapa release ung hangin and wag daw gagalaw.

Wag pong sumuko. In my case, nakita na may TB daw ako kahit wala namang ubo. Walang anything. Just a hazy xray but sputum negative everything. No choice but to finish medication for 6-8 months. Ngayun waiting nalang. Just continue lang. Laging isipin ung goal why ur are doing this.

Since alam ko na may TB history ako at lagi nakikita whenever may X-Ray, kumuha ako ng Pulmonologist Clearance sa doctor ko na gumamot sakin. Sa clearance, pinaindicate ko kung kelan ako nadiagnose, anong gamot pinatake sakin at dosage and lastly yung duration ng gamutan ko.

Dinala ko yung clearance na yun at copy ng recent x-ray ko from previous medical for comparison sa X-ray na gagawin sakin sa IOM. Mas maganda eh soft copy yung previous xray nyo para mapadala din nila sa DHA yun for comparison.

After nun, wala na pinagawa saking sputum test. Pinapirma lang ako ng health undertaking (form 815) para makapagpacheck up ako at mamonitor kapag pumunta na sa Australia. After mo masubmit yung health undertaking, bibigyan ka na nila ng health clearance.
