@PMPdreamer Hello! May I just ask po. Kasi ang recommendation ng slec sa akin is "for tb treatment" at sinend na nila results ko sa embassy which is negative smear and culture test kaso ung repeat x ray ko after 3 mos is unstable, may changes daw. Do you have an idea if they will let me sign a health undertaking? Student visa lang po kinuha ko for 2 years. I am so worried right now. please enlighten me. Thank you

@mar16 hi po. Immi will decide on that matter pero they usually go with the decision of the clinic. Slec suggested to do another xray after 3 mos. We are still waiting for immi decision kung health undertaking or what.

@mar16 Hi, sorry mejo matagal akong di nakapag login kaya di ko nakita message mo. tama si @Peregrine , immi will decide on that matter. All the best in your journey.

@PMPdreamer My issue po with my dependent.. Initial xray last feb was with densities on AP lateral view pero ang apico view ay clear. Di nila kinonsider ung clear apico xray nya. We also consulted a pulmonologist just to check if he really has tb. Pulmo said he has no current lung infection and xrays were clear.

Repeat xray this month clear na daw and with negative sputum smear and culture. Repeat xray again after 3 mos as slec suggested. Hindi pa ba confirmatory ang sputum smear and culture? Nabasa ko before na dapat same result daw ang initial at repeat xray pero wala talaga syang tb.

@Peregrine since cleared ung sputum test mo and xray after the test isa na lang ang gusto nila makita. That is kung may magbabago ba sa result ng xray. kung parehong pareho ung result, then pag signin kayo ng health declaration then approval na un. usually si CO ang angsasabi na mag sign ng health declaration once matanggap nila ung medical result. tas pagdating nyo mag notify kayo para icheck ulet sha. then xray ulit. tas xray ulit after three months, then 6 months then 1 year. basta consistent ung result ganun lang gagawin. ganyan kasi ginawa ko

@PMPdreamer Thank you po. I have to wait gain another 6mos for PTB treatment pero inaantay ko lang email ng embassy kung pwede nko magstart. Super dami ko na delay sa school. Since april dapat ako pumasok na but bcoz of medical issues baka next year january 2020 na ako maclear hopefully. Another question po, may xray po ba ulit after tb treatment? And what to expect on the result para totally clear na? If you have idea lang naman po. Thanks a lot!

@Peregrine Ok thanks po. Ako nga din po sana health undertaking na lang but Im hopeless kasi I saw the Pulmo dr remarks na "recommended for ptb treatment" ako. Since I don't have symptoms naman and I feel very healthy. Lumiit kasi ung spot na nakita from initial x ray. Im just hoping for a miracle now but if not then I have to comply na lang mara magrant ang visa

Since magkaiba ang initial (w/densities) at repeat xray (clear) nya?

@Peregrine i think in your case na clear na ung sputum and na advise na to repeat xray? Pag un kasi ang recommendation ng clinic sa pinas, titignan ng bupa un then malaki ang chance na sundin nila ung recommendation for repeat xray. Hopefully after that repeat xray mapansin agad ng CO ung application mo para hingan ka na lang ng health declaration then approval na un.

@mar16 definitely may repeat xray after treatment. Hindi naman totally mawawala ung scar, pero im sure they will do that as part of procedure to compare state. saka kelangan lang maconfirm din nila na hindi active. baka pag sputum sample ka pa din kasi nag treatment ka. Dont worry, youl get there. sabi nga ni Alma Moreno, dasal lang

Tapos sa health declaration ko po nasabi ko na no ako for finding before for tb as advised by my mom pero nagtreatment po ako for 6 mons last 2013. Pwede ko pa ba sya ideclare sa st lukes since for additional tests po ako or baka maging grounds sya para madeny application ko since di ako naging honest in the first place?

Based on that result, you can make a decision whether to declare or not that so-called tb incidence... baka naman kasi primary complex lang at di naman full blown tb.

More or less alam mo ang possible scenario bago ka pumunta ng accredicted clinic ng Au immigration.

Hi, actually nagpatreat na po ako nung 2016 for ptb kaya kinakabahan ako if idedeclare ko now na for additional tests ako sa st lukes. Kasi di na ako naging honest in the first place.

@amerasian08 Kung may scars talaga, then no choice but declare and show evidence that you have undergone treatment.
Since most TB tests, TST, PDD, Mantoux even IGRA cannot distinguish between active tuberculosis disease and latent tuberculosis infection, the next scenarion would be is that you will be asked to have another round of treatment.

I see. Sige po declare ko na lang on my test sa st lukes. Di naman po ba sya magiging grounds para madeny ako of the visa kasi nag lie ako nung initial test?

Share kok lang po ang experience ko. Nag back read kasi akl and nakita ko na before SG doesn't require you to do sputum test. But in my case, ni require agad ng bupa ang test 603. Sputum for 3 days and xray. Dito sg, right away may medication nako. If assuming negative ako sa sputum. Pag positive anung mangyayari?

Yes, as long as ma prove mo na cleared kana and na-complete mo yung medication mo, I dont see why they will deny your visa application.

I would suggest na i-declare mo since nag medication ka naman talaga.

BTW: I got scar as well and took 6 months medication, I got my visa approved. cheers! =)

from my experience, SG will only ask you to do medication if may ground sila na affected ka ng TB, If clear naman yung Xray mo & sputum test, they will not require you to undergo medication.

If mag positive yung sputum mo, they will ask you to complete the 6months medication.

Yung SG meticulous sila, once may scar sa chest, they will consider it as TB na, kaya pina medication ka kaagad.
