Lagay ko rin ang timeline ko.

    WARNING: Long post ahead

October 25, 2021 - first conversation with employer

October 27, 2021 - received confirmation na for INTERVIEW

    November 04, 2021 - interview done

December 02 - job offer with visa sponsorship

December 16 - Visa Nomination granted

So LDR muna ngayon.

    January 27, 2022 - Visa Application Lodged.

    Feb 21, 2022 - Medical

    March 24, 2022 - Visa Granted

PLOT TWIST #2 : AKALA NYO DITO MAG TATAPOS HA.

Plus si employer, first time maka encounter nito, so very unfamiliar territory for them. They had to know the laws regarding Philippine passport holders on a work visa.

July 15, 2022 - Received POLO Verified documents by email

August 18, 2022 - OEC Granted. Pag gabi nito nag book na kaagad ng ticket to Aus.

Aug 23, 2022 - Lipad na papunta dito

    Aug 24, 2022 - TATSDAWN!

Kaya payo ko sa mga nagsisimula pa lang/ may balak mag Australia with a 482 Visa:

Discuss with your employer regarding the OEC, and their role in helping you get the OEC.

Meron ba ditong nag-apply ng visa 482 without the help of migration agents/lawyers? First time kasi ni employee magsponsor so di siya aware sa mga ganito. Eh ako gusto ko sana mag-avail ng services ng migration lawyer for me and my employer's protection na din for legalities etc.

So medyo naguguluhan ako haha

    August 8 - application lodged
August 15 - medical sa IOM Makati (cleared same day sa immi account)
    Sep 1 - visa granted

Not sure po sa accountant. Nurse kasi ako, so kailangan talaga yung assessment sa amin kasi may part ng visa application na kailangan iinput yung assessment namin. :)

Sorry kung medyo pina asa. Di rin ako familiar sa assessment when it comes to accountancy eh.

Hopefully makita po yung bag niyo. or mareimburse man lang po kayo.

regardless kung ano profession mo, most of the working visas, including 482, will ask you to get your skills assessed. for accountants, pwede kang magpa assess sa CPAA, CAANZ, IPA.

I suggest read the narratives for 482, before ka magbasa dito sa forum na to. i know this forum helps, but it's very important to have the first hand information from DHA itself thru their published guidelines.

i am also a DIY migrant who had my skills assessed by CAANZ so hope this helps and give you some assurance

Hi @jobxxx thanks for your thoughts. Yup, I've done my research naman din regarding visa 482. I've also joined a lot of FB groups to check and may mga accountants for visa 482 na nagpa-assess and hindi nagpa-assess. As per the list din kasi na ni-release ng immi, hindi kasama ang accountants sa may mandatory skills assessment kaya medyo confusing. Although naka-book naman na ko ng consultation with a migration lawyer, kaya lang next week pa kasi at ang tagal haha so I was just looking around if may same exp ba :) but thank you!

Yes, print many copies of OEC. They suggest 3, pero I say na mas safe if may at least 5 copies ka.

IMHO po, mas malaki chance na ma grant ang application if may assessment para mas may proof na suitable ang skills na meron ka to the job na ibibigay sa iyo. :) so if may chance na magpa assess ka, mas mainam yun.

Onshore applicant here. Same din saken yong isa kong kakilala ni require siya ng agent to acquire assessment and same kami ng nominated occupation and stream. I asked the HR pati migration agent kase nag duda ako at first (relieved and medjo takot sa feeling kase yong assessment talaga saken medjo headache and baka ma refuse yong visa) lol and they said na hindi required ang assessment. Well I trust them naman and they also had the same experience with prev employees and na sponsoran din. Baka ibat-ibang case talaga.

Hi, new in the forum. I have a pending application - TSS 482 Short term. Last update was Sept 1. Status received pa din.

    Timeline ko:
Aug 5 - lodgement (no medical and police clearance yet)
Sep 1 - health checks sent, and accepted
Sep 23 - Uploaded SG police clearance (SG based po ako).
    Status to date: Received.

Should I be concerned or matagal pa ba ito?

Hello po, offshore or onshore? Try to check sa seek, indeed, linkedin or any jobs application platform po. May mga companies na they offer sponsorship during the application pa lang and nakalagay mismo sa post nila. Also, depende sa employer po if they will provide agad-agad or you have to stay sa company for months or years before they can decide about the sponsorship. Try your luck and send many applications kase swerte-swerte din makahanap ng sponsorship.

Hi new in the forum, I am mainly interested on finding employers open to visa sponsorship. Just wondering how you found yours? If willing lang naman mag-share hehe. Thaaanks

Hello mga kabayan, my employer is willing to sponsor me after my probation period. I am a System Analyst under Medium and Long Term skills currently onshore.

I checked that I can hold 482 - TSS with pathway to PR but me and my husband are thinking if pwede ba mag 186 DE since I have ACS assessment and more than 3 years working experience.
Any insights what are the chances for 186, will it be more difficult for the employer?
Was this even offered to you guys before when employer said they are willing to sponsor?

if 186 DE is in the offer, then take it. :) employer mo lang makakasagot kung alin (482 or 186) ang comfortable sila to offer you.

Hellooooooo! Nakakakaba pala talaga :#
