yung job po kasi hndi ako mag claim ng points since cya yung deducted by ACS pero tama po ba na "Yes" yung "Is this employment related to the nomination position?"

basta hindi covered ng deemed skilled date sa ACS, safer to mark them as not related. so both No ang sagot ko dyan.

Yes sagot ko dito. Tapos may explanation lang na lahat ng instructed in English, except for a few Filipino-related/-instructed subjects.

When you fill up the visa application form, may portion where it will ask your English scores, it looks like you can still correct it there.

I think mas titignan nila yung sagot sa application form against the uploaded document as compared to the EOI. Since same naman yung points, I don't think it should be an issue.

If I were you, itutuloy ko pa rin yung application since wala naman nabago sa points at nabaligtad lang yung scores, same result pa rin. Share ko lang yung sakin kasi meron din ako discrepancy sa visa application vs EOI ko:

yung latest position ko hindi ko nalagay sa EOI though same job code pa rin naman, sa visa application ko yung latest na position na nilagay ko as shown sa latest Employment Reference ko
nagpalit ng company name yung employer ko, ang nalagay ko sa EOI ko yung latest name lang, tapos sa visa application ko nilagay ko old name at new name as shown sa documents na provided ng company, at yung BIR 2316 ko old name and address pa rin ang nakalgay at namali din spelling ng home address ko.

Tingin ko as long as hindi malaki impact eh papalagpasin naman nila.

I think pagbibigyan nila yang minor error especially if walang effect sa magiging outcome if superior or proficient. Ang major issue is if nagclaim ng superior points pero proficient lang talaga yung score.

What I would do is to keep the old designation to be consistent with the EOI and skills assessment. Then provide the (1) promotion letter with official company letterhead, (2) the old employment reference with job duties and the old job title, and (3) a new employment reference with the new job title for further proof.

Are you claiming points on the new job title? If so, you should have updated your EOI so it’s reflected there…providing evidences should be straightforward if that’s the case. I could only assume that the EOI wasn’t updated prior to invite - ?

The issue with this suggestion is that if the old designation is used for the new job title so it’s consistent with the EOI, the official evidences to support such claim won’t be consistent with the EOI.

What’s interesting to know with this case is whether or not the EOI was updated prior to the invite….because if it’s updated, then employment history should be a straightforward task to do.

Yes po hndi naupdate yung EOI ,if its the current position pwede naman na hndi iclaim ung points since same points pa rin naman if ang i claim lang is the old position.

You need to action your case with caution. It is VERY important that your supporting documents support your EOI claim hence the reason why updating the EOI is crucial. The danger here is overclaiming of points which I think is highly unlikely if the new position is still related. If your docs don’t fully support the EOI claim, case officer might query what this new position is, all the more if you’ve claimed points for it. If you decide to not include this, you will still need to provide documents to show that you are still in the same position until the date of invite. You need to be able to address these things- that’s the tricky part. I don’t have a full picture of your case for obvious reasons so couldn’t comment much further but just be careful how you present your evidences.

👍 I seeked Karl’s advice many years ago when I was trying to make it to Australia…hence the reason why information gathered from any forum should always be followed by further research. forums are very helpful but not until a professional has the thorough understanding of one’s case, it’s essential to use own judgement on information at hand. Often times posts are translated differently which can have a negative impact on the application. If one needs a thorough advice, at least invest on consultation with a registered migration agent rather than opinions on this forum. Go to Mara.gov.au to search for agents - the peace of mind from talking to a qualified agent will definitely be invaluable. I’m not just saying this because I’m an agent myself but from my own personal experience. Been there done that many moons ago on my own migration journey
