Hi Guys, I'm currently applying for Visa Subclass 491 and 190. Nakapaglodge na ng EOI since Nov. 2020, but still no progress. Lately, I'm planning to take masters in AUS and apply for Student Visa. My question is, pwede bang mag-apply ng Student Visa while I have an ongoing application sa Subclass 491 or 190? Hoping I get clarity on this. Salamat.

Hi everyone! I am planning to apply for student visa, at the same time magpapa assess rin ako sa AIMS (Medtech assessment in Aus) Is it possible po?

I think you can process them at the same time. Skills assessments are independent from the visa application (unless AIMS specifically needs you to be onshore with a valid and specific visa duration).

Hello guys so I'm currently in talks with IDP, magsesend na ako ng mga hinihingi nila sa akin like the IELTS results and stuff then bigla nagrecommend ung isa kong family member sa isang agency na nagaasikaso sa friend nila.
Chineck ko tapos parang baguhan lang sila(less than 1k followers on FB) and I've noticed na ung mga schools na pinapadalhan nila ng estudyante ay ung the same 2-3 schools lang na hindi kilala. And may nababasa nga ako na minsan nagtatake advantage ang ibang agencies, medyo sketchy kaya to? Ininvite kami for zoom meeting this thursday and currently hinihingian ako ng CV sa email to check which schools I can apply to.

I would recommend going with IDP as they're more reputable and well known.

Hello registered archi po ako sa pinas. Planning to apply for onshore student visa.
Please help

Have you had a look at the requirements for a positive skills assessment as an Architectural Draftsperson? Kung kaya mo naman makakuha ng positive skills assessment then I suggest you focus on the requirements to lodge an EOI for a 189, 190, 491 visa. Maraming naiinvite these days.
If you have limited funds, student visa is really not a good idea. A 6 month course will not help your points in any way.

Courses that are less than 92 weeks will not give you any points under SkillSelect. However, if you combine that with another degree so that your total study time is more than 92 weeks, you can potentially claim points for 2-year Australian study.

1 MONTH OVERSTAY
Hello po! Need your opinion.
Complete documents, good strong GTE.
Approx. 1-2 months. Wala naman good reason other than gusto lang ako pag extend-in ng parents ko at the time. Scheduled ako umuwi ng November dapat, but suddenly they wanted me to extend and spend Christmas and New Year with them on said country.
My parents have lived there for approx. 20 years at the time, both have legal resident visas and working. But the country is a third world country, at sobrang lenient nila when it comes to laws. To the point na, wala talagang kaso kung mag overstay ka. Wala sila paki. I attached a screenshot of kung gaano ka lenient
During that same trip kung saan i overstayed, it's also the same time na inapply na ko ng parents ko for the same resident visa that they have. So ang sinasabi nila ngayon (other than wala naman talaga kaso dun if you overstay), is during the time na lumagpas na yung 3 months (meaning overstayed na ko), we had already processed the application for the resident visa. And, according to parents, as long as may running application ka na for that, ok na yun. We only held on to a receipt of the application to present as needed. However, I have no proof of that receipt kasi five years ago na yun. Also cant find proof na pwede ngang receipt lang muna. But, honestly, the country's laws are so inconsistent po talaga. And sobrang walang maayos na structure even til now.
During the overstay, nagrant din ako ng exit visa, kasi nga expired na yung visa na ginamit para pumasok ng country. Then 4 months after, nasa pinas na ko, nagrant yung residency permit/visa ko.
Ang sinasabi ni agent is ideclare nalang namin yung trip, and gawa na lang ako ng letter explaining the whole situation. Considering na nakakuha naman ako ng exit visa after i overstayed, a residency visa 4 months after, and then successfully renewed said visa recently, thats enough to prove na wala naman talaga kaso sa bansa na yun yung pag overstay ko. Ni walang tatak sa passport or any record / stamp that says i overstayed. So best to declare daw and write a letter about it.
Ako naman, mejo kinakabahan, and considering the option na wag nalang ideclare yung period ng travel na yun. Kasi nga alam ko, red flag pag may overstay record. I dont even know if magiging considerate immi with my case. I really really want to go to au. But i also want to be honest with my application. Sobrang torn po ako.
Here's the full timeline of that trip para mas clear:
Questions:
Thank you so much po. Need as much opinion as i can get kasi maglodge na kami next week. Enrolled na ko sa school and everything. Ito na lang po talaga huhu. Thank you!

Don't lie on a visa application kasi if they catch you lying baka ma-ban ka from applying for a visa in the future & you will have to keep declaring that ban & explaining the reason behind it when you apply for visas to other countries.
Note that if you ever intend to apply for PR here you will have to declare your movements for an extended period of time and I have read cases in this forum na na-question kung bakit hindi tugma yung info sa student visa application and PR application. So don't make things complicated din for yourself & potentially shutting doors that haven't even opened for you yet.

Thank you. Yes, i guess im leaning towards declaring na rin, it was an honest mistake and didnt know at the time na may 3 months limit pala. Kasi my parents were cool with it lang and i trusted na alam nila ginagawa nila when they made me extend, since 20 years na silang ofw dun sa country na yun. No choice na rin naman ako because declaring is the the safest and lawful option. Thanks again!

Hello. TIA.
Brother, 36 - has NCII Cookery from TESDA, may COE for 1yr as cook pero walang SSS at BIR records.
Planning to take Cert IV in Kitchen Management + Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management.
His wife, 34 - has bachelors and masters degree in education, handled grade 4-6 for 2yrs and grade 7-10 for 9yrs. Planning to take Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care + Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
Thank you.

Hi, given that the wife has tons of work experience, possible ba na maglodge siya ng EOI for secondary educ teacher pagdating nya onshore? Nagpa-assess na ba siya ng work experience?
Invitations nowadays are kind of unpredictable so there's really no telling alin sa kanila ang unang ma-invite after studying and gaining local experience (depende sa demand by the time they finish studying). Probably something to consider lang with your brother is that he is approaching the age bracket na mababawasan sya ng points kung siya ang primary applicant (33-39 ata yung age bracket). So by the time na makagraduate sya and macomplete ang 3 years cook work experience, baka nasa next age bracket na sya for age points.

Thank you po.

nasa MLTSSL yung Secondary School Teacher occupation, so baka mas advantageous kung yung wife ang magiging primary applicant for PR EOI down the line. If pursuing student pathway, baka pwede yung wife ang mag-aral, then lodge nalang ng EOI as secondary school teacher after makarating onshore. If no invitation under that occupation, pwede nya subukan na ECE ang occupation, since shorter ang required work experience?

Good day! Just wanna ask for inputs po.
I am a BSBA Marketing graduate with work experience in the banking industry (Marketing/Product/Events-related).
I already kept in touch with some agencies as I want to study, work, and live in Australia. So far the options I got are:
1. Masters in Business Administration
2. Masters in Business Analytics
I am hoping to find cheaper options po sana. I am looking for a school near Blacktown NSW. Please let me know if you have recos. Thank you!

How much work experience do you have? My 30 year old cousin got invited by NSW for a 190 visa last month. Her nominated occupation was Marketing Specialist and she's offshore. If you have enough points, why don't you just try directly for a skilled visa?
