Does anyone know if the philippine vaxcert recognized in Australia?

Once your company gets a hold of your vaccination record, ireregister din nila sa Aus Immunization Record mo

Way of manifesting din po sana since waiting na lang din po ng grant:
    1. Ano po mga need ipakita sa airport?
    3. May way po ba para makakita agad accomodation kahit nasa pilipinas pa? Or need po talaga inspection? If so, nag hotel po ba muna kayo or airbnb?

    Salamat po :)

Will answer what I know ha.
    1. Matagal na ko lumipad. Nung time ko, passport na kailangan may sticker nung CFO at visa grant. Yan yung sa pinas. Pag lapag ng AU, passport lang.
Nag open ako ng account as soon as pag dating ko. So I tried to write a cheque for myself para i-deposit dun. Nag wire transfer na lang ako from pinas to au.
    3. Eto wala ako idea, kasi when I got here, nakitira ako sa kamag anak.

Umabot kami almost 3mos. You may call them to check kung nareceive na nila or kung naka queue na yung application nyo.

    1. May way po ba para makakita agad accomodation kahit nasa pilipinas pa? Or need po talaga inspection? If so, nag hotel po ba muna kayo or airbnb?

Kung single ka or couple kayo without kids, pwede kayo mag-Airbnb muna. Usually rooms in shared houses don't require an inspection pero mas maigi din para you can check kung okay kayo sa location before you commit.

May ongoing rental crisis dito so medyo mahirap to get your own place. Very competitive ang applications because so many people are applying for limited vacancies. You have to take this into consideration if you're moving here with kids. In SA it is mandatory that a prospective tenant inspects the property. In all states, you will be required to provide references when you apply for a property. Yung references will be a mix of people from your community, employer & your current and past property agents or landlords. They also ask for other documents such as IDs to complete the 100 point check, payslips, bank statements.

The house you apply for should also be suitable for your household. Usually hindi kayo ientertain kung, for example, magsisiksikan kayo sa bahay because the landlord's insurance might not pay up kung yung number of tenants exceeds the coverage. Some property agents will also consider the ages of the children kasi at a certain age they won't allow siblings of different genders to share a room. The agents usually won't tell you about these considerations on their end. Basta declined na lang application nyo. So it will be good din for you to ask around pagdating nyo dito para alam nyo preferences ng locals.

MOstly cashout talaga payments. meron mga murang car from 2k (luma) pataas.

If planning for loan, you need a work to show the bank na may budget ka for montly repayments. though maganda dito kahit wala DP pwede, basta approve bank yung loan.

My first car is a 2000 Ford Focus (manual) nakuha ko xa from FB marketplace for 2,600aud (Syd, NSW). maganda pa naman umandar, pero yung body dami dents. kinuha ko na din kasi pasok sa budget. if hindi ka maalam tumingin makina, you can ask a mechanic (search sa fb pinoy groups) to come with you para icheck yung car na likes mo. Need mo lang pay hourly rate nila, kung ano man mapagka sunduan nio.

if flying directly from SG to Australia, no need na. Then you can just arrange your OEC sa Australia if your going home to PH (depende sa hawak mong VIsa, if required ang OEC)

i think ang need mo is OEC. for sure yun hahanapin sayo once lumabas ka ng pinas. and to gain OEC, i think isang requirement is to do a PDOS, pero now online nmn na ata. medyo matagal n ko huli nag process OEC kaya let me confirm this sa mga tropa ko na umaalis.

Does anyone know if the philippine vaxcert recognized in Australia?

Make sure na TGA recommended yung vaccines mo

Hi @tigerlance, thru online application ka ba sa medicare? if yes, after how many weeks na- mail ang medicare card sa iyo?

Smooth lang. Scan lang nila passport mo. declare mo lang need ideclare para sa border security/ customs as per the declaration card. Mahigpit sila sa bio security dito so avoid bringing those items like fresh veg/fruits/meat etc. Good luck!

You'll have to consider it from the POV of the landlord and flatmates, if willing ba sila magshare ng house with adults plus kids, especially if they're very young or potentially makulit.

I would recommend going for short-term rental for a few weeks, rather than commit to a long-term lease right upon arrival, para ma-gauge nyo rin kung ok ba talaga ang location na yun or not. If school age na ang mga bata, you'll also have to consider if your location is within the target school's catchment area.
