2 Question about skilled employment.: "Put past 10 years experience"

    1. Sa ACS ko kasi last year kasama yung Employer ko nung 2011-2012 (1 year worth of xp)
Pero this year magiging pang 11th year na sya, pwede ko pa din ba syang isama or -1 year na agad ako?
Then yung current work ko naman same pa din but sa ACS ko, July 2022 yung date of submission so yun lang nakalagay. Auto credit ba yung Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec (+ 5 months) or may letter na need from ACS to include those months?

Will that make any difference or valid pa din na related yung work nya from 2020. I mean, issue ba if may 2 year no work sa mga partners when claiming extra 5 pts.

As long as may positive skills assessment po si partner and still valid, no issue po sa pagclaim ng points.

Ginawa nya yun kasi mas mahaba work experience nya doon. Na-reject yung application because mismatched yung occupation for which she was invited dun sa occupation in the submitted skills assessment. The CO did not contact her to clarify. Rejected na lang yung nakuha nyang outcome.

I think pwede din na maging reason ng refusal is di na valid mga docs (skills or english assessment) at the time of invitation.

Medical issues are some of the common reasons to get rejected too. I know someone who got rejected because of his kidney problem where he needs regular dialysis. Outright rejection to.

Dialysis is used as an example in the website.

As long as nasa skilled occupation list ang Financial Advisor/Manager, your friend meets the eligibility criteria of VETASSESS, and his/her/their requirements are all good, yes there's a chance.

No…lodging an EOI is not at all an application. Bridging visa is issued to bridge current visa to another. It won’t be applicable to your circumstance.

You will need to check first your visa conditions on 600subclass. If it states no further stay then you’ve got no choice but to leave.

I agree! Around May/June, it will be likely quiet as usually, quotas for the year have been filled already in time for the end of financial year in June.

Also note that an EOI is valid for 2 years. A tourist visa has restrictions on how long you can stay here, lalo na kung may no further stay condition, and walang working rights pati ang tourist visa.

That’s true. It’s been very quick so far. I’ve had cases where EOI lodged early this year this year and bee. Invited na. Latest invite, we’ve lodged EOI in November, got invited tye same month…there are also cases still on EOI since 2021 and no invite yet

masusuggest nyo ba na every 6 months mag resubmit ng new EOI para fresh palagi or okay lang na 2 years na as long as wala naman nabago sa score or information.

No point submitting an EOI every 6 mos kasi nakabase din sa earliest lodging dates ang invite. Just lodge an EOI and hope for the best. Kung mag expire edi lodge a new one again with renewed docs.

Hi, sana po may makasagot po. Magsa-submit po kasi ako ng EOI on April, tapos mag-tour po ako under SC 600 sa Melbourne on May-July. Possible po kayang makapag bridging visa ako while waiting for an invite? Maraming salamat po sa sasagot.

No. When you lodge, you then wait

Hi good day. may naka-experience na po dito ng similar case sa'kin?

    1) Civil Engineer (Site/Office Engr) = 2yrs 8months
    2) Senior Estimator fpr Aluminum Cladding = 2yrs+ (current work)

San po dapat magpa-assess, Engineers Australia or VETASSESS?

    Salamat po sa sasagot.

It depends on what occupation you plan to have get invited for. You can check here and determine which assessing body is required (https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skill-occupation-list). You can also check which between the 2 has faster turnaround kasi alam ko recently VETASSESS has some delays.

Have you checked the job description for both occupation to see if there is substantial overlaps in terms of tasks/responsibilities? If there's a huge overlap in tasks, you can potentially try to get the collective experience (which totals 4 years 8 months) assessed with EA under Civil Engineer (which is in-demand here).

If there's not much overlap and you're nominating CE as the occupation, you might not get any points at all since each experience is less than 3 years, and the minimum required overseas experience to get points is 3 years (and assuming EA or VETASSESS won't deduct anything from your CE work experience).

I am currently onshore with 482 (working visa).

Thank you so much po sa sasagot!

It depends…if your 482 visa isn’t expired yet then you continue to be on that visa after 189 lodgement. You can still travel in that visa…but if it has expired, your bridging visa A which will be granted to you upon 189 visa application lodgement will be automatically activated which will restrict you from travelling unless you apply for a bridging visa b. Bridging visa b will only be granted if the travel is for emergency purposes.
